gPad Problem - Sony Xperia Z Ultra

Any one ever try gPad from mobisters? This app is very good and easy to customize. But it seems gPad was not supported by the developers any more.
Check it out:

The problem is I need to pull out the custom gPad I made via offline since there is no more support.
Any idea how to do that? Thanks.

[Q] LG Ally Kernels

So my friend broke his stratosphere and he was forced to be stuck with an LG Ally. I rooted it for him and put Bionix on it and so far it runs ok, but he complains of battery life.
I was going to try Velocity V0.4 and see if that did better, but I'd really rather not have him install all his apps again. So my question is this....
Is there an SBC kernel out there for the LG Ally?
Bump
Is LG Ally really that dead? SOmebody has to know something....
All the LG Ally development I have seen is over at Android Forums ht tp://androidforums.com/lg-ally/

[Q] Quick Question : Running an LG E400 Rom, on the LG L38C

I picked up a trackphone LGL38C from my local Gamestop, cheap, works, and I use it as a wifi device with no Intention to actually get service for the thing. I know that the E400 has identicle hardware, only difference is that the E400 is GSM while my L38C is CDMA, can I saftely flash the CM9 port for the E400 to the L38C and still have wifi? I feel like the answer will be yes, but I felt it would be best to check with others and get a general consensus, If I do kill it I can just pick up another for $20

Go for it. The differences are so minor between the two that it should work practically flawlessly.

I'm pretty sure this is a bust, I've tried flashing each of the nightly's and even some other E400 Roms, Just sits there. Thank god I backed up first.

LG Quick Remote for 5.0 AOSP?

I'm running CM12 (Lollipop 5.0/AOSP). Is there a Quick Remote that works for this yet? I tried the extracted 4.4 pack from this thread:
http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg-g3/439476-can-someone-package-quick-remote-apk-me.html
But when I run it, it crashes. Known issue? Wait for the OTA before it will work? Any thoughts would be great!

Most likely won't ever work with an AOSP ROM. Those features, like porting the LG camera (heads above any AOSP/CM/other camera), are specific to stock ROM. I imagine an IR blaster would be along those same lines. Would be pleasantly surprised if an AOSP remote app would ever work with our LG G3.
It's not specific to CM12, it's specific to all non-stock ROMs. With the whole Bump! drama, and CM11/CM12 being pulled, I'm betting the ROM never gets updated again, let alone an IR blaster or BT working.

They did it on the g2. So try imagining harder. And cm12 got updated 11/25 fyi
Try one from the market. Wavespark makes a good IR app. On my m7 I had to DL an app to replace the HTC one. The one I downloaded was better than HTC. HTC one was quick and easy, but market one allowed way more customization.

Hey mate! I had looked for some remote apps and wasn't able to find anything but didn't think to search for "IR" remotes. I tried the WaveSpark offerings and sadly they crash on the G3/CM12 combo. I'll keep looking and see if I find one that's compatible and functional.
Stay tuned for results

Wow, look at that, I was wrong. What exactly was updated on CM12? An incremental update wasn't what I meant. As for the G2, I don't know anything about that, I've never had an LG. I was wrong apparently. I did research, and tried a bunch of apps when I was on CM, none of them worked and all the threads I read said it was similar to the Stock vs. AOSP camera issue. I was wrong, sorry for speaking out of turn.
Hopefully you find a working app.

[Q] (do not install for programmers to view) Lost and Wanted again Sprint Lg g3 Wifi

I have been searching for sprints wifi calling application built in the original stock framework of the lg g3. I could make calls in my home through my sprint Lg G3 wifi and was crystal clear but I am now asking for help. I have searched for days for any info before I posted but most are saying it is not available for ROMS in the lg g3 phones. I found these apk files and was not sure if it could be an apk file that could be modified for rooted phones? I am currently on Illusion 2.11, which I like but any other roms included would be great, please let me know. I have no idea how much time is needed for this application, but it was nice before i rooted my phone. I will never go back to stock. I rather wait or go without but need input. I thank all the programmers for making android enjoyable. Happy Holidays!!!
DO NOT DOWNLOAD or INSTALL APK, since they only work for stock LG G3.
There are several other files on the stock ROM related to WiFi calling, including these, at least. Maybe more. Whether the feature is dependent on the stock LG ROM, I don't know.
SprintLocationQueryService
SprintWiFiCallLauncher
SprintWiFiCallSupport
and I think this one, too, but not positive: SprintExtentionProvider
Oh, and I don't seem to have the VoWiFi file on my LS990.
Question about Roms
How is the Barim Rom? I have been cautious going from one rom to another?

Barrin is excellent. Very stable, and very smooth. Probably not as smooth as the better AOSP ROMs, but much more stable. Everything just works.
As with any time you change from one ROM to another, do a clean flash.
Thank you. I will. Happy New Year

Best STOCK Style Rom

I love my Lg G3, though i want the most stock experience while rooted.
I do a lot of on the go facebook, Slacker Radio streaming via LTE and bluetooth streaming.
I would like to get most performance, least lag in the UI, best battery life possible etc.
Anyone have a good recommendation for a stock feeling rom with those listed?
Try HERE. Has alot of LG bloatware removed also.
