This morning I changed a line of my build.prop in my Xperia U but the thing that I wanted doesn't worked so, I deleted that line and the buil.prop was like before. When I restarted the phone this message appeared: "The system process is not responding". What can I do?? My phone is so laggy now...

Copy the original build.prop from your ROM.
Do you have adb root access?

Yes, I have. I'm in stock. In my build.prop there are maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaany tweaks and I don't want to lose them.... And I don't know how can I get the original build.prop from the stock rom. I'm in B.100 ICS

Extract syste.sin from ICS FTF (Winth 7-Zip or other) then with flashtool SIN editor extract system.ext4 then with ext4_unpacker you can extract any file you want.
You can save your current build.prop and merge the tweaks later,
IMO it's better to have a working phone with no tweaks than a phone with tweaks that doesn't work, others may have different opinion.

This will not work by default in stock. You have to change one binary value in bools.xml in framework-res.apk and then edit build.prop.Follow this tutorial and then edit build.prop.

Did you use apktool to edit the values, put resources.arsc in the original and then copied modified framework-res.apk into the /system/framework/framework-res.apk ? Was it copied there? If not check that root explorer is mounted in read/write mode.Same for build.prop.I think you didn't copy it.

I am sick of it!!
I tried all stuff but that **** animation will not work.
I think it only works if the coderomv1 is flashed with the stock rom there is no way to get that animation working i tried all with the framework-res.apk no success with a theme no success i give up now no crt animation for me because i don´t know what can i do only flashing the coderomv1 but that i wouldn´t do because i not want the coderomv1.

You had to set permisssions after copying framework-res.apk -rw -r -r.same with build.prop
With CRT animation enabled, you will lose your samsung boot screen in stock kph....I have managed to enable boot screen animation only through cf-root kernel.I don't have coderom but crt is enabled through this method and have brought custom boot animation through cf-root kernel.
So I extracted xloud files from 2.3.3 Uk generic for everyone who needs it
xLoud 2.3.3
I havent tried using it,so if anyone is willing to test it,post your results in the comments, and i think it can be installed via recovery...

Being a smartass I changed the framework.res to the one in the zip and I had to do a clean wipe and flash to get out of a bootloop...If anyone has something to add to make this work, please do...
Hi,
How i can flash this files because it's a .RAR format??? is not a zip for recovery flash??

Maybe, but you would have to change build.prop and settings.apk for it to work
for me don't work with latest MIUI rom, install aborted via recovey mod.
ps: how i can change build.prop and settings.apk because im noob
or if you have ready to install .zip xLoud 2.3.3, build.prop and settings.apk for MIUI i can test it.
thanks

RAR and ZIP are two completely different compression methods, why would changing an extension do anything?
The OP said you have to extract the .rar (using WinRar) and put the two folders inside the Xloud 2.3.3 folder (Which is inside the rar) and put them into a .zip folder... how hard is that
he did't said anything like that.
anyway.. i've manually updated each file (of course after setting the right permissions to rw-r--r-- just like the originals). it doesn't work... xloud works but is still as crappy as 2.3.4
ooo... I miss 2.3.3 loudness... why sony had to brake it after just one firm update...

If you did a nandroid backup, you should just be able to flash that.
Or try running build.prop.bak through a text editor and seeing what's in it.
Sent from my SK17i using xda premium
See the build.prop.bak file, delete build.prop and rename build.prop.bak to build.prop. This should work fine
And normally the build.prop shouldn't affect the boot...
Edit: Okay look like it could affect the boot
U can't modify build.prop using root explorer. Use build.prop editor application such as rom toolbox or similar.

why we must flash zip?
1 use root explorer like mixplorer.apk,
2 go to system/media/theme/default and rename 'powermenu' to powermenu.apk2 (for backup that file)
3 download 'powermenu.zip' from attach files and delete '.zip' (cant upload file name 'powermenu' whitout '.zip' extensions)
4 copy file 'powermenu' from attach files to system/media/theme/default (check permissions 644)
5 no need reboot
for restore orginal files delete 'powermenu' and rename powermenu.apk2 to 'powermenu'. no need reboot.

Thank you for your solution but I am going to allow to bring you an answer
Because simply most of the users prefer to flash a zip file without having to make other manipulations. Many feel reassuring so by operating
But if you are willing I am also going to bring a quite small criticism in your description of your solution

You sure you do not forget anything?
Because if you apply only it there will be no change.
50 % of the work is missing so that actually the new functions are present in powermenu . As for example to edit the services.jar file ...
Excuse me, it is not 50 % which it misses but 90 % in fact. Because you have to de-odex services.jar file, decompile services.jar file, recompile services.jar file, edit servives.jar file, and copy the new services.jar file in framework folder with 644 permission.
But I am certain that it is just any forgetting from you and that you fast go to correct your solution

Of course this is the correct way to go. However, your deodexed services.jar is not good as stock in terms of performance, delays, random freezes and touch delays. Seems that some bugs exist in your kitchen. I tried it many times in 10.0.4 and in 10.0.6 with same behaviour. I revert back to stock.
Thank you for your efforts and your time as well

May be you cannot feel it now but you will certainly feel the difference if you flashed stock after a while.
Regarding modded systemui, tiny difference is not noticeable at all.
