Do you like listening to music while you navigate?
Have you ever wanted to skip songs while composing Email or SMS?
Do you hate returning to home screen and then to the music player just to switch songs?
Do you like multitasking?
If you answered YES on one or more of those questions, this app is for YOU
Top player is a music player that stays on TOP
instructions:
use the + button to expand player
and the - button to minimize to top
full version has 3 player panel sizes and Show\Hide button, just in case you want it to disappear for a moment.
it is still in development but works well.
try it for free!
seems interesting, good job!
requirements? knows bugs? thanks!
you know, the usual...
.net cf 3.5 and winmo 5 and above.
tested on vga and wvga ppc
Very interesting, I'm going to give it a try!
Doesn't appear to work with HTC Sense, the window disappears when interacting with the Sense UI.
Great app! I encourage further development. I would like to see it skinable (changing the buttons, background, font and font color), without the "Small" / "Large" text, and a Play|Pause button (when "small") but overall really nice little app
...(for some reason my post appeared multiplied times, sorry 'bout that)
... (yet again)
Mortplayer already has the ability to use the Navibar which stays on top of other apps. Although the feature probably isn't as good as this player.
... (and the last one; sorry again)
Brilliant idea!
Thanks a lot!
Nice app, but it doesnt work for me. On the one Hand i have wma, but it seems that this format isn't suported, isnt it?
On the other hand, the player doesnt stay on the top in any program or in manila. Maybe it is incompatible with my Rom? --> Goatrip 4.5 which include wm 6.5.x . Could that be?
But if this will work this app is definetly that want i searched for a long time and i want to buy it
Do you think you can fix the issues and add WMA support?
THX a lot !
THX. great work
But dos'nt work with Htc sense...
yep, I filtered only mp3 files. will add soon support for wma
as said, it is still in development...
I am very happy to see you here in the forum yossio!
Continue with your work already started pretty well.
I have some considerations about TopPlayer:
* Support for other audio formats, as it has said.
* Different skins
* Finger friendly hide/show button
Basically these are the main things that I miss. But it was the best one dollar that I have ever spent!
Thanks man
pretty nice idea...
Keep it up!
hey i was trying to pay for the full version but it wont seem to load thru to the payloadz site. let me know if i can just pay you via paypal. thanks man! i`m lovin` the top player when i am texting or reading emails. very handy
Wow, looks promising!
Will streeming music be possible like shoutcast (pls) or asx?
/FluKe
Can we have a shuffle button please?
Some kind of skinning support would be great, but the real killer would be for it to hide and only pop to the top on a track change, for say 5 seconds, so I can skip it. That way i get full screen for my apps (particularly sat nav), and can then bin the tracks when I wish.
Great app with loads of potential, keep up the good work.
why not just send prev/next API calls to other existing (and great!) players ?
Is there a way to download those LauncherPro icons as a pack instead of downloading them individually? The only reason I ask is because More Icons Widget only allows you to apply a custom icon if its from a pack, and I haven't found a gray/white icon pack that it that nice and complete. Thanks in advance.
Did you even Google or Search the damn site before posting? I mean for Christ's Sake what is wrong with you people? Can't even do a damn Search. Learn how to do shiz on your own man. Jesus Christ. Why do people post STUPID questions in the Development Section? Why do people Post Questions without Searching? When will you learn? Sorry, I'm in a bad mood and need to vent.

Damn. Was it THAT difficult? No lie, it look me less then a minute. I SWEAR! I will record it and post it to YouTube for you if you want.

That's good, you know how to search, but apparently you don't know how to read.
The OP is asking if those icons come in an icon pack for use with the more icons widget app. He never asked where he can download the individual icons.
To the OP, I haven't seen any packs for those icons yet, so you might want to check on how to pack them yourself so you could use them with the more icons widget app.
So zip them... never mind.
LauncherPro iPhone icons
androidzoom
Zero Barrier that was funny.
Hijacked aospCMod Darkhorse GB Hero
Dock icon size?
Tried to search but no luck.Is there way to get dock icons bigger automatically? Like when i choose app and select default icon, they appear so small..
Or is there manual way to do that?
Thanks!
sad
unbeliveable, that i still couldnt find any better icons for my samsung galaxy s ii than the default GO theme icons.
iam starting to think than, there is no normal icons for this ****, and i sould buy an iphone?
i mean, comon guys, anyone think this droidicons or any of these icons like a cakes looks good?
please someone tell me how can i install normal icons, like in some default htc stuff without ROM's and stuff?
I think the the Vibrant forums needs this as a sticky so moderators do your thing and ev1 else do yours i was thinking something like this for posts
Rom Manager-Helps with the install of custom Roms
Tv Guide-For the people of the world that doesn't have a guide on there TV
and so far and so on and maby like = for a short review and short how it works or how to work it its just an idea so if you like it post
Im allways looking for different.
All posts will be checked for redundancy's

i getcha...but these threads are more of a vanity thing than a reference thing. You get so many posts listing the same apps, so it flattens the concept. If people for once would actually ONLY list apps that have not already been listed, then these types of threads would actually have value.
A lot of people come to these threads initially in hopes of finding out about some apps they do not yet know about...but what happens is they open up the thread and they end up seeing multiple posts that look something like this
-Launcherpro
-handcent
-root explorer
-fruitninja
-adw.ex
-sportstap
......major apps that everyone knows about, and they just keep getting listed reptitively, so people stop paying attention to it and it dies out.
not cutting short your efforts....i started a thread like this on games, and after like 6 or 7 posts you could see that everything was pretty much listed....top apps thread are all over XDA
I dont want you to think im just trying to be a ****^^^^, so ill contribute with some not well-known apps:
-Album Art Finder
-aTakePhone: best subsitute dialer IMO
-Ayal Music Lite: mp3 search
-Droid streamer: tv shows
-Mob Decor: wallpapers
-Old Time Radio: streams classic radio shows, good to fall asleep to
-Paper football

I do see your point. And you not being a **** because that is something that I didn't think of the mutple posts of the same app so maby I could go about making a post and try to keep it updated with what other people's post in the first post keeping all the apps in one place and that way everybody can see them in one post

So, imagine this:
You're deep into an application, using it, whatever it might be...say, an email app for example. While reading your email you and a peer are discussing a particular topic...say a fantasy football trade. You are wanting to trade Chad OchoCinco for Donavon McNabb with a fellow player in your league. So you begin to reply, but suddenly you have an ADHD moment. You say to yourself, "I believe I remember ESPN tweeting about McNabb earlier today on how they think he might not play next weeks game. I should check quick." So you hit the home button on your phone, then open up your Twitter app to see what @ESPN said. They report McNabb is injured and will not play next weeks game. So then you open up your browser to see the headlines on ESPN to see whether or not there is a player worth trading for OchoCinco. After about 5 minutes, you return back to your email app to finish the email only to find your phones cache had filled and restarts the app completely and you have lost what you were in the middle of writing.
The solution:
What if we created a new type of notification bar? What if, while not just including power controls and message notifications, we could be relayed even more info? What I'm imaging is this: What if there was a way to include RSS feeds such as Tweets, Facebook notifications, and news headlines into the status bar? That way when you drag it down you can either drag down further, or left and right to access said feeds with the notification bar?
Please include your thoughts and discussions in this feed!
Reminds me of the Samsung Continuum bottom screen.

Great idea! But sadly, the big Steve will put it in the his next iyo-es.
Nvm, we'll cook it ourselves. Plus, our original notification bar has a lot of rooms for improvement. It's nice to have a tweet bar in it, or check in button, with side-scrollable rss. We should make use all the pixel available, minimize the power menu, stack same notification into one category, and if we can, customize all the notification to our hearts content. Push notifications should be doubled their size, and can show on top of any application. It will slide in for a brief moment and then fades away.

Well, sort of. But, being said before, I prefer the iOS5 notification concept. But I'm sure it will require integration with all the apps. Sound pretty much as the rumoured ice-cream sandwich, but nothing is confirmed yet. At least now we can focus on optimizing the current notification bar.

Theoretically, any device running whatever version of Android it's programmed in. What would be nice if Cyanogenmod could it include it alongside their work. *nudge nudge, wink wink*
This would be multitasking in every sense of the word. Nice concept and I hope devs can figure this out.

In a way to save pixels for more places, the notification need not take a whole row but instead just TILES. Imagine when they are put into tiles, we could have 3-4 taking one row, taking much less spaces.
Then we can have multiple tabs as well (like the Sense 2.1 or MIUI GB) where we can put WIDGETS into it, apart from giving us power control toggles and recent apps.
Only issue is, it could be too tedious for single core processor.
I'm thinking an universal MIUI notification bar????
Thread cleaned!

My ringtones/notifications collection
At the minute not very large. But worth sharing IMO.
Extract on SD card to media/audio/ringtones & media/audio/notifications.
This way they will show up in the system list when picking a ringtone/notification tone.
I can tell you some of the audios include:
Notifications:
iPhone Message tone
Blackberry Message tone
Various other Blackberry tones
Super Mario shorts
Pacman shorts
Family Guy sound clips.
Ringtones:
iPhone ringtone
Mortal Kombat I (retro intro song)
Family Guy Soundclips
Playstation 1,2 and 3 start up intros.
Requests? Leave here i'll see what i can do!
