[Q] unfortunately, battery has stopped working - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 3

I received my phone from amazon a for a few days now. (coming from sprint epic touch 4g)
My phone is stock and unrooted.
I keep getting the message "unfortunately, battery has stopped working." its a popups as my phone hangs/ freezes for a min or more.
I can turn the screen off but nothing else is responsive. i can't go into menus or reboot when it hangs.
it would appear several times.
Using a battery app my temp hovers around 88 F
on the second day i did a factory reset and it still occurred . the 3rd day i decided to do a factory reset without app backup . i did selective install on specific apps.
At first i seems it was facebook, but after uninstalling it would still get hangs with the pop up message.
what gives.. Any clues??

anyone seen this FC before?

the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly
it keeps FCing and restarting on its own, make the phone un-usable because everytime i try to press a button, it will freeze, put up this FC, and when i click "force close" it will close what i was trying to open, and the cycle starts over again
i'm stock with the new JI6 update via KIES mini, had no problems for 3 days, and last night the phone ran out of batteries while i was out of the house and when i got back, i plugged it in, turned it on and i got this FC as the phone was doing the start-up media scan thing.
it will show this FC everytime i reboot as well
under settings -> manage applications -> running services there is a service called 'contacts storage' which is governed by android.process.acore
that's the only other clue i could dig out
*edit* mine doesn't seem to have anything to do with facebook, however, i can't access my contacts as everytime i try, this FC will force me out of the contacts screen
I've seen them a lot of times. When I get them, I just re-flash a new ROM onto my phone. It usually happens when I do something stupid to my phone.
i didnt do anything to it! everything was working, even after i updated to JI6 ... nothing was broken till it ran out juice yesturday.
I'll get this when I do a Titanium restore and restore the system data by mistake.
This should be in Q&A not development.
Also, try clearing your caches in Clockwork Recovery

LG Optimus F3 Bricked? (Sort of, seeking help)

Ok the phone is:
http://www.lg.com/us/cell-phones/lg-LS720-Titanium-Silver-optimus-f3
LG Optimus F3
Android 4.1.2
T-Mobile pushed a OS system update on 12/3/13. After 3 weeks of the constant reminder, my girlfriend talked me into attempting to get the update to install last night.
So I moved all of her pictures to an external SD card, and attempted the update. With the phone fully charged & plugged into an outlet it failed several times. After checking available system memory I found that the unit had less than 100 mb. So I did a factory reset, to remove the many, many apps that were installed after purchase.
On initial boot the phone does not enter into a Setup Wizard like most handsets, instead it goes straight to the home screen (no lockscreen) and a warning is displayed. "Unfortunately, Home has stopped." and the only option is "OK". When attempting to navigate to the >System>Settings nothing happens (Black screen) & eventually you will get the "Unfortunately, Home has stopped." to display or occasionally "Unfortunately, SystemUI has stopped." or "Unfortunately, Settings has stopped.".
You are not able to answer a call, text, etc....Attempting to swipe down and choosing Quick Settings Browser, the browser opens and then closes with "Unfortunately, Home has stopped.". The app drawer will not open.
I've completed many, many (north of 20) hard factory resets by:
Powering off
Pressing Power+Volume Down+Home
Following the prompts of pressing "Power" twice to initiate & confirm the Factory Rest
The Green Android Bug is displayed and then back to the above problem of "Unfortunately, Home has stopped."
Forcing the unit into Safe Mode, and you get the same results as above.
My two complaints with this model is that it has very limited system memory & zero ROM support.
Being the phone is not rooted, neither is ADB set on the unit. So pushing another launcher to the phone is not possible that I'm aware of, also no means to enter fastboot.
When the unit was taking by the T-Mobile store stated the phone has been wet due to a pink indicator on the battery. We purchased the unit new and it has never by wet (We do live a couple of blocks from the ocean). So the T-Mobile store refused to service the unit. Also the unit was completely functional until attempting this system update.
Any suggestions? (tossing it in the garbage would be wonderful if I could afford a replacement, which I am not at this time).
Problem has been solved
Apparently LG has a software tool that reset's the phone to factory. WIN

With the One V, you had to flash the boot.img in fastboot. Sometimes I would forget and this would be three result.

You had it lucky. My phone, same one, is stuck at the LG screen. No animation, just a picture. It has been sitting like that for hours. I connected it to my computer, and it doesn't show up. I think it's screwed.

[Q] S3 Freezing, Unfortunately X has stopped

Hi guys,
I am having a very frustrating problem with my S3. I had the google.process.gapps stopping randomly for a few days, but that wasn't more than an annoyance. Last night, my battery run out and when I plugged my S3 it in and turned it on, all hell broke loose. Starting with the lock screen I have been getting non-stop "Unfortunately X has stopped" with X being anything from LogsProvider, NfcService, ContextProvider, SysScope and the already mentioned google.process.gapps. As long as I stay on the lock screen I can click these away...eventually. If I try to go into Settings or in the normal screen I get another batch of those messages, but this time the SysScope one, just keeps coming and coming and coming, so that I can't do absolutely anything. I have tried the same in Safe Mode but there wasn't any change.
Please tell me there is something I can do, other than a factory wipe.

Do a factory wipe.
As above, try a wipe first -but letting your battery run out can corrupt a partition. You may need to reflash your firmware.

[Q] [ZTE-Nubia Z5S] Unfortunately, System UI has stopped.

I bought the Nubia Z5s a year ago when I was living in China for half a year. the phone worked fin for me until about last march. At that point the screen simply stopped working. I disregarded the phone for a while and started using my old HTC One X again.
About a month ago I ordered a new screen for the phone from china, and installed it. All went well, the phone turn on again nog problem. I turned the phone on for the first time last Sunday afternoon. Put the SIM card in on Monday morning at around 8 AM before I left for work (I did use the WiFi on Sunday to download apps and such).
At exactly the moment I turned on my SIM (phone and data) the phone gave an error message: "Unfortunately, SystemUI has stopped". It gives me the options OK and Report, but both options do not end the endless appearance of the message. After a few reboots, and switching back to Airplane mode I got the phone to work again. I then searched the internet, and it told me to delete my Cache Partition. Now I use Stock Mod (with google services) so I have no idea how to use CWM nor do I know how to boot this phone into recovery mode (tried a few combinations). So I just went into the Settings>Apps menu and started clearing specific app caches. That seemed to work, did not get the error again.
The next day, again around 8 AM the same thing happened. This time the message was more persistent, harder to get rid of. Took me a dozen reboots and connection top my laptop to clear the message. Wednesday, same thing happened, again around 8 AM. Tried updating to latest version of the software, worked for a day.
Yesterday (Thursday) again around 8 AM same message. This time it would not go away. tried for over 3 hours. Reboots, connecting to PC, the whole works. So I tried a factory reset (did not erase data) worked, again for a day. 8 AM this morgning (Friday). same error message. Not been able to get rid of it yet. So I am guessing there is some corrupt app or service running every day around 8 AM (not a big believer in coincidence ). Is there any way to find out what process is causing this error? Or does anybody know something else I can try?
EDIT: I am able to preform some actions on the phone between the OK clicking (about a tap/swipe per time)
Tried resetting phone with erasing phone data this time. Still didn't work. Now trying reset without installing Google Services Framework. Am trying to determine if the phone has a problem with my service provider.

weird bootloop problem

I just got my umidigi a3 pro like a week ago and just today it started acting weird, the first time it just turned off and wouldn't turn on, after many tries it went back up. But after that, it got stuck into the umidigi screen, and it keeps turning on and off by itself.
I tried factory reset and wiping cache, then sometimes it would go into the google setup thing to setup the phone but after doing something like typing it would turn off and go back to start looping again.
So i flashed it with the official ROM, and now i got it working BUT if i restart the phone it would get stuck again. I tried to restart it many times and it got stuck, after many restarts it would boot sometimes.
Oh and i got some weird errors when it turned on sometimes like settings stopped working, gboard stopped working.
Sorry if i didn't give much details.
Any help would be much appreciated!
It's working now, but i noticed that it's getting warm/hot most of the times, even when idle.
And the cpu will go to 100% usage and frequency is going up and down on it's own, even if i just scroll or do simple things. Is that normal ?
battery temp is 35 on avg, cpu is 36 and goes up to 40 when reaching max frequency.
Thank you.
hi, what didi you do to resolve the situation of the phone?
