About to get a Car Charger..is it OK?

Hello.
I'm looking for a Car charger, and i found this product.
It has a standard MiniUSB connector, and it has 1000mAH (out) and 5V (in).
Is this what i need? how can i know that it won't damage my device?
or any MiniUSB will do the job?
Thank you all.
help please?

It has to be 5v (out) not 5V (in). Car batteries are in 12v or 24v, that's your input. Any usb is in 5V, that's your output.

It won't damage your device, because the USB specification imply a voltage of 5v, so any USB-compatible device will charge with a 5v input, and any miniUSB will do the job.
Considering the 1000mAh (out), it's a bit underrated but won't be a problem. A higher power output would allow you to charge your battery slightly faster. Car chargers are usually rated at 1500mAh.

This has been answered before
The important part here is the voltage the car charger outputs. I believe the standard Galaxy S2 outputs 5V (at 700mA [0.7A]). If the mA is lower, it will take a longer time to charge. If its higher, it will only draw from it what it needs.
So, check the output voltage of the charger is not higher than 5V and you should be ok.

What charger are you using?

Hi,
Question for the redmi note 2 users.
What charger do you use to charge your phone?
When i used a normal usb wall charger that I used for my HTC the charging was very slow.
Switched it to the original charger that came and it was a lot faster.
Why does it take forever to charge on a normal charger?
Also what do you guys do if youw ant to charge throughout the day via a PC and when travelling in car charger?
Am i missing something?
Because the original charger can provide up to 2A of power. Just check the output spec on the charger usually it show the voltage and amp like this: 5V = 2000ma.
USB 2.0 can provide up to 0.5A
USB Fast Charge on some laptop can provide up to 1.2A (CMIIW)
All charger have the printed output spec.

I need one for the UK.
Can someone send me a link for one to buy.
Also if you want to charge in the car do I havw to buy a car charger that supports 2A?
I assume same goes for PC?
So higher the Ampere number from a charger so faster it load ,BUT to high can damage the Battery so you are good with 2A or 2.1A think it also gives for the UK cause its only thing of voltage change

This is what I don;t understand the samsung fast charger is 2A isnt it? " It outputs 2A for ultra fast charging, so your S5 will be fully charged in no time."
Has anyone from the UK replaced the 2pin charging plug with a 3pin plug that maintains the quick charge if so which one did you buy ?
I use PC USB 2.0.
I don't care about how fast it charges.
For me the slower the better.
A 2 amps charger will work fast like the original?
I use OPPO fast charger..

Quick Charge 3.0 for Xperia X?

Does Xperia X supports Quick Charge 3.0? What happens if we use 3.0 charger?
prob it will work at qc 2.0 speed
QuickCharge is backwards compatible with the previous versions. I use an Aukey PA-T9 QuickCharge 3.0 charger on my Xperia X and it charges way faster than the standard charger even through Xperia X is certified for QC 2.0 only...

The original Xperia X charger doesnt have QuickCharge 2.0 (at least mine didnt had) thats why is faster with your PA-T9 charger , i think if u take a QuickCharge 2.0 and a 3.0 and test them on Xperia X it will charge at the same speed (QC 2.0)

Xperia X shipped with a Quick Charger only in a handful of countries, I also got a standard 5V @ 1.5A charger with mine.
Also, I'm not implying that QC 3.0 is faster than QC 2.0, I'm just assuring the OP that Xperia X can get fast charged with a QC 3.0 charger even through it's certified only for QC 2.0.
I think I broke something on my end. So yesterday I charged Samsung Tab 4 with my "new" QC3 UCH12 charger from ebay( before I charged my phone and it was fast) and now my phone can't charge more than 0.7A and it says it's on 4V. But in the mean time I connect my standart UCH20 5V @ 1.5A it charges at 1.5A but sometimes it goes to 1 or 0.7A but then goes back to 1.5A. Any tips?
Also sometimes it just won't charge my phone. Like it would connect for a second and then disconnect.
I would really like to get some help

QC charges depending on how much battery u have left in your phone and some nonbrand chargers are pretty bad and they dont work as intended with some phones.
