What I would like to know is if anyone has rooted it or not ? I thought that a root guide will be helpful to the users.
I have rooted micromax a63 and stuck in bootloop.
I googled a lot to find a root for jellybean 4.2.2. My friend told me that all jelly bean versions use common root method..I saw one method for 4.1.2 on xda-developers site, followed it and finally got my device in boot loop..can I recover my phone from it? Is my device bricked forever? Plz reply..

1. Download "Frameroot 1.6.apk"
2. Install app
3. turn on USB Debugging
4.open app*frame root*
5. select "'install SuperSu"' from dropdown
6. Hit that button/exploit

I forgot to take a backup before rooting..Cant restore..I contacted service center and they say the android for a63 fun is not given to them yet.. What should I do?

Micromax offers gps, but I could not find "GPSSatellites" option in settings>location access..

Dont try what I did..It may brick the phone..Go to nearest service centre..they will do it for you!
i have rooted my phone using framaroot why to use any other ............
but i unrooted it back because i want to root it after any stock firmware or custom roms will be available for A63......:good:

Anyone provide the stock rom(official android software) of a63 please...
Trick for activating developer option in a63 goto settings then about phone
Then tap build number more than one time
Then one notification will appear saying you are now a developer
To open developer option goto settings scroll down....
Found myself by experimenting......

facing battery problem after rooting canvas hd
guys i am using canvas hd for the past 1 month.. recently i rooted it.. rooting was successful since i followed xda root method. But since rooting i am facing a serious battery performance issue... earlier before rooting i could use my for continuously at a stretch of 7 hours but now the battery goes down in 4 hours itself.. has rooting got to do anything with it?? also i have not installed any root requiring apps yet on my phone... my usage is same as it was before rooting.. kindly help...

No. Rooting has nothing to do with it. root just unlocks the phone and lets you access/modify the system files. Root itself does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

Hi,
Earlier I was not able to root by this method. But now cracked it using the same method. I was not able to make my phone getting detected in SP Flash tools.
It needs you to give run as admin even though you are logged In as admin. Anyway got it rooted. Thanks a lot for the response.....

Just run the flash tool as administrator, did the job for me. Earlier was facing the same issue. Just follow the video as it is you should be able to root it.

Solution: SP FLASH TOOL ERROR: ( 8200 )
For those who are facing issues with the SP Flash Tool error, where in your Phone is recognized by the Flash tool but towards the end it shows incompatibility, all you need to do is uodate to the latest SP Flash tool - SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1248.0.96. Hit thanks if this helped

Check IMEI numbers under About Phone Information. If IMEI are showing as "unknown" then it is serious problem.
There is IMEI repair thread also, but it did not work for my friend. May be it will work for you. My friend had to send phone to Service Center.
Not me, but experts here say that is not safe to use Clockworkmod (CWM) which give weird problem and they advised to use "TWRP".

Runned sp flash tool as an administrator..... Everything as u said.. N also debugging mode was also switched on..! I connected the mob without the battery... N started Using flashing tool I did the process as u said..! But after all these also my phone not getting rooted... It's not even detected..! So I used that alternated file u said too download from tt something called gogl/ something like this... Even that isn't working... N after this unsuccessful thing.. Now my apps r crashing.!.... Plz suggest me wat. To do...! Plz Plz Plz n my mob is brand new..! - micromax canvas Hd.

Its already unlocked anyway. You dont have to unlock Indian phones man.
Looks like you've corrupted the boot loader and bricked your phone.
Did you try entering recovery mode?
There is no CWM for this model yet so you are not going to get the stock ROM easily. Did you try using the warranty?
See the the forum on how to unbrick the 6589 phone.......and hope for the best....

I had already submit my phone to service center but now its 22 days passed and i don't received my phone. Yesterday the said that they are changing the circuit board of my phone and i will received my phone near about 30th of this month. But i am not sure about that because the are saying me this thing from last 3 weeks. I need your help can you please provide me the rom image for zen 701hd for future which can be made with the help of droid tool 2.4.6. I am attaching a tutorial file for your help that i was found on net.

Canvas 4 stock rom is better.. but Zen 701HD stock rom is far better then that of A116 HD

I am downloading will let you know once flashed, Not sure they will have Andriod 4.3
because as per release note they mentioned only "new camera App" let seee

just flashed the rom via SP tool no problem it was successful I was having a proximity sensor issue on the previous stock rom hope it gets resolved with this one

maybe the "proximity sensor issue" was what caused "vibrate every 45th second" feature of gravitybox not to work for me. it is erratic with the screen off (when the phone is held to the ear / proximity sensor covered). but, if the screen is 'on', it works at every 45 secs. (i moved the phone away from the ear around the 40 sec mark of every minute and checked.) the call connect/waiting/end vibrations are ok.
the "custom build version" of this seems to be the same as mine. anyway, pls. check & report - either here or on gb thread. also, post screenshot of the dialer. thanks.

I had no sudden battery drops.
Auto brightness works fine.
I don't know abt screen flickering since I never faced it. So might be fixed.
The only thing I think is that the new phone comes with new hardware ie the camera is different. That is why which ever custom Rom I install my camera don't work. Also in the release note they say that the new firmware is backward compatible with old CAMERA HARDWARE.

i have never had the screen fliker issue and dont see the problem on this rom either and guys as i have given this phone to my wife she wont allow me to flash any custom roms so i cant try any its just that i kinda briked one of her older phones so once i give it to her i cant try it and my main phone has changed as u can see on my sign .But i feel on using the moulinsky rom the proximity problem has been solved:good::laugh:

no bro its not a hardware problem.I have rooted my A27 successffuly but yeah after too many attempts. none of the method helped me, i used a ICS root batch file program. at 1st i was not successful with the batch file but one day i was trying again i put out my usb nd reinserted, woah!!! the magic happend!!

i want to know if it can be rooted by any Android apps i have tried many apps but none of them cant get the jobe done. mostly of them cant get the exploit. i mean what the hell nobody can make an app that can root this simple cheap smartphone? comeon xda devs answer me please!!

It can't easily rooted.
