hello guys ,,, I need your help in the biggest problem of my life right now ..
i have a samsung galaxy s4 which had 4.2.2 jelly bean
i tried to root it but it fell from the table while flashing using odin .. and the usb cable disconnected from the phone ...
now i have "firmware upgrade encountered an issue . please select recovery mode in kies & try again." on screen
i tried to open samsung kies -> tools -> firmware upgrade and initialisation and inserting the details of the phone but at the end it fails ..
please help me guys as fast as u can ! and sorry for my bad english .

I bought my first android phone ( sgs II with 4.0.4 on it ) , and I can't find an answer to my problem anywhere ...
I can't ROOT it .
Kies only sees my phone in normal mode , does not see it in download mode . Odin3 does not turn yellow in download mode , it is just blue ( but it gives me the " <ID:0/008> Added!! message " .
I tried reinstalling and updating Kies , I manually installed the USB drivers ... i tried this on 2 computers , on all the ports .. it does not work

Kies will never find your phone in download mode, its not designed for it. That is what Odin is for. Also make sure you are not running Kies(and all of its processes) while running Odin. They don't like eachother.
Also turn on Debugging before you go to download mode.

Hi GUYS.! i Had updated my Galaxy s2 To 4.0.4 ( XXLQ5 ) and my cell fone was SOFT BRICKED.! anythin i download was crashin.. last nite me and my Big Bro ( thealtaf ) were tryin to fix this problem and finally a Big Thanks to my Big Bro he just fixed it by Flashin ( i9100XXKKI3) stock firmware.. We've Flashed PIT,PDA,CSC And Phone.. Everythin was gud n nw i am runnin 2.3.5 Gingerbread.. i am gonna update it to 4.0.4 later after confirmin it.. whatever you gonna Flash please Dont Flash ( XXLQ5 ).. .!! i Made a Mistake and luckily i pull out myself from it.!!

i made a mistake while trying to flash ICS rom using odin while i was connecting usb modem and odin stuck, after i disconnected the tab it gives me this msg "firmware upgrade encounterd an issue please select recovery mode in kies and try again"
so now i can't deal with this isuue please help me

i was trying to solv the problem of bypassing sim activation cuz i am living outside the US and i don't need LTE

now its completely dead, i can not even switch it on or putting it in download mode
HI, have recently purchase a Smasung Grand from China Unicom, brought it back to native Singapore and tried to update firmware using Odin 3.07 with and .tar file I9082XXAMC8_I9082TMNAMC1_TMN.
Started working for a couple of seconds before the process stopped and my phone is stuck on the 'Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again' page.
I have tried plugging in to recover but Kies doesn't recognise the device and it is not appearing.
I do need help on this! Anyone with solutions please do help!!:crying::crying::crying:

I messed up the touchscreen firmware( of s5830i) by dialling #*2663*# .. the update failed ..and now the touch is not working..i think androidscreencast is the only method by which i can get my phone back !!!
but it requires USB debugging to be turned on !!!
is there any rom for galaxy ace s5830i which have usb debugging enabled by default ....please help me....
i want my phone back
....
Or taking it to the service center is the last option..my phone is still in the warranty period !!!!

First off all sorry for my bad english,
my s2 it had a stock rom and i try it to change to custom rom
my s2 haved a original recovery <a3> first i have a cwm flashed with mobil odine the flash was stable true ( .tar )
after all my phone stay only in samsung galaxy s2 mode its not opening, i was trying again flash in recovery but its dont enter to recovery only 2x samsung galaxy s2 start screen and stay so..
what can i do ? i hear about omapflash but i dont know what it is exactly
edit : my phone have a speacial hardware problem my pc and odin dont read the phone in download mode , pc say unknown apparatus
my mom had to a s2 i try with him to download mode pc read it, but my s2 cant be readed i dont know why i tried with another pc my mom's s2 readed, my s2 not be readed, so pls dont recommend ; install a new rom with odin" thx,
