Bluetooth issue (SuperNexus 2.0 M1 i9300/S3) - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi!
I just flashed SuperNexus 2.0 M1 into my Galaxy S3 and I REALLY love it! Fastest and easiest ROM I've ever tried. Just one little thing. When I pair the phone to a BT-headset it doesn't work on some headsets and where it does work I can't switch back to phone.
For instance, if I pair the phone with my car stereo and answear a call, I can't switch back to talk from the phone. And I read something about that I could flash another modem to the phone and it will work. Read the last post here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2153728
Has anyone encountered the same problem and solved it? If I'm going to test with another modem how should I do and what shall I choose?
It's too bad, because I really love the idea of the stock Android experience on my Galaxy S3.

Hi all,
Thanks for reading my post.
I have been facing strange problem with my SGA. Phone seldom vibrates for any type of notification or incoming calls. Even after it has been set to "Always" vibrate in settings.

[Q] Wich rom and kernel for the S2?

Hello guys,
I own a samsung galaxy s2 right now and i got the following installed on it:
Android version: 2.3.5
Baseband version: I9200XXKI3
Kernel: 2.6.35.7-I9100XXKI3-CL577579 [email protected] #Supercore 2.0
Build: DarkyROM2 XXKI3 Base
Now i wonder wich is the best one i could use for the S2? I see so many roms and kernels.
Another thing in this version they changed the camara and on my idea its slower and darker. Where can i get a better one or the default camara.
Sincerely thanks

ROM is a matter of taste. There is no "Best ROM ever". There is only "Best ROM that suits my taste".
You want some of the (GOOD) samsung features on a custom ROM that is fast? (like h/w accelerated browser, cam app). Try GingerMOD Vanilla
You want pure aosp rom with minimal (really minimal) apps that is fast?
Try Oxygen ROM.
You want freshness, and innovation?
Try CyanogenMod 7
Still lotsa players out there like Cognition, Villain, Galnet, etc etc,
Try them all and see which one is best for u!

Bluetooth and Camera on CM9

Hi, Got a Player 5.0 on Ebay (YP-G70CW/XEU), where the camera does not work, but also just found out bluettoth does not work, as I use bluetooth headphones, I turn bluettoth ona and aftera few mins it times out, also klies does not connect (my galaxy tab 7 works fine and samsung phone), wifi works ok, so really want to put it back to its original, so in effect I am going backwards, but I know the Camera and BT will work, can anybody point me in te right direction for an easy walkthrough on what to do, I know i'll need the original (gingerbraed formware) and a kernel on top of this, but I am really confused by all teh different mods.

Just head over to the Dev section and select one of the many GB roms available for the player and flash. Looks like you have a INT version so flash INT version of a GB rom and you are good to go.
Hi, thought that might be the case, I guess I'll need odin installed, the right SGP drivers, and then start the SGP in download mode, connect and use odin to flash the stock GB rom. Is it just the ROM I need then, and woudl I need to wipe/format the SGP so there would be no legacy stuff (I only use it for music/video playback), so really its the same process as if I was going from Gingerbread to ICS, anyways thanks very much, I'll get some research done!!!

[cm9 rc2] [sgs3] Plugging in headphones or headset mutes mic on calls

I have seen this problem reported on different devices and versions of cm but no fixes that I can find, at least none with instructions.
Plugging in any headphones/headset, even during a call, mutes the microphone. This cannot be unmuted without a reboot!
I've read about an LFB modem but I don't know how to check what modem I am using or how to flash a different one.
I'm obviously not knowledgable but I would appreciate it if somebody could enlighten me as I love the ROM but this makes it a pain in the arse to use. Even if the reply is [link to solution] "learn to search you ***********ing noob" I've searched but clearly not well enough.
Thanks

update
Found out how to flash the modem to LFB (through rom manager under codeworx's stuff for samsung phones)
But problem still persists. Sound is transmitted until headset plugged in, then nothing. Calling back doesn't work, requires a reboot.
any luck on getting this working?
Update
I ended up biding my time and installing nightly roms as they came out. Now on cm9 stable release and it works fine.

[Q] How do I stop my phone thinking it's a tablet

This is slightly bizarre but my Samsung Galaxy S i9000 believes it is a tablet. I know this because when I downloaded Whatsapp, it said: Note: Tablets are currently not supported. Furthermore when I downloaded a game called Indestructible it started off the game as if the phone was a tablet (tablet starts with a different car to phones). Honestly, I'm quite confused.
Before all of this happened I had Icy Glitch v14 kernel flashed onto my phone and my phone had worked perfectly. Then after a few months it went into 2 bootloops; I recovered from the first one but then I couldn't reboot into recovery so I gave it to a man who fixed it - I don't know what he did but he fixed my phone and returned it to it's stock settings. After that I re-flashed Icy Glitch v14 kernel and my Samsung Galaxy S worked like before, except for the phone thinking it was a tablet.I then flashed a Semaphore kernel to see if it would make any difference but it didn't. Any Ideas on how I could persuade my phone it is a phone again??????
