Can you help?
Recently when viewing sms in conversation mode, the sorting is messed up.
It is sorting by date, but my sent items show just the time and are all listed from the top.
Received are logn format and seem okay.
So two formats in conversation mode seems odd.
This quite a pain.
Has anyone seen this before?
I've searched around without any luck.
Stock rom, no recent updates, etc...
Just weird.
Any ideas?

So my note is about a month old now, and after flashing the Sauron RC VI , I never really tried using the S Pen with S Memo, I tried today and it would not work within S memo, I can navigate with the pen, however whenever I open the application and try to write something on the screen it would not show up. I closed the memo and it was saved, and in the saved memo I see what I was trying to write, I try using the eraser and it wont work wither, it recognized if I touch the settings button inside the app, but nothing shows up while I'm trying to write something. I think its S memo problem or something, any clues?

same problem the pen withs in everything else but smemo
I had the same issue once I started flashing roms. I ended up doing a full wipe, factory reset and starting over. You could try to do a nandroid back up first, then full wipe, then restore the backup. Won't hurt.
Some roms don't support any spen apps.

Figure out what's wrong with the phone someone had flash korean base rom after I flash the stock bell it was fine wooooohooo

Bumping an old thread. I have just noticed I have the same issue. Running a rooted Rogers ICS ROM. S-pen will do a screenshot, will open up s-memo, works perfectly when editing photos, and works in any 3rd party app. However no writing shows up in s-memo or s-note. The phone recognizes that I am writing something but nothing shows.
This thread is the ONLY mention of this issue and no solution was ever mentioned. Any ideas?
What screen protector did you install?
If you remove the pen button, there is a screw under there that adjusts sensitively.
No screen protector at all. Button is not the issue. Ink just does not show up when drawing in s memo, s memo lite, and s note only. But pen writing is detected. However if I write something in s memo lite and save it, then open up s memo the saved memo can now be seen. Magically the writing appears.
Figured it out myself. I had recently modified the build.prop to change all I717R to I717. Must have affected the s-pen lib files which were tied to a I717R device. Changing everything back to I717R restored my s-pen functions 100%.

My completely stock GS3 Mini (i8190) running 4.1.1. Jelly Bean experiences a lot of lag while typing.
Specifically, when I am using Whatsapp along with the SwiftKey keyboard. The keyboard responds slowly to my touches and I often have to slow down/stop completely in order for it to catch up with what I have been typing. This usually results in quite a few errors, and makes typing difficult.
I've noticed that outside whatsapp, Swiftkey works very well, with no lag at all. This includes in the browser, Gtalk, and Go SMS Pro. Weirdly enough, typing in whatsapp is easy enough when I use Swype or the Default Keyboard.
It's only the whatsapp + Swiftkey combination that seems to break everything. Ironically, this is what I intend to use my device for most of the time.
What can I do to diagnoze / fix this?

Hello all! I have a little issue, just bought the HDC Galaxy S4 Legend recently. Great phone.
The problem I have is that, when I receive a call from someone (even though they're saved in my phone contacts, in the phone memory, their name doesn't appear, but the name appears fine in whatsapp and when they text me and all i receive is the number).
I've tried various roms, settings etc, but no joy. Right now i'm using android 4.2.3 fluffy rom (have attached a pic of the software and kernel. Which seems to be the most stable and with air gesture etc. Which works fine apart from the one issue.
I'm on T-mobile UK. And have also tried turning google/other syncs off etc, basically everything. If anyone could help me with this, it would be greatly appreciated.

I am hoping someone can assist me in resolving some bugs that have developed on my Galaxy S4
I am using a GT-I9505 with the default 4.2.2 samsung rom. I have rooted but never changed the rom.
Just recently the follow things have been occurring and I am hoping they can be resolved.
1. Selecting a default 'open with' application is never remembered. I get prompted and can select your always use the chosen app but the next time I am asked again. I thought that perhaps there was a limit to the number of apps that can be remembered. However I believe that associations that had been working previously have now stopped working.
2. My email app, the default samsung /android email app, occasionally wants to announce loudly and annoyingly when I select an email. It does this inconsistently and I cannot find any setting that might enable or disable it.
3. I am sure there was something else but I have gone blank
