Google 4.4 KitKat Launcher - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4

Here we go folks! Download all the files and then run the launcher. Working great here on the S4.
http://phandroid.com/2013/10/31/download-and-install-the-new-google-experience-launcher/
There is also some apps that you can download also that are 4.4.
ENJOY!

EDIT: Here is the working Hangouts app with SMS working!

I recommend downloading the new keyboard because it goes nicely with the hangouts app (emojis) are included as well.

I just fixed this on my device. By clearing data, it erased the English (US) language update. Under Google Now settings, tap "Offline Speech Recognition" then "All" and tap "English (US)" to update. After it finishes, press home and it should be working!

I can't believe it works!

just drag on app or widget to the very right edge of your right home screen to create a new one. you just can't create a blank one.

Drag an icon to the right to a "new" screen. It will only create a screen for something. It will not create an empty one.

I was under the impression that the spen would not work with flow, but it does! Sure am missing the dedicated number row though. If it had that it would be perfect.

I love it. It has all the functionality of SwiftKey plus flow, so if you don't like flow you can use it just like you can use the normal SwiftKey.
I took nosit1's advice and turned long press sensitivity down to make numbers easier. Love it! Now just need to figure out how to swipe to erase like on the non - swipe version and I will be perfectly content.

Best SMS app I've tried.
I'm very picky with sms apps as I don't like the idea of sharing my my sweet nothings with someone else's server (paranoia alert!) but, this app does what I want without that fear. I like the idea of picking who it alerts to and that I can keep my chats minimised while doing other things. I use sms flash and this app works really well with it as I use that app to alert me for pin codes and everyone else (because I don't use the reply feature) and Ninja for the important peeps. Cheers Dev!

there is actually a way to integrate voip with the dialer. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2111657)
but if you want to remove, try just renaming the file (ie from Phone.apk to Phone.apk.bak)
then reboot your gp and see if anything goes wrong

Do you have the S-Voice mapped to your home button? If you push it twice then it opens S-Voice you do. Just disable it from the S-Voice options.

(Q) changing DPI

I'm on stock firmware MJ7 rooted and want to change my dpi settings. I've done this before on various roms, but want to ask what app should I use and is it safe?

The one on xposed is per app dpi. Which is still cool, but I was looking for setting the system itself. Wish I didn't have this jacked up bootloader so I could just run paranoid Android or another rom and I'd have all these options built in. This is the first time I've run xposed on a phone and first time looking into an app or module for dpi settings so... I'll search and see what else I can find. Again just want to do it safely. I know I could just grab some app and hope for the best but wanted some feedback first that's all.

That does work. You have to do a reboot then it looks good. .All except the keyboard. It's huge. So I apparently I'll have to fiddle with swiftkeys dpi settings to see if I can scale it down to look normal. Not sure why the keyboard didn't take the settings like everything else did after I changed "Android system"
Also. .. Samsung keyboard looked the same. .huuuge
Sent from my SCH-I545 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Well I use nova and for now I just changed novas dpi and get the same results and my keyboard is all good too. Maybe I was just overlooking something but I tried changing both Samsung and SwiftKey dpi settings after I did Android system and nothing seemed to help, either to big or way too small.
For now this works.
