i rooted my s3 following the xda guide ( i have already done it once before on my note 2).
then i installed the S4 Revolution Rom.
i had some issues with the mobile network not working on it and then i decided to use my custom CWM recovery which i made.
but before that i uses Triangle away to reset my binary counter.
i succesfully retrieved my recovery rom but the same issue was there i.e mobile network not working and still showed emergency mode.
after that i uninstalled my root (through SU) n then tried to flash official firmware through odin but couldnt make it .. then i also tried to run it through zip but still there was an error and i cannot install official firmware on it .
now my phone has gone into emergency firmware recovery mode and is asking to recover using kies.
which i'm not able to do.
please help me!

hey guys, I was running my S3 on the paranoid android(2.99) just fine but then I tried to flash 2.54 over my 2.99 install through TWRP. It flashed fine but then it was stuck on the PA bootscreen so then I tried restoring a backup through TWRP but it said no backups found even though I made 3, i later realised they were in a different folder and I couldn't get them.
Anway, desperate to get a working phone, I downloaded the I9300XXELLA firmware and flashed it via ODIN, it failed so I disconnected my phone and now it says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue, select recovery mode through kies". I cannot go into recovery or download mode.
Is there anyway to get my phone to work or have I successfully created a paperweight?
The phone was bought from India. If I need to provide any information, let me know, I'd love having my phone back.
First step is to source a USB recovery Jig to get to download mode .
That fails its a service centre .

Fail to even read the basic faqs and guides is more likely to brick your phone .

I have a rooted galaxy s2, I was on a custom rom and decided to restore the stock one. then I flashed siya kernel because it was shutting down randomly. then I opened superSU app after it updated automatically on the market. it asked to update (and something about binary) choosing normal update or using cmw or twrp if oono a custom rom. I chose the cmw or twrp by accident and said that if the phone didn't reboot into rrecovery I have to do it manually
the phone **** down and when I try to turn it on it doesn't. the GALAXY S2 logo shows up then it turns black . I also tried to boot it into recovery and it didn't work either. so what's the problem and how can I fix it
Download mode work? Flash stock with odin
Or flash siyah in odin then boot to recovery and do a factory reset

odin can't recognize the phone
even though I installed the usb drivers and kies
I guess it's because I can't enable usb debugging since the phone doesn't turn on
any other idea?
Check out @Hopper8 thread for odin trouble
No need for usb debugging for an Odin flash. As andrewwright said, click the link in my signature and follow the troubleshooting steps.

i have s3. i rooted the phone then tried to install flash miui v5 via with but failed -i guess- because phone is lack of cwm. so i installed cwm but the phone wouldnt boot to recover mode, instead there was always original recovery mode. so i tried again and again but still anything change. then i tried to unlock bootloder with a app named ez lock i guess i did it but after something my phone went to download mode by itself and there is nothing else. top left there is no version info. just download mode with a green android guy. i removed battery and take it back, and tried to open download mode again there was infos top left screen this time. but when i tried to enter recovery mode it just load something in cwm recovery then there is again download mode without infos top left.
now im downloading stock rom, hope it'll work. is there anything else i can do guys? please help me, im not good at this stuff..
Tried to Flash stock firmware ?
sent from the state where marijuana is NOT illegal !!
Bootloader ??? do you actually have a I9300 as bootloader is not locked .
please help me, im not good at this stuff.. That would be due to not bothering to read the faqs and guides first .
My guess is that you have bricked your phone and need a paid for service repair .
i tried to flash to stock rom with odin, but somehow it failed to flash :S then phone stucked at a screen that says "firmware upgrade encountered an issue. please select recovery mode in kies & try again. then i found this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2261153 and my phone opened.
i have a question though, why didnt cwm open in the phone? if it had opened i would've install miui
Things went wrong because you didn't read or follow the many guides on XDA that other members wrote to help you. Guessing what to do can be very expensive.
CWM didn't open because you flashed in onto a stock ROM, which immediately restored a stock recovery.

Hi, my galaxy grand was rooted and had the Resurrection Remix custom ROM, but now I want to reset my binary counter, unroot and flash the stock ROM. I started by downloading the .tar.md5 file (stock ROM), then I loaded it in Odin v3.09 as the AP (which is the PDA option but changed its name I think) and flashed, but it says fail at the beginning and now I only see "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again". I already installed Kies and tried this, but after a really long time when the progress bar reached 70%, it said Dll load fail and this was the second time I do it through Kies, but no avail and yes, I'm pretty sure that I have the ADB drivers installed. I flashed CWM touch recovery and it works good, so now I can enter Download mode and CWM mode (or whatever it's called) only. I want to flash back to the Stock ROM which I already have, but can't figure it how to solve this issue.
Thank you.
I really need help with this..
Thank you.

EDIT: Request close. I solved it. Apparently, it was my bad, I downloaded the firmware of GT-I9082 while my phone is GT-I9082L (though I bought it here from Egypt not Latin America).
