Hi Varad297,
We are looking into Note I support. Our team is still small though and adding a single resolution isn't easy. If your phone is rooted however you can change the resolution which should allow to use it normally

F5
Now we have 2014 and N7000 still not supported..

Hi,
If you're able to change your resolution and DPI to say the Galaxy S4's settings, it may work, however we don't recommend this. Themer has been designed to work only on certain devices, hopefully the Note I can be added to that list in the future. Altering your Note's display settings can lead to problems later on for Themer, therefore modify these settings at your own risk. We apologize for the inconvenience but we currently don't have the resources to support more devices at this moment in time

We'll let everyone know when the N7000 will be supported, but for now we simply don't have the resources.

And what about n7100?

Yes, the N7100 is supported. It's only due to the N7000's unusual resolution.

APK located in those threads that work with the Note Tab.
I think this might just be a resolution issue, I looked at how to get this LWP to work for Nexus 7/you just change the DPI of the system. I tried playing around with different DPI's on my N2 and it would load without FC, but it was super zoomed in. Since we got auroa working, any chance of someone resizing this to work with the note 2?

fixed it
I made some adjustments to the dimensions of the background images (both the resources & in the code) and was able to reduce the size of the original apk considerably. The end result is being able to run the LWP without having to adjust DPI settings on my Nexus7. Perhaps this modified apk will work for your Galaxy Note 2 as well.
Update: I've attached a version with the background resized to 1024x600. I also attempted to remove the smallest width dp layout selector. I've been away for a while, so my skills are a bit rusty and I can't promise that any of this will make a bit of difference.
thanks for the effort but it doesnt work
i can get it to load by messing around with the dpi settings, however, it is super zoomed in. i think it is on a leaf or a blade of grass. if i don't mess around with the dpi, it just FC. progress.
works
hey thanks for your effort
it works now but its too small
for note 2 it needs to be 1440 by 780
please try to fix it cause i do love this wallpaper
your work is appriciated

Update from js. He said he has been busy lately and hasn't had a chance to work on it. He will once he gets some time, so we just need to be patient.
Not much changed from my previous post. Since I removed the smallest width dp layout selector from the 1024x600 layout and folks reported that it worked, I applied the same change to the 1280x800 version. I also further reduced the size of the background images to reduce the resource demands of the wallpaper.
I ran down the battery on my Nexus 7, so I wasn't able to test this one. Let me know if/how it works.
It's so cool. Can u make this work on sgs3 please

The images in the original are actually pretty big and the sizes are also hard coded in the application. I resize both in my version.

Please set your DPI to default as well as make sure that the soft keys are visible. Soon we'll look at supporting multiple DPI settings for devices.
Any progress with alternative DPI settings on the Nexus 5? I'd love to run a lower DPI, say 421 or 381 for example.

Not yet, as it's an immense process to get all the widgets, icons and wallpaper to align correctly. Right now when Themer is installed it looks at what the device is called and chooses the appropriate themes. Throwing in custom DPI's makes this a bit more difficult, but the development should still be able to implement soon. :good:

I've run some of this themes installing first on stock DPI and custom softkey, then after set up the theme reverted to my pref DPI, no issue at all on my side
potential cause
A potential cause of that error may be the tweaks you've made to the navigation bar through gravity box.
My debug info, current screen dimensions, says 1822x1080, DPI=480
Custom ROM and disabling my navbar mod, still no clue

Hi, your N5 screen dimensions should be 1776x1080. This means that your navigation bar might have been adjusted.
So which DPI setting should be applied? I tried 440, 480 and stil the launcher says the resolution is not supported. Could you assist?

Maybe try a resolution changer app. Xperia J support is on the way, but if you had to change the resolution to another device that is supported, it might just work. We can't be certain though and we rather recommend waiting until the official version is released for the Xperia J.

[Q] Latest viewable theme is "city", which is from ages ago?

Ello,
I have an Alcatel One Touch Mini running Jelly Bean on stock rom, and themer installs fine and I can apply themes.
However, when I go to 'browse' and then 'newest', to display the latest themes, the latest theme is "city", which is from a couple of months back. It would appear that I can't view any of the newer themes.
I've tried reinstalling themer but it doesn't help. My resolution according to "lcdspecs" is:
res - 480 x 854
pixels/inch - 240
I haven't knowingly installed anything which should effect it.
Does anybody have any ideas what's going on here? I want the greenly theme so badly!
Thanks

Hi, sorry we didn't get back to you on Facebook, was speaking to the rest of the team.
In theory your phone shouldn't be supported as it doesn't have soft keys (as far as we can tell). So only devices with a 480x854 resolution with soft keys are properly supported.
Did you root your device?
If it's completely stock, it might have been lucky that your phone supported themes up till now. Devices with a 480x854 resolution and no soft keys will be supported very soon though.

Okay thank you. Purely out interest, do you have any idea why they stopped working after the 'city' theme?
My phone is rooted using kingo root, but themer installed just fine before that was the case!
hmmm maybe the rooting is the problem then if it was working before, but as suport posted the resolution isn't supported

Ahh, you misunderstand me. Themer installed fine before I rooted and it installs fine now. It still has the issue with not displaying a massive proportion of the (seemingly newer) themes though.
but did it display them before rooting ?

Like we mentioned it could have been purely coincidence. Some themes aren't seen on other devices due to the complexity of the theme. If it completely stops showing any new themes though, then it might due to your device.

Sorry for bringing this thread back, but I have been thinking about this recently and think it's probably quite important.
So basically the situation as alread stated is:
1. Alcatel One Touch Mini phone
2. All themes released before the theme 'city' work
3. All concurrent themes don't
As far as I can work out, this theme was released in December. As such, at around about the time of that date, something changed within the programming structure of Themer which makes all concurrent themes incompatible with my phone.
I know that themer are trying to increase the list of supported models, so I would imagine this is a pretty important thing to note!
Just thought I would put it back out there.
Any further ideas? Surely coincidence does not apply here.
Thanks

Hi,
Unfortunately there's not much that our team can do. We don't have the resources to check why rooted phones have issues, especially ones that aren't fully supported (as mentioned, only a 480x854 resolution with soft keys is fully supported). The team probably removed a root-fix feature after that specific update as many people were complaining about crashes/bugs with devices that weren't supported.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but at this moment in time, our team don't have the time or resources to work on rooted devices.

Any intention to support multi DPI?
Alot of Custom ROMS allow easy changing of the DPI, Seems your limiting your potential market.
I Love Themer, I just cannot use it, as Landscape and Multi DPI do not work properly.

I completely understand the complexity of the multi DPI.
But has anyone considered some pre defined DPI's
So at least the user can get a Near Enough DPI, and then tweaking the theme to fit perfectly is only minimal changes.
Again just a theory, I have never really worked on DPI.

There's a strange relationship with a device's DPI and resolution, which is why many device aren't supported (such as the G3). We've tried what you've suggested, however "near-enough" isn't what the average user wants

Hi, unfortunately the Mega isn't supported just yet due to its resolution. Hopefully it will be soon though!
I have a rooted Nexus 5 with SlimKat ROM running. SlimKat changes the DPI by default, but using BuildProp Editor I changed it to the stock 445 DPI. However, Themer says my resolution is wrong. If I set Themer as my default launcher, I can press the home button and see the default Themer appearance, I just can't download anything from the app. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
I was running trents rom on the GN2 at 270 and it looked ok. I have gotten away from this application recently though.
