Typical First Post - sorry - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Right, to cut a lonnnnng first post story short, basically, rooted my phone yesterday, went well, installed some rooted apps and was having fun, one app, 3D something, from Google Play. it asked me to restart my phone after setting superuser (i thought this was quite weird) anyway i boot locked my phone - got the typical "Samsung GALAXY Note GT-N7000" and the phone woundnt move from there, i can gt into vol+ home and power and vol- home and power still. so after some research i found i had to flash therelivant stock ROM using odin - so i did. and it worked. then at somepoint today my phone got stuck in a boot loop consisting of the GT-N7000 screen then the samsung spash screen. when i do vol+ home power, i get in red text "E:/error%20in%20/data/recovery_last_kernal_log.txt" - what does this mean? and how(if at all) do i fix it?
i have curently re-flashed stock ROM and vol+ home power & "wipedata/factory reset" and so far so good......
any help or shed light would be a great help
Phone is Samsung GALAXY Note GT-N7000

[Q] Advice needed please

I recently got a S2 gt-i9100 which was O2 uk branded.
I debranded it with I9100XXKL1_I9100OXAKL1 which went smoothly.
Ever since then this seems to be the only firmware the phone will accept.
I9100XXLPQ (Official Final Build) just hangs at the boot screen, I9100XWKJ1_I9100O2UKJ1 (the original o2 firmware) loops. and other firmwares do the same.
Is there a way around this, is it something I've done wrong.
Please, any help would be appreciated as I'm pulling my hair out with this thing.
Try do this with the official final build but i ain't sure if it is going to work out ..but its worth trying put ua phone into recovery mode & do a clean wipe / factory reset & wipe cache
Then reboot
This is how to put you Galaxy S II into Recovery Mode:
1. Turn off your Galaxy S II phone.
2. Now hold the Volume Up + Home + Power buttons of your Galaxy S2 smartphone until the Samsung logo comes up.
3. When you see the Samsung logo; quickly release the buttons for half a second and then hold them again.
Now your Galaxy S II will boot into its Recovery mode.
Use the volume keys to navigate and the home button to make your selection.
Just done that but Whilst I was there I noticed my csc code was KOR, so I have changed it to CPW. I'll see if that makes a difference.
Edit...
Still not installing ICS
Hasn't anyone else came across this peoblem before, or even have a clue what it could be

[q] gs3 at&t soft bricked halfway boots download mode

I recently bought a soft bricked galaxy S 3 from a gentleman who said he rooted it and one day it wouldn't boot.
When i turned it on, it would vibrate, then say Samsung, move to the galaxy s 3 logo, then shut off. I hooked it up to ODIN and flashed the original stock 4.0.4 rom to the phone by pressing the PDA button. I selected the Auto Reboot, F. Reset Time, and Nand Erase All options before flashing.
The flash was successful, but when i booted up the phone afterwards (by unplugging it, then taking out the battery and putting it back in) I held down power, home, and volume down, and it took me to the download screen, but then shut off. I cant boot into recovery either because when i hold down the appropriate buttons it says "booting recovery" but then shuts off.
I know its not the battery because i tried a different one and both batteries were fully charged.
I did not flash a boot chain, because i could not find one for ATT S3
The phone will also not boot while plugged in via USB to computer or wall charger.
Phone Info:
Model: SGH-1747
If you could find links to the things needed or any solutions to this almost unbricked s3 please help me!!
Thanks in Advance

Rooted Galaxy S3 bricked

Today I felt that something was heating up my pocket so I took out my phone. The phone was showing the Cyanogenmod boot animation and it was very very hot. I decided to turn it off from the power button. When I wanted to turn it back on, it didn't work. No vibration, no beep, nothing.
I have tested the battery on another phone and it is working properly. I have tried removing the battery, pressing the power button + home button, I have tried entering download/recovery mode and nothing happened. I plugged in the USB in my laptop, nothing happened. I can't even see the "Galaxy S III i9300" booting animation.
The software installed was "[5.1.1] [Build 17] [BETA] [2015-09-11] CyanogenMod 12.1 for i9300 ". Is there any way that I can fix my device by restoring it to stock or anything? Thank you!
This Is How I Fixed Mine
Go here, that's how I unbricked mine. Hope I helped

S3 9300 stuck boot screen no recovery mode access

Hi everyone.
My case is similar to this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/help/i9300-wont-boot-recovery-mode-isnt-t2993235
- Only that me cellphone has never been rooted or flashed.
It happened two days ago, I sent a message through WhastApp, close it, open up the radio, I plugged the headphones, and in that precise moment there was an "updating" notification message, then everything went black and it reboot, getting stuck in the "Samsung Galaxy S3 - GT-I9300" screen.
I have tried:
- Stuck Power button solution -> Not worked.
- Disassembler the cellphone to clean the Power button -> Not worked.
- Trying to get to Recovery mode (Volume Up + Home + Power buttons pressed)-> Not possible to get into that stage.
- The cellphone is not recognize by Window 7 SP1 with latest USB drivers for Samsung phones as USB Flash storage device.
I would like to have my photos/images back because they hold a great emotional value. In simply words, I need to save the my user data from the phone.
So, I have some questions:
- Can I get/save my data back by flashing the cellphone?
- I read I can flash a recovery partition through or with Odin, would this erase the data I want to backup?
Well, anyone who want to give me advice and some guide here, let me thank you before hand and I'm ready to listen I try whatever comes your mind, just point me out what do I have to read or do.
:highfive:
