Hey guys, I have the sprint note 3 in white, I just got it tonight even though i really wanted black. Is there anyway taking this white one to sprint and swapping it for a black will work? Cause I know they have that 14 day policy. Any help?

That's what everyone says I am really not a fan of the white. I think it distracts from the screen. I had the white note 2 and couldn't stand the white. I don't like this either

Yeah you can take it back anytime within the 14 day period. I got a black one, but changed my mind and switched it out for a white one.
All they did was check to make sure if it worked, they didn't even check the Knox status in download mode. They might check more or less depending on the person you deal with and the managers policy.
Keep in mind you will have to pay the 35$ restocking fee no matter what. You should get to keep the usb cable and the headphones from the old one. (at least that's how it worked for me and another person I know that returned theirs)
Good luck!

The white has a higher resell price on eBay and Craigslist

I have htc evo lte and like it a lot, I usually don't do any of those thread about quality and what not, but this time I am, anyway I have the phone for 3 weeks now and I noticed a small light leak on my home button when im looking at black backgrounds it looks like a V and I was wondering if sprint can still exchanged the phone? I bought at sprint store but is my 3rd week, is it possible? Or should I just keep it. Thanks for the responses

They should exchange if you are in range of the exchange period or in warranty. Although, I recommend you just keep it.

If you are ok with rooting I'm sure we will see a mod soon to either make the button lights less bright or turn them off altogether, I'm hoping for the latter myself.

Been having a horrible day trying to get my phone replaced for having a manufacturer defect and the Verizon store did not want to replace. Many calls to customers service and hopefully tomorrow I can have an exchange ready at one of the corporate stores.

My note 2 did it as well. Mine was from T-Mobile. I think its just the phone. Not a problem per say

I envy you both, completely.

Yea its not a big deal but it gets annoying being that the phone is brand new and it being expensive. Hopefully tomorrow il have better luck getting it replaced

I was wondering, how often the sprint replacement device works with you guys? As far as i know that all replacement devices are refurbished.
EVO 4G LTE HB 2.09 S-OFF
I had 4 replacements through the sprint store with my 3D until I got one that wasn't scratched, dented, didn't rattle or even worked. I was told they are "recertified" not refurbished. They said they recirculate the phones people generally return during their 14 day period. The rep couldn't answer me when I asked about returned broken phones. Best Buy refurbishes them with brand new parts.

For me, sprints Assurian will replace with used and remanufactured unless you push hard. For BB, I have always received new units and no questions asked which is why I am still using them and won't ever change again. Again, your results my vary depending on where you are and circumstances.

Thank you guys for sharing your experiences with the replacement devices. I think next time i should get the BB insurance. It's way better than Sprint insurance, at least I will get a brand new device as replacement.

+1 for BB I've always get new devices from them

It might depend on the store/area. The 3 Best Buys near me give refurbished.

Glass protruding not flush with the frame , and one corner very loose, and now it's back ordered from asurion so might be more than 3 days until I get a replacement

That sucks! Same kinda thing would happen to me through Sprint. Sent through about 3 or 4 in about 2 weeks with my 3D. One was heavily scratched (which they refused to send back even tho the one I turned in was not, but that one ended up not connecting right so it went back anyway) another rattled heavily with sound, by the time I got my last one, if that didn't work, they said they "might" give me a new one.

I have the insurance plan, will they replace a phone with accidental damage? Please share any replacement experience with BB. Thank you.
Yes they will replace it
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Do they replace it in store? Or should I plan on being without a device for a bit while a replacement ships?
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Depends on availability and what their pos system says
Edit: they'll give you a loaner phone if they have to ship you a new one
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2
Typically takes 1-3 business days. They offer you a loaner if you need, but it's usually a dumb phone. If you have an unused handset, they'll even switch your service over to it for you, instead, and they set up the new phone again when it arrives. No problem with water damage or anything. No limit on number of claims (my wife has tested both). Only real limitation is that they won't replace it if you lose it. Even a baggie of recognizable parts should suffice. I'll never use Verizon insurance again, and now buy all my phone through best buy.
Wow that is awesome. I'm glad I paid the 130 or so when I got this device.

Let me know if they give you another inspire or update the phone to a newer model. My son is using an inspire right now.
So I've cracked the screen on my beautiful Note 3 and have a dilemma. My dilemma is that I have insurance but I'm up for upgrade in December and don't want to pay the $200 deductible just to give the damn thing back a month or two later. I'm not really comfortable splitting the digitizer and lcd so that makes it tougher for me to do it on the cheap. Does anyone have any ideas on how to a) get out of paying the deductible b) be able to give the phone back with a cracked screen or c) know how or where I can get it fixed for cheap?
Any and all suggestions/advice are greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

This is directly from the Sprint site:
"Can I send in a phone that has a cracked screen?
As long as the device meets the following requirements, it is eligible for the Buyback program:
The conditions of the device must be as follows:
–Device must be able to power on.
–Cannot be melted, corroded, have lost components, or have visible water damage (Ex: Liquid in the screen).
–Device cannot look as if ran over by a car.
–If the device has a cracked screen, we WILL accept it, as long as it powers on. Even if the screen is white/black, as long as there is some sign that the phone powers on, the customer can send it in."
So yes, you can sell it back to them with a cracked screen, what they will give you for it is another question. Next time I recommend getting Squaretrade insurance instead, the deductible is only $50 no matter what happens to your device, even water damage.
Well I'm doing Sprint Easy Pay with Give Back and have to give this one back. Not an actual trade in so to speak. Would this still apply?

I'm not sure but you could always call them or do customer service chat on sprint.com and ask them

You don't have to wait until December. You can "buy out"-the remaining 2 months of your contract and upgrade now.

My point is that I don't want to pay the $200 deductible just to give the phone back.
