Some contacts for whatever reason werent saved my girlfriends galaxy s4 screen broke the phone turns on but can not see anything on the screen
is there anyway to get contacts off this phone?
If you could somehow get to this location you would be able to catch them: /data/data/*.providers.contacts/databases/contacts2.db

I have shattered the screen of my AT&T Galaxy S2. It will power up but screen is completely black. I cant upgrade until Oct and will reluctantly use my wife's old Iphone 3g. All my contacts were on phone and backup on Gmail. Does anyone know of a way to transfer my 700 plus contacts to an I phone without being able to use screen on my Galaxy?
If they are on Google just access them on gmail.com in the contacts section
Although a better idea is to keep using Google sync on the iPhone (I setup my contacts list for Android 6 months before I actually got the phone using a iPod Touch)

Hi all,
I broke my beloved Galaxy S3 while replacing a shattered screen, and the LCD is not even showing when the phone turns on. I can get my photos etc off, but there is a particular text message I really need to get. I've been trying to sell an expensive item for ages, and I have to arrange a meeting with the buyer on Friday. Is there a way of getting to my text messages?
Ways I've thought of -
Using MHL and a usb mouse at the same time somehow to read the messages so I can write down his number
Opening Airdroid somehow remotely and connecting to it
Using ADB (I'm not even sure if it's on) to pull the text messages off the phone
Any help would be greatly appreciated. If it helps, I'm on Foxhound 1.7 and Siyah 1.8.6
EDIT: ADB doesn't seem to be on, trying to figure out a way of getting it on
I have a Galaxy Alpha with a broken screen from a drop. The device seems to be able to boot up, but screen is black so I cant even see anything. Samsung is asking me for 2/3 of what I paid for it, in order to replace the broken screen. Which is a non-starter.
The phone is really only of use to me as a "home" for the Gear app for syncing my Samsung Gear S watch. Unfortunately I had the phone offline and sync was off, at the time I dropped it. I'd rather not buy another phone just as a home for the watch and obviously, I dont want pay for a new screen when the cost is almost price of buying the phone.
Is there anyway for me to turn on the sync remotely or via a host PC? Just so I can turn the sync on and keep being able to use the email on my smartwatch. I have tried the find my phone on Google dashboard but my only option there is to wipe the device or make a call to it, but I cant control any of the settings otherwise.
Any ideas helpful...
I have a Galaxy s6 edge+ with Verizon that the screen went out on me. It still works fine, I can unlock it and hear the volume changing, but can't see anything at all, total black screen. I went and already got myself a s7, but all my contacts, pictures/videos, music and messages are on my s6. I didn't have anything backed up to the cloud, and can't get anything off of it. Is there anyway to get all my stuff off of the s6 on to a computer? If I knew the phone well enough I could just turn file transfer on from the nonfiction bar and be good.

Suppose your phone is faulty, but you want to transfer files to another phone. In that case, you have no choice but to go to the raid data recovery service because only their specialists will help you. I recently had a similar situation, but the screen didn't work there with a laptop either. Still, I had to move all the files to my computer because there were files on my studies and work. Ive got a problem. Yesterday my phone fell down on hard floor. In result - screen doesnt work. Its broken and all black. It shows nothing. But phone is working fine. I hear phone cell or any other notification.
I need to recover my data like contacts, apps,photos or sms messages. I was stupid and i save it only on my phone. There is no copy on my google account.
There is also other problem - i have locked screen by code which i know but i cant type it :/
What can i do now? Finally ill change screen if ill do nothing.
