Hello Guys,
Tablet can be rooted through Unlockroot or super one click .
After successful root , you can try to install CWM for ICS 4.0.3 .
After installing take an backup of stock rom , if in future your phone get crash you can restore it .
After backup try different roms as available .
Note :- Please try at your own risk if anything went wrong dont blame me .

SeSearch for rooting is791c in xda .. and follo the steps.. I already rooted my is703c .. n its working gud... bt luking for a custom rom
Works with an ADB tweak
Pantel's BSNL Penta IS703C has weird path variable. the su present in /bin/ takes precedence. That file is merely a symlink to /bin/busybox. Rooting solutions don't affect it and therefore rooting this tablet from existing rooting solutions does not work.
Following method works for this tablet:
Follow all steps of any rooting solution, I chose root with restore by bin4ry with option 1
Enter ADB shell (root with restore by bin4ry folder contains adb.exe, use it by Windows cmd prompt)
Code:
adb shell
mv /bin/su /bin/su1
Done!
Tab not booting

Where did you get an upgraded firmware from? I know of only two official firmwares.
20120910%20IS703C%20software.zip (new)
and
IS703C1GB.zip (old)
(Here is my opinion about these two firmwares:
New
Pros: Obviously, it is new. Offers more apps. Physical buttons work as volume keys. Taskbar has hide option.
Cons: Wallpaper says that P. C. Chacko has gifted tablet to some scholar. /system/media/boot.mp3 plays annoying audio at startup. Taskbar has screenshot button. Stock Skype app is by tom.com.
Fix: Remove wallpaper. Rename boot.mp3 from ADB/root. Install official Skype app.
Old
Pros: Physical buttons work as menu and back keys.
Cons: Older version. Less apps.)
I have tried both firmwares and both work fine. Did you try some firmware for some other tablet? If so, then you'll have to flash any original firmware back.
Actually I tried installing CWM of a fly tablet but it didnt worked so reflashed stock firmware. But after some timme my tab refused to boot. still looking for a solution.
Try this

If your tablet is still detected by ADB, then you might be able to reflash the stock firmware again. I don't know if any JTAG sort of fixes are provided by Pantel service center. I suggest you ask them, no harm in asking.

Since it is detected by ADB, I wouldn't be much worried.
I see that you earlier tried pantel.in/Download/Software/IS703C1GB.zip. Have you ever tried pantel.in/Download/Software/20120910 IS703C software.zip instead? It is the newer firmware from Pantel.

Did the firmware upgrade complete (shows a popup and the progress bar becomes full blue)? Else try to wipe /cache (boot-> keep menu button pressed -> Enters recovery -> Wipe cache).

Hello all at XDA!
I'm new here and to the Android OS. Got a " Pyle Astro PTBL92BC " for yule. (I bet you all have heard this before)
I managed to root it using " ROOTx " but now I want to Dive in to Custom ROMs and tweaks. I have been looking on the net, and found not much info about Pyle's Tablets at all.. looks like a Generic android tablet nothing special about it.
Have been reading and looks like I should install something like ClockworkMod Recovery but looking at CWM's site their is a lot of versions... I don't know how to find the right one for me.. So if and when I mess this up, I can fix it and not hurt my father in-laws feelings for bricking his present to me.
So what info do I need to find the right one? all I can tell you about is..
Model:
PTBL92BC
Android Ver:
4.0.4
Baseband:
1.5
Kernel:
3.0.8+ [email protected] #1
Build #: 913A.V2.10.TZX.R01.BT.eng.0826.1009
Thanks a lot!
Unfortunately, there is no custom recoveries for your device. With that being said, there really isn't much we can say about ROMs either.

Yes, I am a newb, but I thought ROOtx couldn't actually ROOT a device. Is this wrong? Could you explain further?
I have had success on rooting the device using the Kingo rooting tool for PC. I have rooted the device and now I am working on a CWM recovery for it which I have booted successfully into but haven't been able to mount sd card or anything correctly yet.

I was wondering how you got Kingo to recognize the tablet. Im having trouble getting windows to recognize the tablet once i put it in USB debugging mode. Do you have some Pyle USB drivers? Or is there a step im missing here.
Kingo "recognized" it once, but it was as a samsung galaxy so i assumed it would be bad to proceed with a Root when the program was assuming it was a different device. Any advice for me?
Thanks!
Help with Pyle Astro PTBL92BC
Hi, Next time I tried to turn on Pyle Astro PTBL92BC tablet, after trasfering files from other tablet by bloototh, it has got stuck on starting screen with the “Android” logo and it stays on it and does nothing more so I have to turn it off. It is not recognized when connected to pc either. What should I do to fix it? Is there a way to re install a fresh copy of Android?

I was in the same situation after trying to flash some random CWM not compatible with this chinese tablet.
To reflash the original firmware on it you need the flashing tool: PhoenixUSBPro
AND
you need the firmware (.IMG) file . this one was provided to me by the manufacturer: PTBL9C
Image file only HERE
Only inconvenience is that it is not the one for the Bluetooth capable Tablet ( their mistake).
Once I have the one for the PTBL92BC ( bluetooth capable) I will update .
Instructions on how to use that tool is summed up in the picture within the file attached PTBL9C.
BUT
If you need clearer steps you can follow instructions HERE

Just follow these instruction from another thread in XDADev. : HERE
It works for that tablet. Now Once you have root you can install Super SU pro and set it as a native app.
Hi I recently bought a iView SupraPad i700 (you can find it on newegg) it's a nice tablet, but there are limiters that have been put in place in various areas that make it difficult for some of my apps to work right(like setting storage to the sdcard instead of internal) . another issue is the volume which I can't change without rooting. I've tried a list of root tools none have worked does anyone here have any idea on to start rooting this device? (I'm new to this so please don't kill me)
info:
android version: 4.4.2
build number: z2520_i700_20140716
Okay I've tried towel root, Impactor and vroot. I'm out of normaly means anyone have another program or process I could try?

No answer from me... hoping I would find something here on XDA forums. The i700 is on sale for $45 with Newegg... not sure if I want to pull the trigger for something that I can't root (need Airplay functionality).

Thought of some options for you:
1. ROOT GENIUS: http://www.shuame.com/en/root/
Root Genius may give you problems while downloading via Chrome.... download and install via Internet Explorer.
2. KINGO ANDROID ROOT: http://www.kingoapp.com/
3. OEM Path that supposedly works for the iView 754TPR tablet:
Download the firmware ZIP file from here (Z2520_i700_20140716_CTS_MR.zip which is about 664MB) http://www.iviewus.com/download/firmware/
or here:
http://www.iviewus.com/download/firmware/i700/
Follow these instructions:
How to root the Iview 754tpc tablet (from HERE):
1. go to system settings, and then go to "Backup and Restore",
Then press "reboot into Recovery mode". - Note: This will only work in recovery mode.
2. select the factory reset option.
3. reboot device.
4. go to "on your PC" IVIEWUS -.
5. Download winzip from iview's page. - If your don't already have it.
6. Install winzip.
7. click on the link below the winzip link. - Note: Download will take an hour, depending on how fast you wifi is.
8. Then fallow step-by-step instructions that comes with 754tpc.rar download.
Now I have downloaded the i700 zip file and it has plenty of files in them which I'm not sure exactly how it will allow you to gain ROOT access with the above OEM method:
07/16/2014 04:21 AM 9,503,744 boot.img
07/16/2014 04:21 AM 12,137,472 droidboot.img
07/16/2014 04:20 AM 12,137,472 droidboot.img.POS.bin
07/16/2014 04:22 AM 6,805 flash.xml
05/25/2014 07:27 PM 2,031,600 IFWI_CLVP_CEAX_GB7_G01_EXT_F9_F8_WW20.bin
07/16/2014 04:21 AM 1,844,736 logo.bin
07/16/2014 03:50 AM 1,163 partition.tbl
07/16/2014 04:21 AM 11,539,456 recovery.img
05/25/2014 07:27 PM 99,296 SIGNED_CLVP_CEAX_GB7_FwDnx.bin
05/25/2014 07:27 PM 99,296 SIGNED_CLVP_CEAX_GB7_OsDnx.bin
05/25/2014 07:27 PM 880 SIGNED_CLVP_CEAX_GB7_SOFT_Fuse.bin
07/16/2014 04:21 AM 1,220,056,584 system.img
07/16/2014 04:04 AM 41,788,104 userdata.img
Now, these files all appear to be what you normally get in a Googles OEM versions of Android... *.IMG files that can be flashed with FASTBOOT, assuming you have access with your tablet to recovery. But does it give you ROOT access? I'm not sure, as I'm a noob at all this with plenty of trial and error until I give up (with the precious time that I already have).
I reviewed the similar TAR file that came with the example (Download 754TPC.rar here), and it included an IMG file along with LiveSuitPack_version_1.09_20120301 software. No clue what it does, but I noticed a DLL file called "roottools.dll". Perhaps that's the help that's needed to crack open this tablet if the initial 2 methods above don't work.
Give it a try and let me know how it turns out.
Thanks.

Hi I'm new to rooting and I read other threads about the iview i700 and I installed the drivers and used cwm program (myKIT_BATCHV1.1.2) and every thing connects and turns green but when I try the A2 option it says no program found so I'm kinda stuck on what to do now. I downloaded super user and am not sure how to install it. I also downloaded the SDC_INTEL2_ROOTKIT.7z and tried the rootkit option but that failed. Can anyone give me step by step please. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

Thanks I'll give this a try. Much apreciated. Just wanted to root so I can move my apps to SD card
Hi guys, I just bought the iview i700.
I want to root it but, I'm not to sure about the step-by-step for this tablet. I've downloaded and installed the correct drivers (my windows or my linux computer can access the tablet).
I copied the "UPDATE-SuperSU-vX.Xx.zip" and the "Venue_8_WiFi_KK4.4.2v1.33_FLASHPKG" on my microSD and put it in my tablet.
Now, how to run run the IntelAndroid-FBRL-01-17-2015 ?
If i run it with my tablet turned-on (normal mode) It doesn't find my tablet.
as read on the i700 firmware update manuel :
While the IntelAndroid-FBRL-01-17-2015 is running
Should I Turn off my tablet. Press the “Reset” button on the back of the tablet. Press and hold the Vol + and connect the USB cable to the tablet while holding the Vol + key. Keep holding the Vol+ button and press the Power button three times and release both.
After, how do I select the correct file ?
Any help would be appreciated.

I used this method to root, under Linux.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/dell-venue/general/linux-tethered-cwm-recovery-version-t2963104
There is a Windows method for this as well.
Thanks !
I managed to root it. I was confused with this rooting. I though that we needed to install permanently a new recovery and flash a custom rom !?!? I was confusing everything that I did with my cell phone (new recovery, new rom...).
The linux method worked great.
I figured out that to put this tablet on recovery mode (visible for adb) you just have to long press (10 seconds) the power button (while the tablet is turned on). When it's off a quick press on the power button will give you a huge battery sign, filling all the tablet screen. After that adb will see the device.

Great news indeed! Going to try it out tonight
It's really awesome! I have been searching high and low for the rooting of iMan Victor. I have got mine last week and still wondering how to root it.
By the way, do you guys facing the NFC compatibility issue? I couldn't get my Android Pay as well as the NFC Card reader working.
Oh no, I just tried to flash it and it failed. Mine is a 4GB ROM 64GBRAM model. Does it matter? Need assistance from bro and sis here. The steps that I went through were as follows:
1) Downloaded both the files by max74926.
2) Flash it with SP Flash Tool v5.1644 by selecting both the scattered file and recovery img downloaded in step 1).
3) Click on Download on SP Flash Tool and plug in the microUSB to iMan Victor while pressing the volume + button.
4) A red Download DA 100% bar appeared followed by an error box ERROR: STATUS_PRELOADER_INVALID (0xC0030004).
Any clue? What did I do wrongly?
mine is 3Gb ram 32GB rom, I don't know if this matter
you need to click download in SPFlash Tool, then plug the phone switched off whitout pressing any button.
be sure to have installed the right driver for your OS. I use win7 because in win10 the driver do not worked propely for me.
for the NFC problem I do not use it, I try read a card and it worked but trying to emulate a card and the error is secure element not found, may be that is an hardware lack, that is needed also for Android Pay

you need to click download in SPFlash Tool, then plug the phone switched off whitout pressing any button.
be sure to have installed the right driver for your OS. I use win7 because in win10 the driver do not worked propely for me.
for the NFC problem I do not use it, I try read a card and it worked but trying to emulate a card and the error is secure element not found, may be that is an hardware lack, that is needed also for Android Pay

Thank you max74926 for your fast response.
I am thinking could it be due to my driver issue. I clicked download in SPFlash Tool, then plug the phone switched off without pressing any button, there was no response. However if I plug the phone switched off with pressing the vol+ button, there was a red bar appeared with 100% then prompted me with error message.
I tried to follow the guide which you attached with the link. I am still confused how do you get the stock recovery from our device? May be you can assist me with that. Thank you!

Any clue? What did I do wrongly?

you can download the entire ROM from needrom http://www.needrom.com/download/iman-victor/
this include also the recovery
This method didn't work for me either, the guides are also kinda confusing because of weird instructions, especially the recovery port guide is very unclear.
PS: on a 32GB + 3GB version

Tried reinstalling vcom Driver, but still not working. I tried flashing my old zopo980 phone with the same computer and FlashTool without issue.
Not sure where can I get the Scatter file for 4GB variant.

Hello there. I got a Doogee X7 Pro and I would really like to root it, as all my smartphones before. Until now a One-Click-Root app always did the job to my satisfaction. Those times seem to be over
I tried even some obscure chinese root apps, with and without pc. No luck !
Thought about flashing, but can't find a Custom Rom for my device. Or there is one, but the link is broken. Twrp doesn't work for my phone, and so on.......
In short: I am pissed off.
Wrote to Android forum, nobody answers.
Can/will you help me ?
Kind regards. Christian

Hello. Thanks for the link. Tried that, but didn't work or I did something wrong.
But I made it now. Was quite easy, when you know it ?
Fastboot oem unlock, Twrp image from needrom, SuperSu Zip. All done with ADB Console and drivers.
Device rooted. Yeeehaaa ???
Hi would you tell me how to do it please. Links/files etc. Particularly the unlocking bootloader procedure please.
Thanks
Laurence

Root Doogee X7 Pro
How to root Doogee X7 Pro.
You do this at your own risk. I don't take any responsibility !!!!
You need:
---------------
Hardware:
-----------------
- Computer
- Phone
- SD card
- USB cable
Software:
---------------
- ADB console & drivers
- TWRP image
- SuperSu.zip
Other things:
--------------------
- brain
- time
- patience
- common sense
- the balls to take the risk ?
Procedure:
-----------------
Download and install the Software. The twrp and the SuperSu you can get at www.needrom.com. You have to register !
Put twrp in the ADB folder, SuperSu.zip on SD card.
In phone settings activate OEM unlock and USB debugging. You find these in the developer options.
If those options are not there go into the phone settings, about phone, hit build number 6 times and the menue will appear.
Now press "volume +" and "power" simultaneously. Boot into bootloader.
Connect phone to computer.
Open ADB.
type: fastboot devices
See a number ? Great !
Now the fun begins !!
- Fastboot OEM unlock
This will delete ALL data in the internal storage !!!!!
Device now asks you how to proceed. Volume up for yes, down for no.
Click yes and all user data will be erased. Bootloader is now unlocked.
Press power to reboot into bootloader.
- Fastboot boot twrp.img
On phone the twrp menue should appear.
- Wipe cache and dalvik cache
- install SuperSu.zip from sd card
- reboot
If the procedure was successful the SuperSu app must be in the app folder now. I needed 2 attempts before it worked out.
This is how I remember it. There are other tutorials online in case I missed something.
Good luck.
Thanks for that. I will give it a go later in the week. Laurence
