Can someone please post the latest supersu zip file. I have searched all over the internet and I cannot find the latest version. Chainfire's website link is down, and I cannot complete the flash on my htc one without the latest supersu. Can someone please upload a copy?

Thanks, but I'm not sure why, but this link is not working for me in firefox, chrome, or internet explorer. I would really appreciate if you can upload it to xda? I already unlocked the bootloader, but since I have Android 4.3 I need the latest Supersu, and the version I have currently will not root my htc one .

Now i still try to download the fullROM from needrom.com, here's the link

I'm going to try to flash a full rom and then if success with the flashing, i will then try to update OTA
A bit risky but i think thats the only solution i found for now..
Maybe this can give a refreshment since there's no answer yet..

Do you have ROW version? And is there any clue why some device can not be update?
I've even try a Factory Reset before updating, and yet still not succeeded..
I have install some root app like, titanium, and viper4android, maybe some of my root application cause the failure..
As i know that viper4android is adding some features in system during driver instalation..
Can you list your root application that you've installed, so that i can predict which app that might cause my updating failure..

i have titanium,, greenify, setcpu ,smanager,xposed installer,adaway, supersu, root explorer
Did you try unrooting te device and update?
The problem is with the build.prop file.
The hash of the file is beeing compared while flashing the update. There is a new update S141_150109
Flash the full rom wipes everything.
You can update OTA without problems if the build.prop is untouched which in my case isn't because I changed the locale and did not backup the file.
Please someone upload the original file.

I made it. I found out why the updater won't update. I will upload a TWRP flashable zip.
This is an update from S139 to S141_150109 just flash though TWRP.

I allready have that ROM but i cannot install it with the flashtool.. Not detected in my PC, even with several driver still not working.. I Think we need someone who allready success installing that ROM to share the step by step tutorial..
k920 OTA issue
I am in the caribbean far from everyone and my k920 works well. The phone I bought came rooted and so banking apps don't work and also ota does not seem to work . can anyone assist me in fixing this issue ?

I am rooted, but on stock lenovo recovery, and still have problem to update from 141 to 143.
I try to unroot with supersu, but no luck. I dont wont to install fresh stock rom because it will wipe data. You mention something with build.prop, is there the problem?Can you please help me?

Hi, I flashed the CM13 rom today without problems but it says now that my phone isn't rooted anymore
tried flashing supersu but i get stuck in bootlogo
tried Developer options/root/Apps and ADB, still it says not rooted

You need to flash SuperSU 2.67. @gladiac has a patched boot..img.. I'm sure he'd share his work with you

Got the same problem seems like the root mode in the dev options is not working. I flashed SuperSu and it's recognised by Root checker. If TWRP asks you to root the device before booting, do NOT swipe to install

Of course I would! But I'm still on 20150220 as I was planning to skip the current version so I did not patch the newest boot.img yet. If there is demand I can still do it though.

What about kingo root, king root
Actually king root rooted devices I had.
All you need is install king root latest version.
Once i rooted my lenovo and uninstalled by mistake and again tried rooting. But it wasnt rooting
I solved because it needed latest version of king root

go to https://autoroot.chainfire.eu/ and download the right recovery file for your model and write it using odin... if you interested in this kind of rooting method ask me for further instruction

Did look up twrp recovery for SM-j120zn all over internet but unable to find one. The one in the link above is for a different model/build (SM-j120F)

SM-j120F will work for your model too just only check the first letter j120 the last extension (F,zn,etc..) mostly are not significant when we talk about custom recovery because those extension just tell's which network carrier handle that device so go head and check it your phone will not bricks........ if it stack on sumsung logo you can write the stock recovery via odin

Thank you so much for your clear and systematic instructions and your patience. Did as you suggested today and it did not brick the phone. After this step, managed to work through the other steps (flash SuperSu and Xposed framework for Samsung) and installed Xprivacy just now.
Just one last question-Have flashed SuperSu v 2.79. Would it have been better to flash BETA-SuperSU-v2.74-2 as you suggested in your post above?

It's better to flash the latest version of SuperSU because it add new exploit for new phones model... if the root is success with v2.74 no need to looking for the beta version which is the last one but if rooting is not success download the latest version of SuperSu the one with BETA prefix.... Hi i need your help i have an Honor 8 frd-L09 and im trying to install a Custom rom AOSP but to do that through twrp i need atleast version 3.2.1 but i have 3.1.1 i tried installing it by downloading it from the official website and then either flashing it using ADB or by using twrp recovery but it didnt work no matter how new or old the version was.Then i realized that there was a difference in the version on the website and mine even if i had tried installing 3.1.1 from the website it didnt work the difference here i think is that my version(3.1.1-1-frd) and theirs(3.1.1-0-frd) the number at the end was different so then i tried searching for a newer version that had the 1 at the end but no luck i didnt find any.So Please if you can help me Please do

It gives you twrp error 7 right? Simple, you don't have to upgrade twrp, just extract the ROM and then: go to Meta-Inf, then google then android then open updater-script and delete the first 2 line, repack the ROM and flash it... Hope it'll help...
