well I tried to enter recovery on few kernels. I tried pressing power button after the phone vibrate and on diffrent kernel volume down
BTW. I wanted my phone to turn off so I made a hard reset . Maybe my phone lock/freeze and I need to wait till battery dies ?

Its power up I guess....
Also you can flash ftf by force shut down and then connecting in flashmode.

Yes. It does for me (I use the official flashtool) but it should work with the other flashtool as well

Yes. Flashing fTF needs your device to be in "flashmode".

Since I'm not able yet to post into the development forums:
I have decided to finally mod my Xperia S as well (did that only with HTC's before), and after unlocking the bootloader and slap Advanced Stock Kernel on it, i wanted to flash KA09 Xperia SSpeed. At first it all went well, no errors during installation but then i wanted to reboot, and the phone went into a permanent bootloop. There's the Sony startup screen with the Advanced Stock Kernel writing underneath, the blue LED flashes shortly, the phone vibrates, then it starts all over again.
I have tried SEUS but to no avail, since the phone will always restart, hence disconnecting to the PC. I also can't boot the phone into fastboot or recovery, or anything for that matter.

hold the power button + volume up then wait till it vibrates 3 times, your phone will power off. then you can use the SEUS, i think its via fastmode (power+volume down) to reflash or u can use flashtool to reflash ur firmware.
this is what i did when im stock on bootloop before (because i dont have back ups).
1. installed flashtool
2. download ftf
3. paste the ftf on c:\firmwares\
4. open flashtool then click the lighting icon, choose fastmode, choose ftf and wait until it says (power off phone then connect via fastmode), since your phone is power off all u need to do is to connect the phone and then hold the power button+ volume down.
5. then it will reinstall your firmware.
6. after reinstalled, flash advanced stock kernel.
7. then make back up of your rom so you dont need to reflash your firmware in case of bootloop.
now that was a quick reply, thank you very much. will try this and will post how it went!
Same problem
MichaelxHell, did it work, did you solve it?
If you did please let me know how you did because i have the same problem, will try what he said above too.

I was flashing ka xperia kernel (via recovery) over Advanced stock kernel and got this weird bootloop.
Sometimes i couldnt even start the freaking phone. So what i did was when the phone finally started and the botloop started i long pressed Vol Up and powerbutton for about 5sec (after the phone vibrates three times) so it would shut down, since i could not enter fastboot while it was bootlooping. Then held Vol Up (not Vol Down) while plugging in usb, only then i got to enter fastboot.
Then i only reflashed advance stock kernel (ics9.elf) and it finally booted back.
Might be helpful

Use fastboot and try flashing Advance stock kernel forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1729280 and see if its booting

When you go from STOCK STOCK you should first prepare by doing a backup and then erasing everything before even trying to install a custom ROM or another kernel.
When you install a kernel that has recovery, before trying to install the custom ROM be sure to wipe data/factory reset and then wipe dalvik cache and fix permissions.
Then you can install the custom ROM and after that be sure to also install the patched KA09 zip.
And even after that, remember, that is a development ROM not completely stable at all.

From the CM 9 zip extraxct boot.imp.
Switch the phone off, Hold power and volume up until it 3 times vibrate. Connect your phone holding volume up button to pc and you are in fastboot mode. Then in flashtool, click on flash, use fastboot. Choose the boot.img you extracted. This will flash the kernel from CM rom and will let you use CWM made for CM9. Then start your phone and go to CWM, keep pressing volume down. Then choose CM zip and flash, wipe data, dalvik and cache.
I expect that you have the zip on phone already and you did backup your data...

Seems like kernel problem, so it won't flash rom properly Solution above should solve it. Please confirm if solution given working. If still persist maybe not kernel problem as expected.

Hey, I'll explain you what I did ;
After I rooted my device, I booted the device and it worked. After that, I installed CWM, tried to turn on the device and it doesnt work! stuck on boot animation..
Soo...I downloaded SiyahKernel which is the most basic and for major users kernel. You can download it here :
http://www.gokhanmoral.com/?cat=5
You install ODIN on your PC, open it, and click on PDA and open the kernel you downloaded(siyah kernel), you put your device on Download Mode (you press volume down, home, and power button. you will see the download mode screen, it will ask you to press volume up or volume down, PRESS THE VOLUME UP! THIS IS THE ONLY WAY ODIN WILL FIND YOUR DEVICE!). And than on Odin you press start. Hope it helped
after flashing pantom kernel v1.1b on my xperia P it wont boot.. it wont charge as well..
response of my phone:
when i plugged in the charger the led indicator turns red then it after 2 to 3 seconds, the led indicator will off.
when i press down the power button and the volume up, the led indicator turns violet.
when i press down the power button and volume down, the led indicator turns green.
any solutions?
thanks

Click the lightenin icon (flash) select flashmode and then select the file you download, clear all wipes and exclusde everything but kernel, then flash.
This should flash onlu kernel.
If your bootloader is locked, don't flash any custom kernels.

As I don't follow CM11 development I have no clue.
Those are nightlies so you can expect issues.
Take logcat for those FCs and attach them to your question there.

yes you can. get a kernel compatible to the rom you flashed.
flashing stock rom thru flashtool might be a better idea tho. then start again from scratch, make sure you got it right this time.

Do i need to check "No final verification"?
Okay, i just stated up flashtool and started flashing the .54 firmware, Checked no unkown sources. Started flashing. Flashtool finished and said i need to reboot my phone, what i did: Disconnected USB cable, waited 1 minute and booted up phone... Now i just got the "old" bootanimation... and still bootloop (from the rom in the first post) so its looks for me that flashtool "didnt flashed" my phone i also tryed sony update service but thatone said it cant flash .54 because i got constom firmware....
I got it! if flashed ONLY THE KERNAL from .54..... Who has a good .tft of the whole stock rom? And how can i charge my phone when it is in bootloop? i think my phone is almost empty now...

Try to rurn it off firt, power + volume up untill you feel (1+) 3 vibrations, see if it charges then.
If you have used PC Companion before, start repair, and wait till file download is complete and PCC ask you to connect in flash mode, close PCC and built the FTF with flashtool.
