How to enable HD in YouTube v5? - Motorola Droid RAZR

On my RAZR MAXX with ArtMod v4.3 I have YouTube app v5......, but there's no mode for enabling HD videos
I want to see HD videos with HDMI!.
Anyone knows?

When the Video is being played in landscape/fullscreen mode,
Tap the Upper right side (3 dots menu) key/button
You might find the stream quality settings there!

Razr doesn't support HD Video support as per as I know

720p Youtube

Has anyone been able to successfully stream youtube videos at 720p or greater? I've seen it done on the HTC Thunderbolt and the EVOLUTION 3D,now if a single core can do it,why can't our dual cores?

You using the youtube app or via webpage? I have been able to do HQ with no issues via 3G.
I am trying to view them via webpage, it is very choppy
Is it recommended to use the app or the website?

YouTube 1080p

Does anyone know if RAZR can play 1080p Youtube or only 720p?
Razr easily plays H.264 1080p.
So don't worry about Youtube. But with you qHD screen, you shoul use 720, or 480. Except if you want to stream on a TV, obviously.
Edit: And keep on fighting, Greece.
No. 720p yes, 1080p, no. It stutters like mad.
Are you talk via browser or the app? I don't think there's a choice within the app.

Both actually. Since you mention it, what is the resolution used by the app and are there any other apps that gives you the option to choose resolutions?
720p max in YouTube -- which looks great. 1080p is not necessary.

Pop PIP TV thingy???

How do I get it to work on my Sprint variant?
You have to play a video through the stock video player and there is a dual Window looking icon click that. YouTube videos do not work with it. Streaming does I have heard.

Jeallybean and Video Playback

Hey guys
Any news on if Tegra 2 will be updated to work with Jeallybean and allow video playback that does not stutter on the P7510?

You mean to tell me Netflix and video streaming from network works with out issues no stutter or lag? I had to downgrade to a earlier version of Cyangenmod 9 to be able to play videos again because when i instead 10.1 no video play back would work with out lag or stuttering. I was told this had to do with the fact the Tegra 2 drivers were not updated to support jeallybean and that is why video playback wouldn't work. I tried MX player in the past but still had the same issue.

YouTube quality issue on xperia z ultra c6806

Hi, does anyone else having the same issue as what I'm having? Youtube quality isn't as good on this device compared to galaxy note 3 or HTC one.
Videos play smoothly but the quality and the sharpness of the videos seems to blur and not as sharp and I already set the youtube setting to HD.

Download boat browser or another preferred browser with support for flash and watch 1080p without a problem.
If that's not an option, get the youtube mod allowing for 1080p streaming. Although I couldn't get it to work it might get fixed soon.
Turn off X-reality also, it kills YouTube.
