Hello there.
I contacted Bastex about a couple of scratches on my cover. They aren't very organized in my experience but I was able to send the product back and did get a replacement.
Maybe that helps.

Amazon is just the middle man, you always have to return a defective product to the manufacturer. Of course Amazon would refuse it.

Contact them directly. If I recall, there was a slip of paper in your box with contact details. I sent mine back just because I didn't like it. Haven't got a refund yet, but there are pretty responsive to my emails. The even sent me a prepaid mailing label.

They have a 30 day return policy for any circumstance short of you just destroying it yourself. They also have a 180 day warranty. Like the previous guy said follow the instructions on the return paper.

if you bought it with amazon prime, then it should go through the return center as long as it hasnt been more than 30 days.
If it has been longer than 30 days you contact amazon, sometimes they can help you anyways. If it wasnt prime, I think your stuck dealing with the seller

Advanced replacement for touchpads dead.

I was offered advanced replacement a week and a half ago and today called to take them up on it. HP no longer offers advanced replacement on touchpads. Repairs are normal but Advanced replacement is no longer an option. Oh well.
They must have completely run out of any stock they had left.
No.. they still allow normal repair or replacement, jsut not advanced.
What's the difference?
Advanced is quicker, usually a week from leaving your house to getting back to your house. The standard takes like 3 weeks I believe.
I don't think advanced replacement is dead.

16GB partitioning worked. On the phone with HP to send it back a second time.... Guy on the phone says there are 2 possible problems that cause this, one software and one hardware. Guess I got the hardware problem.
EDIT: HP guy told me it isn't fixable and is sending an advanced exchange and waiving the advanced exchange fee.... so we'll see how well the replacement fares.

Well that pisses me off, because the lady I talked to told me they no longer did advanced replacement and sent me a box. I am getting tired of HP, first they dont fix my TP, then they fix it but cause a new issue, then I got offered advanced replacement, then they tell me advanced replacement is no longer an option and are sending me a box.
I wonder if their doing it for him because his issue is not repairable and mine is.

Looks like I killed a portion of my screen... any suggestions?

I noticed today that when I tried to hit "e" button, it would hit "w" or "r" which was getting annoying. I thought maybe my build (Epinters JB) might have been having some problems.
Well after some reasearch, it looks like a line of my touchscreen is not functioning. Here is a screenshot from the Dev Tools "Pointer Location"

So my question is what options do I have... is it game over for my lovely Atrix? is this a fixable problem?
Thanks for the help!
The same thing happened on my EVO 3D. I replaced the digitizer and LCD and it works fine now. If you feel up to it you could purchase the parts and replace it yourself.

I don't think there's any need to replace the LCD. Just the digitizer and it should be fine.
Where can I find the proper item? Did you follow specific directions?

You can find it in ebay, search for 'atrix digitizer', a friend of mine bought one a few months back for less than 40 USD.
As for how to do it, here is a good tutorial.
I purchased an oem one http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0053EYGEO/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00 I bought one before and it was not oem. Attracted more fingerprints, broke rather easy, and didnt have tint where the sensors were. So I recommend paying the extra couple bucks for oem. The seller I got it from (Seller1on1) actually issued me an RMA because i broke the ribbon cable by mistake. Which definitely scored some serious brownie points. Just be careful you don't buy an inferior or refurbished product.

Asus: Great products, abysmal support.

About 35 days ago, I requested an RMA for my prime. I got it. 10 days ago, I sent my prime, and it was received on the 19th. I had until the 21st for it to arrive, so it arriving on the 19th was good. I have been unable to track the status of the repair, and upon contacting asus today, I was told that they are accusing me of CID. this charge is entirely fraudulent. My prime is in pristine condition, with 2 pics of it in the shipping box to back that up. Anyone else had a terrible experience RMAing their prime?
Update: This is what they are claiming is CID. It is a group of LCD bright dots.

I love my Prime, but Asus post-sale support *DOES* suck donky-balls.
I'm not impressed in the least. Much as I despise Apple, they do offer great support.
I lost a couple of the rubber feet on my docking station. I sent an email message to Asus support asking how I could get some replacements (hopefully at no charge). These chowder-heads wanted me to do an RMA... FOR RUBBER FEET!!
'Last thing I'm going to do is send in my dock for something like that.
One important thing you didn't mention in your posts: What was the reason for your RMA? Why were you sending it in? For the white spots or for something else?

Anybody else get scammed for a case?

I ordered a case from www.galaxys4flipcase.com about a month ago. I found the website just searching google for bumper cases. i have not received my case yet and after i contacted customer service they told me that their tracking says it was already delivered. they will not give me my tracking number so i can look it up myself though. Instead they told me to check my local post office or to just wait and it will eventually be here. I paid for the case through pay pal so i am going to file a claim through them and my credit card company soon to get my money back.
has anybody else oredered from this website?! any luck?
I would suggest not to order from this website, even if they are legit they have horrible customer service and horrible shipping times.

so ironically, the day after i make this thread i got my case in the mail. So for anybody who is wondering this website is NOT a scam.
However, if you are expecting quick shipping and quality customer service you will not get it through this website. it took me over a month to receive my case and after exchanging a few emails with the company they stopped responding to me all together.

Nice Skins for Flip Z

I am not associated with this shop, but just ordered 2 skins, they run 60% off next 10 hours, some awesome designs: https://www.slickwraps.com/ UPDATE: It's a scam site unfortunately, i ordered from them and didn't get reply, had to file report with PayPal to get refund.
There is another one for fellow Canucks https://dbrand.com/shop/samsung-galaxy-z-flip-skins look at the Robot Camo. I didn't buy from them, so cannot tell if its good or bad.
Ordered my skin over a month ago with no reply I'm pretty sure I got scammed like make others. Even with their 60% off which apparently resets everyday. Such a flakey company.

Sorry, i recommended the https://www.slickwraps.com/, they are definitely a scam, i had the same situation, had to file report with PayPal and got refund back
They are not a scam but their custom service sucks and it takes about a 2 weeks to a month to receive the skins.
I've ordered custom ones for my fold as well as basic ones for me pixel 4xl and GS20U.
Woodgrain looks pretty good on these, this one specifically is slickwraps mahogany
