Hi all,
I'd like to write a new application to use the Samsung Hand-free mode. It's similar to default android car mode, but it's not the same thing. If you have got a Samsung phone with 4.3 you know it Older Samsung fw version called this mode "Driving mode". I searched on Samsung site if there are some public API but I didn't find anything and it's a little bit disappointing. Do you know where can I search or any tips?
Thanks.

Hey all, my name is Dan, long time lurker, first time poster.
I have done alot of research on the topic, but didn't find much in the way of this particular problem.
I currently have a SGS2 running Ressurection 1.8 and a Galaxy Tab 10.1 running the latest build of AOKP.
So basically the problem I'm having is that both of these devices are stuck in Bluetooth Legacy mode, and what I need is to somehow enable Simple Secure Pairing (SSP).
I have a bluetooth mouse that has no PIN. It was designed strictly for SSP use.
When my SGS2 was running stock 3.2.6 I had no problems pairing my mouse.
My tablet was running 3.2, and it would not pair, it insisted I input the correct PIN. There was no way to leave the field blank and continue, and inputting anything got you a failed pair.
Fast forward to now, I updated both devices thinking that SSP was the standard and now I'm sad to learn that Legacy mode seems to be the only way to pair any of my bluetooth devices.
So basically does anyone have any idea of SSP can be enabled?
Easy solution is to buy a new mouse.
But what would that solve? lol.
Thanks for readin.
Hello, I am new at this forum and I think you can help me. I just upgraded my Galaxy SII i9100G to ICS 4.0.4, but it appears in roaming mode all the time, even though it's linked to my home carrier. How can I change it to "normal mode" as usual? I have looked in settings but didn't found anything useful. Any ideas?
Thanks
Here seems to be similar problem: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1832692
Also would be great to include some basic info.. ROM, carrier, country.. etc..
Hello. I was hoping to find a way to instead of automatically opening the "Car Mode" when connecting my Samsung Galaxy S3 into the car dock, to automatically open Netflix instead. Does anyone know of a way I can achieve this? Your expertise is much appreciated. Thanks.
I have Samsung Galaxy K zoom and a Galaxy Grand.
So I was browsing through the features and came upon this. I was like "WOW!, I must use this!".
So I use it and it gave two options to connect. NFC and WiFi Direct. I knew my Grand doesn't have NFC and that it had WiFi Direct so I am good to go. I tried connecting it but it failed and said device is not supported.
Ok, I know and can guess that it cant because Grand is on different OS. JB.
So what does that mean?. Do I have to put the same OS (K5 has factory stock Kit Kat 4.4.2) on my Grand to make it work or will it not work either way?. Please dont tell me it will only with with another K zoom, S5 or S4 zoom because that sounds pathetic.
Also, screen mirroring doesn't work either.
Bump.
Apparently no one knows the answer to this?.

Hi Guys.
Sorry if this issue has been covered in the forums already. I cant find anything regarding this.
A few days ago both my Galaxy S9+ phones came up with a new notification which said "Phone not allowed for voice". I read up on it and somewhere someone said I need to have them Rooted.
I found a youtube video explaining how to do it. I followed the instructions perfectly. The phone just keeps hanging on the "Samsung Galaxy S9+, Secured by KNOX, POWERED BY android" screen. I am able to get into the TWRP menu from here but I just dont know what to do or to install to get the OS working again.
Anyone that can help me out with their knowledge PLZZ?
