Im seeing the hyperdrive tweaks and hubs app on your homescreen and the note 3 ui. Are you sure it didnt install and your getting a weird post boot problem? If it was me I would rewipe all partitions, dalvik cache, cache, system, and factory data reset and re install then see what it does.
Hit thanks if I helped you out. Doing a little bit of reading goes a long way. Sent via tapatalk.

after pressing wrong password a few times a bit scared as to what would happen next It finally said wrong password will remove all data. I entered wrong password again and it wiped factory reset it !!
so enter wrong passwords bout 4 times allowed wiping. why couldn't i find this info any ware before ?
Crazy stuff. Never heard of that happening. Sounds like the only thing is to boot into download mode and use odin to flash stock or stock rooted.

I've never run into this, nor have I ever seen a post about it. My guess is that very few people here are even familiar with setting a password to lock wipe data/factory reset, and that few if any would know the sequence you just discovered. Glad you got it sorted out.
thanks for post OP
same thing happened to me today and was annoyed by it but thanks to your post i was able to fix it
thanks again
I do believe a sticky or at least honorable mention should be had about this!

Lol. People install apps to protect their security then forget about it and then complain about it doing its job later. Thaaaaats pretty much it. That, or they bought it from someone else who did and they were unaware.

process com.android.phone ERROR !!!!

I always seem to get this error when i am dialing #'s. Its like if I try and dial a number too fast the keyboard begins to lag and just stops responding.
Anyone know a fix for this issue ?
It only happens when I dial #'s ... too quickly it seems and the phone just stops responding...i cant hang up the call that i am on or even finish dialing.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
my phone is rooted. h-boot 1.5

fyi, when you restore data, it negates the fact that you wiped it, also dalvik is in data. If you're going to restore, there'e really no need to wipe first (except maybe cache), since the restore process actually first wipes each partition being restored. Then it restores it.
quite honestly, i thought that i experienced this issues when my phone was stock.
cant really remember though. i know my original EVO had these same issues. I'm starting to think that the HTC dialer is faulty.
i will wipe everything and then...reflash the ROM. I wont restore any data and i will see how it goes.
just out of curiosity... where is the nandroid backup and all that kept? i made one before i rooted. ALso, I've been wanting to format my sd card, even though it has nothing to do with this issue im sure.

[Q] Updating to HyDrOG3N-ICS 10.04

Hi guys,
Two days ago, I installed HyDrOG3N-ICS 8.04, and yesterday an update to HyDrOG3N-ICS 10.04 was released.
So I'm asking do I have to wipe factory settings/cache again and reinstall the update or just install it without doing this, I don't want to lose my data.
Also about SiyahKernel, can I flash with Odin directly to this rom as I heard it is good or there will be a problem, does it has any bugs?
Thanks in advance.
No wipe as I stated on second post. No issues with siyah, flash it the way you want.

I tried that but still I can't get mobile data. On 8.4 update I was experiencing reduced speeds.
you could wipe if you want...
I have some country restrictions on Google Play and compatibility issues. Can I fix this, like to appear on another country?

[Q] Getting ASUS UPDATE Service pop up screen after every boot up. FOTA. 28 update

Nope. Wiped data before updating. Figured it would be best to give the update a fresh start.

Yep, getting the exact same thing on every reboot, seems to cause a delayed boot, im on the latest androwook, did all the wipes on twrp recovery and everything, its a bugger, as it slows down my bootup.
Doesnt seem to be a solution, ive tried a dalvik and cache wipe but the problem persists, ill go as far as saying that doing a dalvik wipe is what initiates it, as i dont ever remember getting it, when ive restored my apps through titanium, essentilly installing the apps as if ive installed them individually over a period of time
Ive been restoring the data portion (apps, widgets, settings, launcher) from my latest twrp backup after every rom flash.........always comes back when i do it that way, reckon i backed up the *issue* aswell.
I think its got to do with something on that side of things, a script or something not getting updated to reflect that the scan was already done *shrugs*
Started happening to me after I did a custom rom install. Any of you guys go back and forth between stock and custom? Still a newb at this but maybe Asus knows and there's something it can't update?

my phone is dead

I just recently rooted my samsung g s3. I tried to flash my first rom criskelo which it did not work for me, so i restored my stock rom and rebooted my phone and now it wont power on, what happened I need help in the worst way someone.
Try factory resetting the phone in recovery, wiping cache and dalvik and format /system partition. Then restore your nandroid again.
Or, instead of restoring your nandroid, just re flash the rom you downloaded.

Again try to pull out the battery for at least 10 minutes no cable should be pluged while doing this after 10 or 15 minutes plugin the battery again and try to boot to recovery not to normal system! if it boots up format /system and wipe /data and
/cache then go on try to restore your nandroid
