[Q] notification ligth and qslide - AT&T LG Optimus G

Hi
I want to change the notification color cuz it is always red, I change it on whatsapp and Facebook but it allways red.
I'm using stock lg official jelly bean 4.1 I'm rooted and I have bootloader unlock but I love optimus UI.
I also wanna know why the qslide function only works with videos and quickmemo
The normal optimus g you can use it with internet app calculator and notes.

Since you are in the AT&T G forum, I'm going to assume you have an E970. If so, your choices of colors are red, red, and if you don't like those two, you can change it to red. Sorry but the E970s only have red led.

Notification Bar Color?

I'm curious, is there a way to make the notification bar black instead of the default blue, without custom ROMs (which don't exist yet)? I'm running the pre-rooted Gingerbread 2.3.3.
Edit: I don't mind editing whichever system file it is in to change the color, I'd just need some pointers as to where it is and how to go about doing it.
Holy crap did all those custom roms in the android development subforum disappear? I think one of the devs over there is specifically making a black bar theme for his rom

They are there, but none are for Gingerbread yet (There is one for GB, but I think the dev said something about he hasn't changed in graphical components yet). I'm not your average unintelligent impulsive user, fyi
Edit: Gah, I found one, (funkenblack) guess I derped and looked over it
Eclipse is black, someone posted screenshots on one of the pages somewhere between all the 'do I need to be rooted to use this' posts

I'd love just a slightly upgraded status bar done in black with black and white icons. Don't wanna do a full theme upgrade or ROM since I like my current layout.

I have successfully changed the status bar of my Droid x2 to black. I will be attempting to post a guide on this as soon as the site allows me to.

[Q] LED Colours

Hey. Is there a hack or perhaps an app to get all the LED colours working on the Atrix? Thanks.

which led? the notification one? if so use light flow from the market.
Yep I think OP is wanting to know more about an App like light flow myself...

You can use the "sky blue" color now with Light Flow, that hasnt always been available.
With the next build of CM7 you will be able to use all the colors too, directly from CM Settings.

hi, nice keyboard picker. would have been nice if that aroma installer actually could display the final result. I had to flash it a couple of times until I got it right and if I had that option maybe I had time to check out other combinations too.

i wouldn't call it imposible. picture this: an app made by you running directly from android. you can select everything as you like and preview as you like. you can even select a custom background of your own (how cool is that), then, after you have selected everything, that app generates the zip, and you flash it.plus, it gets better, the app can have updates with new keyboard styles and everything. ofcorse this would require more programming, but you could eventually even add that app in the playstore and if it gets popular you can have it work for other devices as well.
edit: I would like to set a purple background that would have the purple color, yahoo's purple since I mainly use it for messaging. also a background lightblue skype color would be nice.
edit2: btw I think there's an error on the Auto-Correct selection, the first two options have identical description.
edit3: for anyone that would like a custom wallpaper to the keyboard, I presume you can do that, entering the zip file and photoshoping files found in this folder with the ones you like. TNi605AnyDPISamsungIMEAroma.zip\kbbg\redbullbg\res\

I can add common app colors if you'd like as far as an app. .um mm don't really want to get into that lol. .and there is no typo.. one says with "short press delay" and the other says "stock press delay"
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda app-developers app
you're right, no typo. concerning the colors, no need for extra options for me, I will install photoshop and modify that redbull theme to my liking. again, great job. thanks. but concerning the users that don't want to spend time into photoshop, here's a thing you can do, see if you can do another kind of installer, one that has best combinations, so that no mater what combination of colors you choose, you're always ending with an awesome result. I ended up with really weird results for example when selecting purple twice.
edit: something's missing from the keyboard. I flashed the s4white keyboard before flashing this one and I think this is the reason why transparency doesn't work for the background. when I select the totally transparent background, the result is a black one. even though i checked, the files contained in the transparent nebula theme are indeed transparent. how can I fix this?
edit2: wait, actually it is transparent, just that there are certain apps that place a black background beneath the keyboard

Lol the best combinations. . Everyone likes different things and if, for instance, I put purple background, black text and black keys and someone chooses those options it won't look good.. but if they choose what I laid out for a request.. The purple/silver theme.. it should look pretty good
Yea the background with transparency all relates to certain apps.. so apps that call theme.holo will be transparent but if they call theme.holo.light or an app has a certain custom color it will call those.. There is no way, I think, I would be able to fix this unless you modify all the apps and that is not going to happen:thumbup:

well its possible... perhaps its Android 4.4 and their theme coloured icons?
I'm pretty sure its not, and the screen shot Sony put up was off another device running their beta update of Album.. so thats all they could muster. They don't seem to have the 'vetting' or the beta testing process of their so called UPDATES all that well sorted out..
But i've been known to be wrong before... in fact if you speak to my wife she'll have more than a word to say about that...
Lol....I hope it is not for android 4.4...some ppl find it nice but I dont find it nice......i prefer the status bar with color tho...
Complete white status icons would be schweeet. I don't like colors on my status bar. It's "should" (IMO) be incredible minimalistic.

Notification light changer?

Hey guys, so far I am really happy with my S4. I have no complaints but one, the notification light. Dear god Samsung couldn't have possibly used a worse color. Its such a dark blue you can't even see it unless its very dark in the room you are in. I really want to change the color of the light but all of the apps have problems. I have Xposed installed and working and wanam running too. Is there any way I can change the color of the notification to like white or something?

That my friend is a darn good question. I used it and loved it on my Galaxy Nexus, but went to the HTC One from there and the light options were very limited. I have yet to test it out on my S4. But it seem the guy above me on this post likes it..I do believe there is a Lite version that you can test out as well!

I've used it on my S4 and loved it, you can pretty much set any type of notification to any color of led (granted if that color is supported by our device) you can also, if my memory serves me right, change the duration and and frequency of the led.

S4 has an RGB led for notifications. When I used lightflow, the best colors were, Red, Green, Blue, Purple, White, Pink. Yellow kind of worked, and some of the lighter colors, auqua, etc looked like white. It works good, if memory serves me correct, sometimes it would not reset it's notification, but other than that, it was pretty good.
