yeah flashed another one. just got back from tmo and got a new sim, still not working. no one has tmobile around me.
this happened to me too, i called tmobile and told them my phone would not get any signal, they told me to read off the numbers from the sim card and i did, i turned it on and started working again.

where you rooted when this happened?
bought off craigs and i just got off of the phone with tmobile and they said the imei number is blocked and that the original owner needs to pay the insurance fee of $15 so im pretty much screwed.
Blacklisted phone....one of the few reasons I am skeptical about dealing with phones off Craigslist.
Sorry man

yeah dunno what to do. insurance let me file a claim cause i said my phone got stolen. i called the dude's number who i bought it from and i guess his phone is disconnected. ill give it a week and see if maybe hes just late on a payment.
this happened to me the other day with clist if worst comes to worst you have to unlock and sell as a at&t phone tmobile doesnt help much
so it wont be blacklisted on at&t? i have a friend at t-mobile and im going to talk to her to see if they can do anything at the store. ive bought 8 other phones from craigs before and never had any problems. i never thought they could completely block service from a phone.
I recently got my phone repaired and I went and got it back today, however Ive noticed something strange.. I didnt have my SIM in the phone while getting repaired but for some reason my carrier account was logged in on the internet browser and I factory resetted before handing it in. Also 3 calls were made to this strange number which cost me $5, the number goes +113010xxxxxxxx ('x' is my sim number). I cant find out what it means but Im think I got hacked while getting repaired?

Why didn't you send it somewhere official for repair?
You should speak to your carrier about what it means
Last year I had the LG G4 phone which went into a boot loop. The phone rebooted while in use and would never come back on. I had it replaced but was given a refurbished phone. About a month later, in late January 2016, I was able to upgrade to the LG V10. I went with LG again even though I had the previous problems as I believed it was not something I'd run into again.
Unfortunately, that is not the case. Less than a year after purchasing my LG V10 it just went into a boot loop. Same exact situation... while using the phone the screen locked up, turned off, and now all I get is the LG startup screen which flashes off and back on every so often. I just chatted with Verizon and they confirmed this is a known issue with the LG V10.
So now in less than a year I am not only without a phone but also lost access to data on it. Thankfully this time I made regular backups of my phone in case this type of problem happened again. I'm sure Verizon will swap this phone with another refurbished device but this will be my last LG phone. My fault for trying to stick with them after the last problem. I won't make that mistake again.
According to Verizon they are familiar with this issue and claimed it was possibly related to a recent system update. My phone updated about a month ago but nothing else changed recently. I'll be back at Verizon in the morning to get them to process a replacement. Now the problem is I have a Google Pixel on order which I was going to trade-in this V10 for. I wonder what trouble this will cause now with that trade-in. The refurbished V10 I most likely will receive should still qualify for the trade-in but I'll have to see what Verizon says in the morning.

I have heard it's related to a hardware issue and not a software issue. However, the software IS seriously out of date.

I've just been through the bootloop/Verizon replacement situation also. They will send a refurb, it is unlikely it's a software issue however.
I was rooted on 5.1.1 v 11b when my V10 looped. So I had literally never updated my phone.

The IMEI issue is not a new one. But I chatted with someone from LG and they said it's a known issue with Verizon. I'm sure they all like playing the blame game... but if youre on Verizon, how many of you have still not been able to register?
I tried again today, after having my G6 for over two weeks and my IMEI is still not in their system. I'm not sure who to be annoyed with or how to remedy the issue.
No issue here mine got accepted on the 6th
I purchased my phone on launch day and got the email saying registration accepted the next day. I'm on Verizon BTW

Damn, sucks for me I suppose. Does anyone know where the issue is? Is Verizon not sending an updated list of IMEI's or is LG not updating their database?
I had a ZTE ZMAX Pro with Metro PCS. I lost it. I bought a new one, same model, same carrier, but new service/number because the price was more affordable that way. I found my old phone. I tried switching my old service/number to the new one, but in the middle of the process, the rep said I'd have to wait a couple hours (something about their database). When I hung up with him, my partner told me Metro won't make any changes to new services for the first 30 days. I then noticed neither phone seemed to have service (no phone calls, no texts, no internet). I took it the following day to a Metro location and they were able to transfer my service to the new phone. My old phone still says it has service and has my old phone number, yet I'm using my new phone with that number now. How can this be?
