Could anyone post or attach me the Xperia S stock launcher please for use with The Great Sega v1.1 Rom?
It is based on Leaked 4.0.4 rom.
I see that most Xperia S launchers doesnt work in ICS or this rom.. So am requesting the stock one (without any mods) which would run on ICS (eg: for use with my rom mentioned above).
Thanks in advance!

Folks,
For all those souls who are waiting for a ported Xperia Keyboard for CM9.. here goes nothing.
Download the Xperia S Keyboard from this link. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1725050 Flash it via CWM like a normal zip. Reboot. you will have the new Xperia Keyboard with S features.. enjoy
Here is the direct link - Thanks to Till-Kruspe
I tested this with my Neo V with CM9 and worked like charm. Please thank Till-Kruspe.
This should mostly work on all ICS Modded ROMs. Please try at your own risk.
No FC or any problems with it ? I want to try it on my girlfriend's xperia p..

Can confirm that this also works (manual install with TWRP) on Lenovo A2010.
I'm now experimenting with updater_script to make it installable almost everywhere.

not really. seem like it has problem with music app don't worry, open v3 via 7zip and delete semcmusic.apk
After that flash v1 and v2 first, then reboot to system, then back to cwm and flash v3
Other bug people report that when you holding power buton it restarts the phone. I don't hace X ray to check so test by yoursefl
Anyway just make nandroid backup to return if sth happen to your phone
Enjoy and Happy flashing
OK thanks
Hello everyone.
I have updated my Xsola from GB (2.3.7) to Sony's official Rom 4.0.4 (ICS) a long time ago. And I rooted it. And from that time until now I flashed a lot of useful modes and ports (like BE2, Xperia Z Media Apps, Xperia Z phone app and ...). And I thought my phone is Odexed until now. Now I read some things about Odexed and Deodexed Roms, and I checked my "system/app" folder and I found out that there isn't any ".odex" files and there is only ".apk" files and inside them there is "classes.dex": Exactly what it named Deodex Rom! but I never never tried to Deodex my phone/rom.
Is this mean that my Rom was Deodexed from first?? Is this mean that Sony official Roms/Updates are deodexed already?
I checked my friend's phone (SE Xperia mini) and I saw that there isn't any .odex files in system/app just like me! (His phone isn't rooted and his Rom is official 4.0.4 just like me).
I'm confused! what's the answer? Are All of Sony official Roms deodexed, or what?
I understood from different forums that "All the official stock Roms should be Odexed". Is it true or I'm wrong?
Please help me find that out.
Thanks in advance.

because of Speed! I have many problems with my little RAM and I have heard that deodexed roms are more slow than odexed ones.
Well Sde 3.5 is Fast Enough. But lacks Looks.
so i made these mods to make it look better. ;p
This pack includes 2 files.
1. Framework/System Ui
2. System apps : Phonebook,Conversations,Camera,TextInput.uxp
Changes made in Patch:
1. Lockscreen
2. Systemui
3. Framework
4. SemcGenericUxp
5. Clockopia font
6. Power Menu
Download The Desired file and Flash it in Cwm/Twrp. (Advised to Remove .Odex files..just in case ;p )
If you are pleased with the Mod i made, Hit Thanks. !
Ps: Moving The Lockscreen Notifications to Bottom, results in Fc...so ill leave a Better Mind (Well a less free mind) to do the port

I report a forced closure of notification Status bar, and (but it is my personal opinion) I hate transparencies... Better and faster solid UI

I also have this problem
But there is already SDE with xperia go firmware which looks like xperia s ui because they are 2012XPERIA . I have a little idea for You. I can't do this but maybe some of You can. Let's find SDE 3.0 (xperia go version), install it(it's ftf so usingq flashtool) and when let's backup system and replace apps and framework files with SDE 3.0(xperia mini version) . If it works , we will have fast xperia go(s ui) firmware on our x8. My idea is because sde 3.0(xperia go version) is laggy and sometimes systemu reboot. SDE 3.0(xperia mini) works great. And if it will work, my next idea is to compare this rom to minicm7 for nAa's kernel 06 and make sde compatible with 06kernel.
Thanks

No, this won't help. Xperia go one is slow because firmware heavy and need more juice. For example: lockscreen need to be always in ram, phone app is horrible heavy etc.. New xperia mini one is faster because firmware is lighter. Btw. new rom has the same base as xperia go one, look into build.prop there are still lines to keep in memory xperia s lockscreen, sms app is the same ect.
