I have bought a jiayu g4 basic phone, I'm having problems getting the 3G to work, I have an O2 sim in and a Vodafone sim in it, none of them will work on 3G, I have tried switching from one to the other in sim management but it will still not connect to the internet, 3G is enabled,
sorry if this post is in the wrong place but I couldn't find anywhere else to put it,

Hi everybody.
I purchased a unlocked gsm optimus t (t-mobile) in USA last week. Well, in my country we have a 850/1900 wcdma band (it seems the same at USA), but, i can´t conect to 3G network.
Searching for the phone specs, i find it the optimus t work in 1700/2100 network, it´s that correct??. If the answer is yes, it is possible to change wcdma frequency in this phone??.

Pd: I read if i install a correct firmware for my country (Chile) is possible to change it.
I don't think so. There are 2 versions of the phone. I've bought mine in Chile, and no matter what ROM I use, I still can connect to the 3G network.
However, I think you should keep your phone and wait for Nextel or VTR networks to become operational, which will work on those bands.
You should see those 3G networks doing a network search on your mobile.

I bougth an Note5 F6, it´s a dual sim phone with 6" screen and Android ICS. In "Enginner Mode" and next BandMode option appears UMTS Mode, WCDMA-IMT-2000, WCDMA-PCS-1900. Does it means that phone works on this frecuencies? If so...why doesn´t phone detect any network? My my last phone does, but when i set sim card on Note5 not. I´m interested on 1900 3G network. Thanks!

Canvas HD is not working in USA. Tried AT&T SIM. Tried everything like changing the APN settings, but didn't quite work.
I read somewhere that it's a problem with the frequency bands, i.e., this phone supports 900/1800 and 3G HSDPA 2100; and AT&T has 2G 850/1900, I guess.
So, my question is: will my phone support this SIM or not? Any hack I could try?
*Really tensed right now, phone screen cracked too the day I landed*

it wont work...the gsm bands that canvas 3 supports are only 900/1800..usa needs 850/1900...and the 3 g band is 1700/2100 in usa...the canvas 3 is set to 2100...so the phone is gonna be useless.a piece of brick might be more useful.i had the same problem.i am still in usa.my canvas 3 is dead as a bat.wrote to the company..no real response...send it back if you can and next time buy a quad band..i learnt the hard way...
I bought a Jiayu g2f phone. After one week usage the WCDMA went wrong, util yesterday it was still good.
Now only possible to use the phone 2G in both slots. (GSM mode, max speed: EDGE) Other case: only emergency calls accepted...not able to join to 3G network.
I don't know why. If somebody know any fix please share with me. Possible to die the 3G module inside the phone or ...?

Last month my dad gave me as a gift a LG L70 bought from the US. I live in Romania and It was locked on MetroPCS, but I went to a local shop here in Romania and managed to unlock it. It works very nice and smooth, with one single problem: I can't manage to get the 3G/4G network to work on it. Everytime I open up the mobile data connection it remain stuck on 2G (showing E). Any ideas how I can get this to work?
The frequencies for the 3G network here in Romania, for my carrier are: 2100 and 900, but 900 is also used for the 2G network. The phone supports 900 Mhz and also the frequency for 4G, but both the 3G and the 4G won't work.
