Tired of hand cramps with the S Pen? The pen that comes with the Microsoft Surface works well, even has the clicker.

I recently purchased an original c pen made in korea and it is so unresponsive and when in s memo for example , to draw a line it draws and in the middle of drawing it stops and then continues to draw again.
In messaging when i press on buttons most of the time keys are not pressed
But metal tip of c pen works pretty well unlike rubber tip.i have to press a bit hard to get it to workn
I dont see any problems in touch test in *#0*# test menu.
Any suggestions?

Found this spot on my OG that if you put a magnet on it opens car mode, just found it odd
Any uses for this?

Great find! This likely means that a car dock was at least planned for the phone. I hope LG didn't scrub the idea, as I would love a specialized dock.
Good find! Works on my phone as well.

I tried this with a magnet behind the phone, left side, right below volume down button and it is working great. Very nice find indeed!
Can I see some SPen examples or atleast told a few things they can do ? Maybe I don't have any uses for it or just don't know its benefits of what it can do ?
Or pointed to another thread I missed on its advantages of picture manipulation or CAD examples or anything ?

Like if you hold the button on the pen and make a arrow pointing left it will act just like the back button
More stuff like this ???

I like using mine for handwriting to text. With spen switcher it automatically changes from Swype to the stock keyboard in handwriting mode when I remove the pen.
I like to use it for navigation on the device. GMD spen control is what Samsung's gestures should have been.
I also like to use it with photo editing apps.

Settings->S-Pen-> S Pen Help.
Not sure why people have so much trouble finding that. I went through it the first day I had the phone.

Sorry im a Dumb a$$ but there should be more example than the help files show to use the pen. The help files are vague anyways. If that is all the pen does it dont really compliment the n2 as much as I thought.

The spen can also act as a mouse hover on websites like NBA.com

The s-pen also automatically scrolls for you. If you're using the pen and you hover near the bottom of the page the page will scroll down with no other action on your part.

I prefer to use a screen protector on my Smartphones. But with the Z Ultra when using a Brando protector I was surprised that my new Sony ES22 stylus did not work well at all. The sensitivity seems to be reduced. Would be good to hear about your experience with stylus input for hand written input. Thanks in advance.

Good suggestion. Pencil input works as normal so the issue may be with the stylus. Strange.
Edit - changed screen protector and input sensitivity improved so perhaps the stylus is designed to be used without a screen protector.

Even with my matte screen protector, I get ghost touches when a little of my finger sweat/dirt is on the screen. Does this occur with the thicker tempered glass screen protectors as well?
I have a normal screen protector (HD as they call it) and yeah i have that problem. The touch is just too sensitive

I had that problem on the normal one too so i switched to the thicker antiglare one....still getting it! Thinking of switching over to the even thicker glass screen protector
This is actually because of the pencil/pen input i think. I can live with it though. Doesn't bug me too much. Might get better with further updates, who knows right?

If you are rooted you can change the screen sensitivity, you will have to search for the thread though, either in the ZU or Z1 sections
