This disables the full-screen message when you connect USB and have no ADB enabled.
This app has no user interface. Enable it in Xposed - reboot - done.
IMPORTANT
Xposed needs root access for installation and requires Android 4.0.3 and up

Why this app? The pop-up is annoying.

It shows not if adb (for debugging etc) is enabled. Have you some errors in Xposed log? As the pop-up is a "full screen notification" you could also use NotifyClean if you have the donate version

Hmm... Yes, there was like a paragraph of errors that shows in the log after I plug my USB in (and this attempts to launch) It was a bunch of .java errors... I tried to download the NotifyClean to see if that would do anything for me, but as you stated I would need the donate version because the free version did nothing for me... I'm fairly new to all this Xposed stuff so what I am going to do is disable this for right now... and come back later when i know more and see if I can get it working. I appreciate your response and also for making and sharing this module, im sure its helping a lot of people out :good:

If you could catch them sometime, please post here!
I wouldn't even know where to start... haha... The log is HUGE and the errors (that i THINK apply to this particular module) are like 15 paragraphs long... How about if i just upload the .log file?? (instead of posting like a million paragraphs on here...)
It's down at the end of the log.... what im talking about. all the java. errors....

That are many errors. Best would be to enable only one module, check log and report it to the developer.
But I have not found errors by this module
smart idea ^^^ but all my other modules work fine... this is the ONLY one i have that isnt working. but i will do as you suggested right now and upload the new .log. thanks for the idea smart thinking haha
EDIT: okay, now I did that... and now it doesnt ever say anything except 'loading class' ... even after i attempt to plug in USB, full screen alert still pops up, but no errors are logging. hmmmmm ... ? haha i'll attach log again...

adb is threw computer and you have to have the phone USB plugged in and in debug mode.
And to use terminal you download a terminal program off the market there are free ones
If you're asking to check if its disabled just use terminal.
with adb you have to download android SDK on PC ...ect too much of a process.
when with terminal all you do is type "mount" to check if disabled

You don't need ADB or Terminal to disable Voodoo. Use your desired file manager or mount it via USB. Go into /sdcard/Voodoo and make a file named "disable-lagfix" (no extensions) and then restart.
- ADB: In order to use it, you must have the proper environment set up to use ADB. My tip is to download: http://de.codeplex.com/ and it'll setup the SDK environment for you the easiest.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=532719 this is the guide you want to use to get ADB working
Terminal: Search for "Terminal Emulator" on the market and there you go.

rebooting via terminal emulator in your phone is faster than it
simply type

ah... you don't trust my opinion..
finey,shiney..
you need to change certain values in the framework.jar and android.policy.jar
and also certain values in framework-res.apk
I'd search my pc and check if I still have those files...
EDIT : Got them, not sure if they are the same.. I'm not an organized man.. If it doesn't work than maybe they are not the files I'll need to search more, let me know if it doesn't work...
EDIT 2 : if you get it working when you press reboot you'll get the same option as power off but when you click ok instead of shutting down it will reboot, trust me its very slow

I know there are threads like this out there, but none of them fitted my questions...
Hi,
in this post, seo posted some ported sense 3.0 apps and widgets for Sense 2.1 GB roms.
I tried to install some of them and got MMS to work.
Then tried to get Rosie and widgets, but they wouldn't install directly, so i started playing around with ADB.
i think adb is fully set up, i am able to pull apks from /system/app.
problem is, i am obviously unable to push, install or uninstall system apps via
adb push
adb install
adb uninstall.
this was when i tried remounting (with remount,rw etc.) and was able to "rip off" rosie.apk (i know it worked as it wasn't there anymore later on ) but still was unable to install apps (with the effect i hadn't got a launcher at all.)
latest step was creating a signed update.zip, didn't work, recovery just restarts.
anyone help? someone got experience which may help me? i went through about 10 or 20 guides and am kind of desperate right now as things just dont work
thanks

Pull me a recovery.log when you try installing the zip, and I'll have a look for you.

S.O.D. proudly presents.... recovery.log!
Here it is, i attached my own update.zip (rosie-signed.apk), maybe you could have a look at it as i don't know where the fault may be.
greets SOD
I would already be happy if you managed to solve the update.zip issue (would help me with other updates) but the main prob is adb noch really working, seems like some system part is blocking this?
my hero was originally a t-mobile google g2, created goldcard, rooted, custom recovery, new radio and custom rom.
a few details:
device HTC Hero (T-Mobile Google G2, the black one )
rom Salsasense RC2 (at the moment...)
recovery CWM 2.0.5.7 (think so, but im sure i got the latest)
sd 2gb
ooookay, tried to edit existing salsasense, resulting in non-functional rom rebooting into recovery.
JieeHD may you probably cook Rosie.apk and HtcClockWidget3d.apk in SalsaSense RC2 and upload it just for testing? much better would be to give me the keys to do it myself *still learning*
i tried it but the situation above occured^^ maybe some md5 thingy?

brick after flashing modified rom.
push to /system/app didnt work.
flashing restarts recovery.
jieehd's tip of single lines for every command doesnt work, same as above.
error 0 = apk is not made for your device/rom, wont install.
error 7.. dunno, think its not matching binary or parsing error.

were can i find HTCG2/hboot/PC10IMG.zip been looking all over for it and its no were to be find
Got some questions.
1. You want WHAT? And what is the purpose?
2. In how far is this related to this topic?
3. If u give us a path to this file, why do u ask where it is? Maybe try dowloAding some random rom (probably some ruu) and do extract & search..
4. Are you really willing to contribute to this topic? I dont see the point of posting this.
5. Obey forum rules. If u have got a question, post it directly in q&a section, not in some random topic or directly explain the connection to the actual topic.

Hello guys!
I'm starting this thread as I managed to install win10 on my X90L (Android) YogaBook
It was not easy to find a way to fix the ACPI error but it is possible!
Will update this post in a few hours with a guide on how to do it yourself.
UPDATE: link to the guide -> poz1.com/windows-on-android-lenovo-yogabook/
PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU CONTINUE YOU WILL END UP WITH A YOGABOOK WITHOUT INPUT DEVICES!!!
(EXTERNAL KEYBOARD WILL BE NEEDED) AND NO ANDROID INSTALL!!!
So far i got almost everything working except:
- Touchscreen
- Keyboard
- Webcam in the keyboard panel (the other one works fine)
- NFC
- Backlight Control (added 25/5/2018)
I'm getting very near to have the touch and the keyboard working though
P.s. In attach you find the outputs from 3DMark - IceStorm Extreme (default settings), would be much appreciated if someone with the real Win version shared its score
Any chance of posting you work to date. Got an X90F just crying out for Windows.

OK,
So far so good. I get to the amending of the of aml. But keep getting.
Intel ACPI Component Architecture

iASL: Terminating
To clarify the process. Decompile the DSTDroid.aml, then insert the OperationRegion (GNVS, SystemMemory, 0x7B3CF000, 0x0369)
Field (GNVS, AnyAcc, Lock, Preserve)
{ etc.. } section from the DSTDroid.dsl and use it to replace the equivalent section in the DSTWin.dsl in your files.
Then compile the DSTWin.dsl with the
iasli -ta DSDTWin.dsl
command.
This is how I am reading it, but have not managed to get it to work yet.
It decompiles with the two errors you mention, but wont recompile no matter how I try it.
I am using Notepadd++ so its not hidden characters.
Any thoughts, and thanks again for your efforts on this.

Hello Broomfundel,
I never got that error, but it seems to be a problem of the ASL Compiler build not of your file.
I am using Mac so I have another build, if you want to post the file I can compile it for you .
Otherwise you can try an older release or to build the tool from source maybe?

Hi,
KernelFlinger is opensource and come with an installer, it should be pretty simple to install it.
Right now I don't have my YogaBook as I am travelling but I can try in the next few days
OK, Older release worked, but I get a .hex file, your instructions talk about a new aml file. Do I use the .hex file or is there another option other than the -ta one that would create the aml.
BTW. I am enjoying this. So thanks again.

With the -ta option I get both the .hex and the .aml file but you can try -tc if it doesn't work. Maybe due to the different build
P.s. (for other people that may incur in this) If you don't get the output files check that you have as last line of the terminal
"Compilation complete. 0 Errors"
OK, I am getting 7 errors. My current theory is that the DSTDWin.dsl will only compile with the same version number of the compiler it was decompiled with. I have attached my DSDTDroid.dsl so you can have a go. At least it will prove I got things right up to that point. Might be worth posting the original DSTDWin.aml for me to try this end.
If we are lucky it might turn out that the patched DSTDWin.aml files are consistent across the same model devices.
So... It seems both pen mode and keyboard mode of holo keyboard won't work... Am I right?
It's sad that if they won't work even we install the drivers from the lenovo website

Have you tried with the ISO from this forum with the Windows injected drivers? Here https://forum.xda-developers.com/yoga-book/how-to/windows-guide-creating-windows-10-t3718823
As Poz1 is obviously busy at the moment. Can anyone else get the DSTDWin.aml file for me to try and decode?
Thanks
Sorry guys I've been busy with university

There you go I'm also updating the files DSTDWin of my blog with one with some fixes Well they depend on the settings you use in your Bios (that's why Windows may not boot after install, it changes some parameters (the wait time of the bios and the default boot partition)). When you use the builtin one is the bios that "updates" it for you but for now we need to do it by hand If we are going to end with everything working we can release a patched "Win" bios and everything will be simpler

I know There something in the DSDT (the file that tells the os which and where your pc components are) that has to be fixed to make Windows see these parts correctly

Thanks for all your doing on this. You have already got further than anyone else who tried.
let me know if you have more problems
I have added a 3DMark test in the first post for those that are interested in how it performs

Just another Question, you as a Advance user, do you believe that we (yoga book Windows owners) can boot Android yb STOCK ROM ( i mean not the Android x86 based distros)?
Yes, but I think you would have to do the "reverse" DSDT injection (from win to android) as the official ROM has drivers for that components.
This means that, if you're lucky you would end up with our same problems (keyboard, pen and touch). If we don't fix that before
The problem with Android is that it is meant to be flashed on rom instead of being installed and this makes things more difficult.
It should be possible to flash the rom on an USB key, add grub and use it for DSDT injection like we do and see what happens.
Another problem is that the provided kernelflinger seems to have most of the security options enabled so 99% it will refuse to boot anyway.
Since it is opensource it should be possible to fix this anyway.
So yes, but it a loooong journey
