I am currently on the trickdroid 5.3.0 ROM on my AT&T HTC One, and I have been using it for the past 4-5 months or so. The battery life has been mediocre at best because I never gotten past 10 hrs of use per charge. I am wondering what is the best 4.3 ROM currently out there that has the best battery life?
Cleanrom 6.0 gets decent battery life.

I was getting around 2.5 hours of SOT, after rooting, getting TB, Greenify, I can finally pass 4 hours of SOT. With 3G all day, sync work and personal mail.
ARHD Sense
I have had great experience with ARHD Sense and stock kernel, around 16 hrs of normal usage. :good:
Stock rom

Greenify
android revolution hd especially with power saver on it will last me all day even under heavy use. Also make sure you download greenify you can install any rom but if you have all these apps running in the background and wakelocks you're screwed.

I was just wondering based on everyone's experience (especially those who have tried many different ROMs). Can you also mention how many ROMs you've tried?
I used to use stock ICS with all T-Mo bloatware and battery life is just horrible. Now, that I've rooted and use Fast Amaze ROM without all the bloatware and I can see a much better battery life. So, I am just wondering what would be the ROM you'd recommend that has the best battery life...
Thank you for the helps

I'm with glacier. But probably the best Rom on standby is energy. I left it on for around 4 hours during school still at 100% believe it or not

Ditto to Glacier guy, with eggydrums' great battery life on Energy, I get the worst battery life with that rom and great battery life on ARHD.

And i forgot to mention... I want an icy sandwich roms. Lol.
As for standby, i got my phone to stay on 100% for the first 3 hrs. But, yeah, who let their phone on standby

I've tried every rom and always com back to capcomce super fast awesome battery I've had 100% battery after 2-3 hours of light use couple calls couple google searches. Great rom.

I say make your own "rom". Learn what it is that devs do, use trial and error to figure out what tweaks make a real difference(read a roms tweaks, do research into how to make those changes).. remove bloat, modify the build.prop.. the best rom is the one you build yourself. And you learn a lot more too.
But that is just my opinion.

I have been swapping out phones like mad lately. In the last 6 months I have gone from the OG EVO, to the photon, then the s2, gnex and now EVO.LTE. everyone I rooted. Had the EVO one day, looking for recommendations for a Rom. On my s2 blazer was awesome. Got 24 hrs plus on battery. Gnex couldn't even come close. Anyone have a recommendation for a Rom with great battery life?
Thanks!

A good recommendation would be mean rom. While it might not hav ethe best battery right now I can still get through a full day without charging. The reason i'd go with mean rom is cause I ran it on my evo 3d and it was perfect. It gets a lot of great updates and the support is amazing. It'll soon have the best battery and best features of any rom The link is my sig, enjoy
I am not rooted yet but I know viper was the first Rom out and he supports his Rom so strongly. He is also focused on battery life. You may wanna check that out.

The PkMn 5.0 build is pretty awesome too. Took it to about 36 hours before I got to 5%. About 2.5 hrs of talk and 3 hrs of screen on. Don't have a screen cap for that though. Sad face.

Very nice guys. Thank you. I like the phone a lot. I about 12 hrs yesterday. My first full day with it. I know.once the battery breaks in, it will be a little better. Getting 24+ hours would be great!
I also think sense is a little overboard. It looks nice, but is just too much. Need to thin it down a bit.

I also just got my EVO is there a Rom with the best performance like a noticeable improvement from stock even though stock is very nice!

Hey everyone, I am considering rooting and romming. As I've done with every phone I've had but I want to know what the batter life is like on non sense Roms like paranoid or cm etc.. Sense won't allow screen on time show so if you could post screen shots of that too that would be great. Thanks guys.

Maybe you can try a factory reset? It can be a time-consuming having to reinstall all the apps after that but at least you'll know you have a fresh start.

Same here. In fact, I get better stats than that.
With WiFi and Bluetooth on and several accounts set to automatically sync, I can get over 48 hours of battery life with light usage (under an hour of screen time). I typically get 5 - 6 hours of screen time with moderate usage. More if I keep the brightness down.
This phone has amazing battery life out of the box. I feel no need to change ROMs or kernels. That said, if a new ROM/kernel could increase my battery life by an additional 25% or more, I might give it a whirl.

I'm pretty sure you must be right cuz these are the best ROM and Kernel for the G2. It's a shame the both got discontinued. I have just one question. When I flashed the kernel after flashing the CleanROM it restored some of my old stuff from my carrier's default ROM like the boot animation, some framework icons and some app icons too.
I wanted to know if there's a way of flashing Wootever's kernel without his happening. I got no clue of how the kernel did this or where was this data stored. If you have any idea on this topic I and could provide me with some info it would be great. Thanks in advance.
