Hi everyone
I was wondering if it is possible to boot Ubuntu or other Linux distribution on android device using pendrive and USB OTG cable. I've got Ubuntu 12.10 installed on my pendrive and I can boot it nearly on any PC. It is any trick to do this on Android? For example using AndroidVNC and Terminal emulator?
Thanks for any replies
PS: my phone is WT19i with FlawlessICS v4.0 if this does any matter

I saw someone used usb hub contact usb mouse and keyboard. Can I use this and run Ubuntu or Win 95, like a real computer?
sorry for my English . I am Taiwanese.
Yes, you can.
Ubuntu for HD2 does support USBHost... and I think also some kernels built for Android.
Win95 is bootable from Windows Mobile, x86 emulated on QEMU.. it should be a bit slow.. and I don't think that on Windows Mobile there's the support for USBHost... so.. You can, but only with Linux (Ubuntu/Android).
Hi guys.
I've tried to run a android 4.0 on Virtualbox.
It does work good on my PC.
But I have a problem. As I'm unable to have internet on it. I have tried everything like bridging and nat and still no work.
Did any one know how able internet in Virtualbox ?
And to make SD CARD that I would be able to access from windows ?
I'm runing Virtualbox version 4.2.6 r82870.
I've tried connecting to my laptop using elementary os (based off ubuntu 12.04 core) and Ubuntu 14.04
I can use usb drives fine, but it will not connect to my kindle. I've tried installing gMTP and Calibre which seems to help other kindle users, but doesn't appear to help the HDX.
Those using Linux, please offer some suggestions.

is have asked in many forums but didn't got anything working.
so the whole story is, I own a Windows tablet from 2015 or something. recently I tried to install android x86 on it just for fun. I installed the BlissOS 14 x86 version and it ran great only that the tablet is overheating a lot and reboots. Now I want to go back to windows but what's going on is that the tablet is not detecting the windows bootable USB drive, it is only detecting the android bootable USB drives. every time I try to boot a windows USB it goes back to bios. i tried dozens of windows bootable tools and even changed between a bunch of drives nothing is working. please guys help me, I want my windows tablet back.
Update: I'm sorry to all who brainstormed on this, I am an IDIOT. I was trying to boot 64-bit windows into the 32-bit processor. Now everything works fine, Sorry Again.
What tablet is it?

Use Rufus software(https://rufus.ie/) to create bootable USB.
Bro,
Try Rescartux !
Burn it into a USB drive, then booting it!
Find a menu that "fix boot-stuff for windows"
Try every menu related to fixing windows Boot!
If that didnt give a Budge, U could try HirenBoot .
