Alright, what ROM were you on?
Can you get to DL or recovery mode?
We could guess what happened, but we won't

Guess your motherboard is Dead(www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WQ5HCoFiCk), as informed by Sun90, you should go to service centre and get it replaced.
If they confirm that your motherboard is dead, you can do it yourself by ordering motherboard from Ebay and installing it with help from youtube!!
Your Call!!
Thanks!

Aww the main reason for this I guess is cos your phone did not have sufficient charge n so it died off while in emergency mode!

btw from which service center u got ur phone repaired??
i will go to Janak puri service center
my advice for you is to tell them that the phone turned off because it ran out of battery, you plugged the charger but nothing happened so you decided to come to warranty.

LOL... not necessary that every one are...but buddy, don't worry as you haven't done any physical damage (Hopefully!), you should not have a problem getting it back to order...Just walk to any authorized service center and tell them that phone is not responding...don't know why ? They should take care of rest

I was flashing my O1 20C firmware, then mi usb cable moved a little, and disconnected, the flash stoped and the phone didn´t respond, so I unplugged, the O1 was on a yellow screen and I removed the battery, when I tried to turn it on it never did again, I taked it to my carrier, I said "it turned it off and never came back" and they gave me a new one.
If your phone is not turning on anymore you should say goodbay to him, I tried everything and nothing worked.

Hi Guys!!,
I have an S2 and sadly while doing an update through ODIN, it was interrupted in between and got "ODIN FAIL " message. After that, I tried doing a hard reset, soft reset and even connecting my phone to different computers but somehow there seems to be no life in the phone. Good news is, I know there is nothing wrong with the hardware(as i got it checked by a technician). I just want to know how to start the phone, just to see the symbol, so that i can have it reflashed.Battery has also been completly charged , yet no change
Model:- i9100
Please help.. you guys are the only ones who can help

1. Is there any sign of life at all in the phone? Can the phone light up at all?
2. Remove the battery for few minutes ( up to 10mins), the try again if there is sign of life)
If after trying 1 and 2, there is still no sign of life in your phone, then you can simply conclude that Your bootloader has probably been messed up, and therefore your device is hardbricked!
Solution 1:
1. JTAG repair
2. Samsung service repair (free if your device is still under warranty)

Thanks for the quick reply. Sadly, in the middle east, Service centers are not that great and my hone is not under warranty as it got expired on 30/08/2012.
I have a feeling that you are right about the boot loader being messed up.. so how do i get it working??? I mean what is JTAG? Thats something i havent come across

Have you tried a USB Jig? If you can get into download mode with it you can flash a new firmware through odin, and if not then Jtag probably the only thing that would help.

Have you tried removing the battery for a while (10 minutes) and then reinserting n charging via wall charger (not via computer's USB)?
If yes, what happened?

I was using my phone the other day everything was fine I put it down looked back to it and I saw it was off I just thought the battery was flat I brought it home to charge and it wouldn't charge.
When I try to charge it nothing happens but on the back around the area of the camera gets hot. I took this to a repair shop down the road and they said that they fix a lot of the phones by changing the flex at the bottom, I tried this but that still doesn't work.
What is wrong with it? Is it software or hardware?
Why does that area get hot?
This is a last ditch attempt before I just sell the phone on for spares but it would be great if anyone could help!
Thanks

Hello! I have a problem:
Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 doesn't start up. Doesn't turn on recovery (Stucks on Galaxy S3 logo)
Download mode doesn't show product number (see picture). If I plug USB cable in it shows me that my battery is low, but doesn't charge it. It shows the logo of empty battery only. I tried put another CHARGED battery into this phone, but it doesn't help.
Everything works well earlier, it starts when my battery discharged.
Can somebody help me please?

Hi XDA,
My S3 shut down itself one day and never turned back on. It was always on stock ROM and has:
No response when plugged into any charger.
No response to a working jig.
Is it completely dead?

Hi there ,
just tell me more clearly what is the proclem with your device and give me its model no.
Does it "get warm" when you charge it? If so, try this, you lose nothing.

Too bad I don't know Linux aside from bootable Linux used to save files from corrupted Windows.
