Manually change rom from BUX to CM [Wave] - Android Development on Bada

Hi,
i have a problem with my Samsung Wave 8500
I succesfully installed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2482214
B.U.X.
my problem is that my BADA is not working
i see the Samsung Text but after that nothing happens
the android version is not the right as it does not have modem and phone working
so i wanted to install CM Badadroid
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2400126
but first the ZIP does not install
it says e:error Status 7 installation aborted
so i would like to install anything again
but my download mode never worked, it shows me up bluescreen only
before that i always flashed FOTA with normal Booted bada which always worked
my goal is to recover to bada or install the CM10.1 which would be enough for me with modem function
please help

but my download mode never worked, it shows me up bluescreen only

yes
i tried many combinations
btw. your one is wrong which i also tried
so i thought maybe we can manually install CM
is the clocktowermod the base and necassary ?
once i had installed the zip and the right zlib and saw the boot which says cyanogen
but it happened nothing even waiting 10mins
also i cant go in to recovery mode with CM zImage, the other one works
Edit : i know why my bada is not working
i installed FOTA from wave 2 instead of Wave 1
my download mode is not working properly
any ideas ?

Volume down + Screenlock + Power On
is working for me....
Then you can install Bada Turko CFW v10.1 from here. Follow the instructions
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2306458
And then you can install CM Badadroid as you want.

I think it has an option from the menu on recovery mode. After you flash Turko CFW, reboot on recovery mode and search on menus how to fromat your card.

Nope, sorry, i'm affraid that you have to format your system partition and reflash the rom. (If you don't touch to the data partition your datas won't be lost).
For an alternate solution... Well you can try to install a slim gapps (I saw a link for one in the CM 10.1 thread. Or simply google it.)

what about deleting via Android ?
will it affect something positive ?
isnt there any zip for recovery mode ?
ok if not i could flash again but i want to keep my apps downloaded from the store
please help quick

That's exactly what I was saying. th only way to remove the gapps is to reflash the rom, and if you don't wipe the data partition, your apps will be fine. I you encounter any kind of problem in android after doing that, you will have to wipe your data partition though...

You can delete the .apk files in the system/app folder. (root view on default filemannager)

Yes of course, but there's not only apks in the gapps zip. There's also libs and a bunch of other things, so if he really want to fully uninstall gapps, or he'll have to remove everything manually, or he will have to reflash the rom. And in my opinion, the second way is really simpler.

Great, thanks. Please Test backup function, if it is working, we can install custom rom too.
And sdcard maybe never will working, because it's so hard to fix anything without the device, but I hope i can make a recovery what can install custom roms at least.

[Q][SOLVED] Up Grading to Galaxy Player 5 to JB

I have galaxy player 5.0, YP-G70, firmware 2.3.5 gingerbread.uek18 and I just rooted it using SRSrooting.com and it is rooted. I added busybody, rom manager, set CPU,titanium backup. All this from play store now what do I need to do to upgrade from gingerbread, keep in mind I'm new this? I have no clue what to do!
you actually didnt need to root your device if you wanted to upgrade to a newer android version.
simply download all the files necessary, put your phone in download mode, and install rj kernel (INTL) or entropy kernel (US) with odin.
then, boot your phone up into recovery mode and flash cm9.
power off your phone, then boot up into recovery again.
Now you are ready to flash a jellybean build. Cm10.2 M1 or PAC rom is recommended. remember to flash the gapps package along with the rom.

Ok so the first thing we need to figure out is which device you have. If you have one with a physical home button, then you have the INTL player. If you have one with a capacitive button, you have the US version.
Once you have figured this out, we need to flash a custom kernel onto your device. Here are the direct download links for the kernels
US: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=856856&d=1326569537
INTL: http://www.mediafire.com/?zmosctgvifab9z1
After downloading, put your device in download mode by powering it off and then holding the power and volume down keys. Your player should get to a screen that says something like "Downloading Do not turn off Target!!" Now, plug your device onto your computer, preferably via the usb cable that came with the device. Launch odin (attached in the zip below), and click on the PDA button. Browse to wherever you have downloaded the kernel tar file and select the file. Make sure the repartition and Flash lock check boxes are NOT selected at this point. Then click on the start button. If all goes well the box on the top left should say Pass! and your device should reboot.

Cool. Now that you have a custom recovery, it is time to start flashing stuff. First download cm9, cm10.2M1, and gapps (and US kernel if necessary) onto your device. Then, power off your device. Hold down power and volume up until you see the samsung logo, then release the power button but keep holding onto the volume up button. You should be in CWM recovery right now. use the volume keys to navigate up/down and use the power key to select. Go to install zip, and select the cm9 zip. This should take a while to install. once it is done, go to advanced > power off. Now boot into recovery again. Do a wipe data/factory reset, and Advanced > wipe dalvik. Now you can install the cm10.2 zip and then install the gapps zip. If you have the USA device, install the US kernel also. After this, hit reboot and enjoy.

It was same for me but if your recovery is the same (TWRP) so you can long press power off and volume up buttons wait for screen to go off and then on , release the keys and push them back again to enter LG's factory reset mode then press yes and yes again it will say factory reset procesing but it will then boot in to recovery . With TWRP you can connect phone to computer , download and put LG'S sock ROM or other like compatible CM12 .then do advanced wipe in wipe selection so it will delete everything even your rom (but not sd) and then flash your ROM cm12 or lg's stock .It worked for me so maby it work for you too
My device is off. I start with?

I have now a problem, my telephone is only starting on a menu " teamwin " or I have access has options which I do not want touch. My question is: how to find my telephone as by default? Thanks to you

You want the stuck rom, download it from this site or this site.
Search model number and download stock rom for FR country code (France), you have to be registered to download.
Sorry posted in wrong place..

Oh sorry fully ignore my last post, i thought you have a Samsung device.
Yes it's ok to download from there, but to flash you have to look for a guide in the internet, try searching google "flash stock rom honor 5x".

As far as i know, you can't install stock rom with TWRP, first put Dload folder in the home directory of sdcard, and then, you must flash stock recovery image of the stock rom you're going to flash from, that is the recovery image:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24459283995315189
Power off the phone and press vol up+ vol down and power.
It will now fully flash stock ROM with all stock files.
There is a full TWRP backup of the stock rom klw-l24-b151, you can simply download it and put it in the TWRP folder of your phone and restore it with TWRP, and Voila!!
You have stock rom installed
Here is the backup links:

Or
