Need NVRAM.IMG for lenovo s820 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I have made a mistake trying to change a rom for my device (Lenovo s820).
I thought my phone was gone, but step by step I was able to bring it back to life.
Now I have a working rom and I set back the IMEI's, but I still have "no service".
After reading a lot, I understand that I need to recover my "NVRAM" and to do so, I need for somebody to send my a file called "NVRAM.IMG" which applies to my device.
I can't find this file anywhere on the net.
Can somebody please send me?
Thanks in advance

How do you apply it, I have the same problem.
The bat file is not working, it says cannot find adb.exe.
I put the adb.exe at system32 folder along with the dll files and still bat is not working

After JTAG, SIM Card Not Found!

Hey Guys..
So I have a LG - P698 (Optimus Link/Net Dual)
I had a custom ROM in it.. It was going well but then I saw that battery drains much faster in custom ROM.. so I tried reverting back to stock by using KDZ method.. I followed this guide : http://androidforums.com/threads/guide-flash-stock-rom-recover-bricked-lg-optimus-net-p690.852823/
But due to some error.. I can't recall it.. the phone got hard-bricked.. it didn't boot nor did go to emergency mode..
I gave it to a friend who had a RIFF JTAG Box.. and he fixed the boot and flashed again with the above link.. this time it flashed..
But thing is that after flashing, the network never came up.. It showed no SIM Card.. but the SIM was inserted.. I tried the SIM on my old HTC Gene and it worked.. But on the LG it showed No SIM Card..
The strange thing is that SIM Toolkit shows up in the menu and when I open it, it shows BSNL Portal(The Portal for BSNL in India)..
So I think that it detects the SIM.. but fails to contact the provider..
So what can I do?
Thanks in advance and sorry for the long post..
Hello my friend so probability you didn't back up the file where's is the ESN of your phone. So you need to write again. You need to fist this app:
1) Firstly write the ESN of your phone.
2) To do a note in the notes block from your PC with the next:
echo 'AT+EGMR=1,7,"IMEI_1"' >/dev/pttycmd1
echo 'AT+EGMR=1,10,"IMEI_2"' >/dev/pttycmd1
In "IMEI 1" YOU WRITE YOUR ESN. YOU DON'T ERASE THE quotes just erase the word IMEI 1.
(3) the file that you created (can give you the)
name you want) have fun with the memory of your
Android or a Micro SD, the joke is that the
Open in your device.
(4) low the ANDROID TERMINAL application
EMULATOR is totally free in playstore gone
(5) now opens your text file and copy the
first line from echo to cmd1, for that
just select the line and with the radio button
Please COPY or copy
6) on ANDROID TERMINAL EMULATOR, once
you open the app hits the line you copied and
push enter (on the digital keypad, just copy the)
text, no matter that there is a little character
in the application).
(7) repeat the process with the second line.
(8) restart your device with the SIMS
inside (if before the tapeworms in device not you)
worry doesn't pass anything)
(9) ready and are your IMEI restored! Now already
You can use your lines without problem!
As you can see! in less than 10 steps and less than 5
minutes are going to retrieve your IMEI, is very
simple and don't need much knowledge, more
that the copy and paste text.
Okay.. thanks for showing me that it is because of the IMEI..
Can someone else explain it in an understandable English?
and for LG P698.. No offence though..
Thanks BRO!
Sorry, I view that I 've written very bad. So I said that probably your ESN is erased and if you want to get it you need to have this application
Send from my RCA TAB 7" RCT6378W2
---------- Post added at 05:56 ---------- Previous post was at 05:49 ----------
The apps is called android terminal emulator. I don't offence, cuz I learn for my mistakes to write englhis better.
Many times when you upgrade a new ROM, the folder where is the files of the ESN be erase accidentally.

[Q] Ulefone Be Pro NVRAM hidden partition

Dear friends.... is someone able to send me, or load somewhere, a copy or your Ulefone Be Pro NVRAM.BIN....I'm not sure it can help but could be useful because flashing a ROM I selected "format all" and now I've lost the NVRAM hidden partition where the IMEI codes and other important stuffs reside :crying:
I've alredy tried any existing system to write back the IMEI codes; using engineering mode AT command the phone answer me "the command is not allowed in userbuild" ...I don't really know what it means, the phone is rooted.... using MTKDroidTools I cannot see anything in the IMEI area so I cannot restore/backup IMIEI's....tried with SN Write Station tool, nothing....Maui META 3G ver 6.1316.1, nothing.....IMEI&SN Writer, nothing....
At the end could be that they don't work because the NVRAM partition has been lost....but I'm not so expert.
My actual solution is: copy the NVRAM folder, fortunately I've made a backup before, under /data/... and it works.... but the phone MUST be rooted and every time I make a full wipe, I lose everything.... any suggestions?!?
I need exactly same NVDATA.IMG, but for Ulefone power 2 , anyone can share it with me please
I have IMEI, MAC ... but SIM cant be registered to network and nearly all sensors does not work ...

imei currupted or efs damage fix(solved)for LE MAX 2

before i asked many people for fix but no correct solution is got but ( thanks for devs support). now i experimented and solved imei and efs partition currupted by qcn method
NOTE: ( third party qualcomm imei changing softwares will not work i tried many but no use)
steps
1. first download tools and install
2. go to qpst.exe in c:/programfiles/qualcomm/bin/qpst
3. now connect your phone open port by dialing(*#*#76937#*#) in stock
4. check whether qualcomm diagnostic port is enabled or not in device manager
5. if it shown enabled and device info its connected through diag port in qpst
6. now click software download and take backup of ur partition and save as (.qcn) and click on start it will read ur partition and
xx.qcn file will created(xx is any name)
7. now open hex editor search your imei number with [08xa] x is your starting digit of imei example(087a) for second imei click
find next option
8. now open your imei convertor and palce your imei and click convert
9. replace that converted imei in the form of hexadcimal replace with old imei same for second imei
10. important thing is while saving the file only by (save as) which is important if any mistake is happen we cant recover after
restoring in efs partition.
11. after saving again go to qpst npw go to restore option now click on start .
thats it! you got imei and signal:laugh::laugh::laugh:
i struggled 3 days for this to find correct way recover my ime
tools here
I would suggest to install Xposed and you can find IMEI changer in the download section. This will change only one IMEI number though. I mean IMEI1=IMEI2.
Another option is to use DFS tools.
And a 3rd option is to use Xiaomi (or similar for dual SIM) IMEI changer, you can use it to change both IMEI numbers.
All can be done provided that you have the box that the phone was packed in with the IMEI numbers on it.

Go to the section Guides where you have posted in a topic with "unlock bands..." There you have all what you need in the OP. Connect your phone in DFS tool, check the section where you have IMEI and update it.
Or use what I wrote with Xposed and IMEI changer.
PLEASE DO NOT CREATE ANY MORE THREADS!!!

Search for "WriteDualIMEI(W+G_eMMC).exe" file. Once you found it, check instructions on google to change the IMEI. It is working for Xiaomi devices as far as I remember. I tried on LeMax2 and it worked. I said I'll do a guide but time did not allow and also I forgot later on. For sure you can find instructions on xda as well.
This is the only tool I found to change both IMEIs.
Good luck!

I'll write down the instructions for you.
1. Phone should be rooted, adb drivers installed
2. Connect the phone to PC and select MTP and USB debugging
3. Open command prompt from Start. In Run, type cmd.exe
4. Type in the command prompt the following: adb shell
5. Then it should show [email protected]_x2:
6. Then type: su
7. Grant access on the phone
8. Then it should show [email protected]_x2:/ #
9. Type: setprop sys.usb.config diag,adb
10. The phone will go to Diag mode, check in device manager if it's like this. It should show at section Ports: Qualcomm HS-USB Android DIAG 901D (COM6). "6" is an example.
11. Open the WriteDualIMEI app and you should see in COM: COM6. This means that device is connected and you can type in the IMEIs.
12. Press START and that's it.

[Nexus 6P] Change / Modify IMEI reported XDA

Oh...I'm sorry I didn't know that, forgive me
leotwix said:
Good evening to the entire XDA community . I'm new to this forum, and I need some help if it is possible, apologize if you see something strange but this is the only forum I know where everyone is active, about android, hacking, roms, etc. Here is the question:
How can I change / modify the IMEI of my Nexus 6P Huawei?
I have reviewed several topics here on how to do it, I have done a process to roote this phone because it does not allow it from apk but by flash, so I have rooted it, installed XDA ROM (Flash) and XDA Framework application, also the well known TWRP Which is the recovery mode I am currently using.
I Tryied installing a module called Phone ID changer, but it did not work with several attempts, so I see only hidden the IMEI but does not change it, so my phone is still without mobile network service because of the report.
I decided to investigate a folder called EFS that supposedly contains all the information about the IMEI and where it can be changed, I tried with the Root Explorer application and try to find it but I could not find the EFS folder even with the option to show hidden files. BUT by entering recovery mode with TWRP and entering backup, it allows me to make a backup of that folder (EFS) so the folder is on the phone, but I do not know exactly where.
This is all I have tried so far to change my IMEI reported to be able to use my phone with SIM and signal. Please help, this is the only forum I see active mainly in android, I have searched thousands of videos, tutorials, etc but I have not been able to find something that changes the IMEI to a new one.
Thank you very much to all.
Data:
Phone: Nexus 6P Huawei
Android Ver. : 7.1.2
Recovery Mode: TWRP
Problem: Can't change IMEI
If you need more information, please comment it I will gladly add it.

Hi Moonlighter,
I cannot see why the codes you have provided are useful, however, can you still please send me your backup so I can try and convert it to an image to help you restore it? Backups are located in Internal Storage (or MicroSD Cars if you have one plugged in)>TWRP>Backup. Go here on your computer using explorer with your phone plugged in. Upload the most recent backup up to something such as MEGA or Google Drive.
Thanks,

Hi moonlighter,
Unfortunately, according to the logs, it seems that you have wiped your /system partition (see screenshot). However, it does seem your system image is intact. Do you have any older backups (check your MicroSD maybe?)? I am also in this same state (accidentally ), so I cannot provide you my own image. Huawei nor Vodafone give out firmwares for this phone, and as you have installed TWRP, they will not reflash your device.
Sorry about this,
CyanicSword

You will probably have to use that to make a TWRP flashable zip of the system or at least the recovery partition then use the microsd card method to update with the big update file elesewhere in that archive.
