Help me with CM11 Galaxy S2.. - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello friends I am Braulio XDA Chile, South America ...
I have a very big problem, is as follows:
It came from the ROM WanamLite (last), and Flash this ROM following all the steps .. All right, start system correctly, but not flash the GAPPS.
not seeing the GAPPS (like Play Store, absolutely necessary for me) I saw the obligation to change and return me to WanamLite, but Recovery was not the same ... now my device had no root ...
Seeing this I thought it necessary FLash any Stock ROM, I tried but nothing worked, all I came out with Fail! ... now not to do to fix this problem, my phone does not go to the logo GALAXY SII (i9100) ...
I need the help of all of you, really do not know if my phone is Brick ..
If you have any procedure required to flash a Stock ROM via ODIN really work showing me how.
In advance many thanks, from Chile.
... Sorry for my English

Go into recovery(power+volume up+home till i9100 logo appear). And do factory reset.wipe data.reboot and wait a few minutes.if that didnt work.re-flash your rom.

Let's go with the simple solution first
Google for dorimanx kernel and download the the dorimanx kernel 9.43 .tar file (make sure its .tar as its for odin)..
Make sure you have Odin 1.85 (as 1.85 is for galaxy s2)
Install kies from samsung website, if you already have kies skip this step
Now on your pc press (ctrl+alt+delete) and select "start task manager"
In the task manager go to "processes" tab and manually end two kies processes (as it interferes with odin)
now open odin and dont touch slash change any settings, just hit the "PDA" button and select the dorimanx kernel (.tar file) you downloaded
now over to your phone (make sure its powered off), press and hold volume down+home+power buttons at the same time and keep holding them until you see the GT-I9100 splash at which moment you let go of the buttons
the device should now enter download mode
now connect your s2 to pc via data cable and odin should recognize a com port being added..
flash the kernel
once odin says (success 1; failed 0 then removed) your phone will show GT-I9100 splash and then in a few seconds it will show dorimanx screen..
at this point, pull out your battery and reinsert it after pausing for a couple of seconds
now press and hold (volume up+home+power) buttons at the same time and keep holding them till you see GT-I9100 splash at which point let go of the buttons..
The phone will shbow dorimanx screen and then boot into recovery..
from this recovery flash wanamlite or any rom (NOT 4.4)..
I hope this helps..

[Q] Need help with unbrick I9100

Hi guys, I have a big request.
First I'm sorry for my english but I'm only 16.
I bought a cheap I9100, it was cheap because it can't boot, it always stops in Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 logo and never run system.
I search and found on xda forum this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1449771 but I've got problem. Previous owner of this phone say me that he gave his colleague phone to install new fiirmware and he broke it during install new firmware. He don't know exactly which FW he wanted to install on his phone, earlier he had GB so I think he want to install ICS but I'm not sure. In this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1449771 is say that I have to use appropriate system files GB or ICS. But I don't know which one I must use because I don't know which one FW (GB or ICS) colleague want to install and i don't want to brick this phone. My question is: Is there any way to check which firmware was install the last on this phone and which files of this guide I have to use ?
Thank you very much for your help !!
Ok first of all u need a USB JIG... Order it from ebay or just check out in local shops.. Thr s only one possibility that he might hav flashed I9100G fW... Or may be some other phone's fw. So U told while booting its stuck at Samsung LOGO? Then it must be samsung fw... Try getting the phone into download mode if not possible u use USB JIG... Then flash thru ODIN... Download the fw from samfirmware.com
Yes, but which one firmware I should flash ? GB or ICS ? In this guide is say that if I will try restore my ICS I9100 with GB files I can brick it, and I don't know which one firmware tried install previous ovner (GB or ICS)
Try Flashing lightening rom from odin.

Also do a full wipe from recovery
vol up+home+power
@OP post questions in Q/A section from next time!
I'll try this in wednesday and write here if it help or not so please don't close this thread. Thank you
Hi, every your solution doesen't work, I can go into download mode but after flash in odin it still hang up on Samsung galaxy s2 i9100 logo ;/
So you've flashed a rom as suggested & you have bootloop ? Boot into recovery mode (volume up/home/power buttons) & do a data wipe/factory reset.
Yes. I can't get into recovery, when I press and hold Vol.up + home + power it turn on and then shut down and again turn on and shut down
Also I haven't a .pit file for ICS version
Keep pressing the buttons, it well go into recovery, sometimes after you See i9100 three times come and go
By the way, what I just read it is not brick.
Its boot looping
Recovery is available in stock ICS ? because 5 mins ago i flashed official LP8 samsung firmware. Am I have to install something special to get recovery or it should work with stock firmware ?
Stock firmware = stock recovery.
Doesen't work I can't get into recovery and no matter which rom I install it stop booting on Samsung galaxy sII logo
I vatched on youtube updating S2 to ICS via ODIN and when the phone boot after updating it skows android, and my phone never show it only stuck on I9100 logo
Now when I press and hold Wol up + home + power it shows empty battery with circle
I still think you have zero issues....
Remove battery
Re insert battery
Plug in the charger
Let battery go close to half
Remove charger
Remove battery
Re insert battery
Keep pressing home + vol up + power until you see green Android
After install custom kernel green android shows on a moment and dissapera, now I have empty battery icon ;/
When I plug into charger it shows empty battery with white circle

Recharge your battery. Go to Samfirmware.com and if you haven't already done so, download your latest ICS for your phone.
The Pit.file is a standard file for the I9100 and works from gingerbread to ICS.
Yor can download that from my Dropbox.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/34590193/Flashprogram Samsung I9100 + Pit.rar
Once your battery has fully charged, if you can get into recovery then do so.
data/factory reset... Advanced.. wipe dalvik cache.... mounts & storage format system.
Turn off phone. remove battery 15 sec. insert battery and boot into download mode.
connect the usb lead to phone and PC. run Odin as Administer.
when odin displays yellow then your ready to go.
Put the pit file in and the firmware in and press start.
If you cant get into recovery then go staight to Odin.

phone frozen on start up screen please help

hi, i have just recently got another galaxy s2 after nicely cracking the screen on my old one :S the stats are as follows
galaxy s2
4.0.3
i9100xxlps
3.0.1519100xwlp7sl340913
i downloaded and flashed the closest kernal which was xxlp6 and now it seems stuck in the start up screen, odin flashes it successfully and it starts to reboot but all i have on screen is samsung galaxys11 with yellow triangle and it just hangs there and won't go any further, i've left if for almost an hour now, i followed the instructions to the letter so i don't know whats gone wrong, i have found and downloaded the speedmod kernal and tried to flash that over using odin, again it says successfull but will not go past the loading screen, please help i don't know what to do or what i could have possibly done wrong
thanks in advance, emma
If you can enter Recovery Mode, wipe data from it.
Try removing battery for 5-10 mins and put it back in and try.
Again try recovery mode also..
Cheers

What you should do is try get into recovery (vol up+home+power) and wipe cache and data reset then reboot. If that doesn't work or you can't get into recovery then go into download mode, flash stock firmware and then use a kernel like siyah or fluxi that work on i9100 and give you root wit cwm recovery.

[Q] Firmware upgrade encounter an isue ...

Hello!
To ask for help from you, unfortunately, yesterday I tried to upgrade the firmware on my phone, but ...error. Since then, when I turn on my phone's display:
"Firmware upgrade encounter an isue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."
(I tried the new samsung galaxy s2 official stock 4.1.2 rom on my phone to refresh with Odis 1.85, but it was not good probably the regional code did not much)
I can enter in download mode (volume down + home + power) and Odis program picks up the phone (com port is also yellow), but I do not know what settings you need to install in order to have clockwork mod, i have backup of the previous rom and you want to restore.
Or is there another way?
Sorry for the not so good english and thank you in advance for your help!

Well what rom are you on at the moment (which id you flash last)?
Its probably because you havent wipe data/factory reset before/after flashing rom or you're flashing incompatible kernel etc.
Try booting into recovery and wipe data/factory reset.
If you cant get into cwm, go into download mode and flash Siyah v4 .tar, then reboot into recovery wipe data and flash your desired rom.
