The flash counter in download mode only counts how many times you flashed with Odin. It doesn't count how many times you flashed a rom in recovery with twrp or cwm.

well its what flash counter is, there is no possible way of ever telling how many rom flash's you have done unless you kept track yourself

My luck is very bad. I failed to flash my 9100, and now I can not turn on my phone. No matter I press on which keys, the screen keeps black. And I connect it to my computer bu it can not be detected. I have tried the Counter Reset Patch to go to downloading mode, but failed. So what should I do now? If I sent it back to Samsung Service , how much will they charge me? Or If I can fix it by myself ? Who can help me? Thanks very much..
First, your luck isn't very bad, computers don't have luck, if you've bricked your device it's because you've messed something up not because you're unlucky.
Second, what exactly did you do to flash your phone? You haven't given anywhere near enough information for anyone to help you hence the lack of replies.

As far as I know I am the first. U know under almost all conditions u can fix it by downloading mode , but now I can not enter that mode. So I am unlucky.
1 tip
Try charging the battery using another mobile or external battery charger. Then connect. By my experience usb drivers of android dont easily get damaged or lost until u ruin the rom heart and soul.

What did you actually flash? Firmware, Kernel or are you trying to Root your phone?
If you can go to Download Mode then flash Stock Firmware. To be safe, charge battery to at least 70% before flashing via Odin3 v1.85. Provide more details so it would be easier for others to help....cheers

That's a forced download mode. I've only ever seen this occur to people who attempt to flash I9100 firmwares to I9100G phones. Flash a firmware appropriate to your model, and it should fix it.

Yes, you can. Your model number is printed on the label under your battery. Once you know your model number, download the appropriate firmware and flash.

Yes, I usually imply the reverse when I type this, but forgot this time.
So the thing is I'm using ROOTBOX ICS rom, and because I'm willing to gift my phone to a cousin I did a Factory Reset, then my phone turn off and when it tries to wake up, after Samsung logo, it makes like a blink on the screen... every 3 seconds.
I can't enter CWM Recovery using VolUp+Menu+Power, however I can enter Download Mode using VolDown+Menu+Power.
So guys, give me a solution here please.
Thank you so much.

I've had that problem already. Check the thread link below and get the stock firmware for your device and flash it with Odin.

If you don't want to flash a stock ROM, root, and flash a custom ROM again, you can use one of odin flashable files for custom kernels, not all have one but you can check (Dorimanx for example)
