I successfully created a cwm flashable zip from system image of a stock ftf file
BUt when i flashed it using cwm it installs and when it on it won't detect my sim card
NO sim card error:crying::crying::crying:
So,after i look closely in my ftf firmware what i see is there is a folder called boot and a file boot_delivery.xml which i didnt see in other ftf files
and there is no simlock.ta:laugh::laugh:
I guess because of this when i flash stock rooted zip it fails to detect any sim card amd lose imei
So how to fix this issue?
My device is Xperia M C1905 and the firmware version is latest 15.1.C.2.8
I will attach a screenshot of a ftf file

I just use the official J5 ROM, unpacked it by Android Kitchen, delete some apps from system/app and then repacking/rebuild it, the Android Kitchen created a Zip file for flash it, so i changed the .zip to .tar and tried to flash it by Odin and i got Fail, what's wrong?

Friend you can not flash zip files through Odin
You need to create zip file made with Meta inf folder which is having binary files of your device
I suggest you that try to read more what should have to do for zipping flashable files

hello community,
My setup:
latest version of Flashtool and Xperifirm
Sony Xperia X (F5121)
latest Drivers
Windows 10
I need a solution for that miracle
I downloaded a official firmware for my Sony Xperia X (F5121) , but when I go to convert the downoaded file using the decrypt wizard, it doesn't show anything in the firmware download folder (checked it twice, the chosen folder is the right one, xperifirm saved the downloaded file in it), ^^ what should I do?

Hi All,
I have a Mate 10 pro with TWRP, I have received a notification about a new OTA firmware and I cannot get it to start the process due to TWRP. As this phone does not have a MicroSD slot, I cannot put the UPDATE.APP file on such memory device.
I've searched for the stock recovery with no success and now that I have the update.zip file and extracted the UPDATE.APP file, I see multiple items that seem to be the recovery but Im not sure which one to flash. Please see the below image:
Now, Its a fact that if the recovery file is larger than 16MB, it won't flash via fastboot, so, I'm stuck here. Any help is appreciated!

I'm about to install AOKP ROM for my Asus Zenfone 2 (1080p)
couldn't find my device on AOKP devices page
but in an another page :

and found ota rom file and recovery.img file
do I just copy ota rom file and install the rom directly from the phone(my phone installs Ota updates that way)
or I need to flash that "recovery.img" as a custom recovery"??
I did install AOKP ROMs on other devices but they didnot work with their recovery.img
I had to use TWRP instead (I'm also aware of unlocking bootloader for my Asus)
