Okay so I rooted my Samsung Galaxy Express about a week ago using Cyanogenmod, and everything was working fine up until tonight. As I was in a middle of a text, m phone began to go black and when I would try to turn it back on again the buttons would light up but the phone wouldnt come back on. Since my battery was almost about to die anyways, I figured this was the problem and let it charge, which it did. However, when I went back to turn it on, it wouldnt boot up all the way. It would only go as far to show the words Samsung. Sometimes it will show the CyanogenMod symbol but it will only stay up for a few short seconds and then turn off. I tried rebooting it from recovery mode but as soon as I get it there, it turns off and tries to turn on itself and fails.
Does anybody know whats going on with my phone and how to fix it?

Hey everyone. This is a quote from androidforums.com it is not my own writing, but this is my exact problem.
"Hey everybody, i recently bought a Sony Ericsson Xperia x10i and thought i should root my phone, using the following tutorial:
Newbies Guide to Rooting X10 and giving you the newest firmware! - xda-developers
So, i was following the steps and after i completed step 5, my phone refused to turn on. At first, the phone would initially vibrate like normal and the LED light would turn green, but then immediately turn off. 5 seconds later, the phone would start constantly vibrating with a black screen and the phone would become unresponsive. To turn it off i had to remove the battery.
I then downloaded the Sony Ericsson PC companion and tried to repair my phone. However, it did no good. Now my phone does the initial vibration, except this time the black screen would lighten up slightly and just stay like that.
I then attempted to charge my phone overnight and when i woke up it just flashes 3 red lights where the LED light is.
could somebody please help me? i only bought my phone 3 days ago and would be a COMPLETE waste of $600 if i was unable to get a replacement phone due to the void of warranty due to rooting.
Is there any way of fixing the phone? If not, is there any way of removing any trace of me rooting or attempting to root the phone (without turning the phone on since i can't) in order to use my warranty?"
My phone has now gone so flat (and doesn't seem to charge) that i can't enter flash mode.. although it was working last night before i went to bed and i did manage to update it using SEUS. But it wont boot up properly. Any ideas? I have noticed that there are a few other people that are having the same problem.. but no one seems to have a solution.
I have also noticed that it runs in a loop. When i plug it in the red light flashes for a while, then attempts to turn on.. and does the black screen for a while. Then it runs out of battery and goes back to the red flashing light. then it repeats.
Hope you can help. Thanks.
Have you tried flashing new firmware with flashtool?
As i tried to explain above.. my phone wont enter flash mode as it is too flat. And it wont charge. when i take it off the charger and try and turn it on. it flashes red three times then a break then three times again and so on.
Any ideas on whats going on?
would it be possible to still claim in on warranty as it wont start properly and wont connect to the computer.
My Samsung Stratosphere turned itself off sometime and now is rebooting to the Samsung logo, and then turning back off, and rebooting (a couple times earlier it booted to the main android menu, but turned back off immediately afterwards) and when I plugged it into the charger it acts like it's charging and then turns off and acts like it's charging and over and over again, even when the battery indicates that it's at more than half full.
Does anyone know what's happening? (no custom ROMs or anything, it's all standard btw). I took the battery out and everything and it still does the same thing when I put it back. I tried to do a factory reset, but the recovery mode screen always jumps away when I try to activate it (I press both Vol+ and Vol-, recovery mode screen comes up but goes instantly, then the phone goes into a boot loop again).
Please help, thank you!

Hi, I'd recommend sending the phone into warranty, add the phone isn't rooted, you can't do much.

Had same problem on 3 phones. This is a connection problem within the phone. Disassembly & cleaning contacts often helps for a while, but problem comes back. Bumping the phone on the side or top, often allows it to work properly, for a short while, and so does squeezing it, in certain places. Get a new one, since the problem will re-cur.
Today while getting lunch my GS4 shut off and wouldn't turn back on. I am running Hyperdrive RLS18.1, and it has been working fine up until today. I have tried everything to get it to boot past the samsung custom logo. The steps I take to get it to the logo are- 1) Take out the battery 2) Put battery back in 3) Screen boots up with samsung logo(if it is plugged into the charger it shows the charging battery then goes to black) 4)the screen turns off. I have tried putting it into download mode by holding the home-power button-volume button combo, but it won't boot into download mode. I tried plugging it into the computer and it doesnt recognize it because it is off. I have two different batteries that I tried to put in the back, but they both do the same thing. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about fixing this? And if I go into the verizon store and my phone gives the samsung logo with custom underneath it will they uphold the warranty? I doubt since rooting voids it....Thanks for any help in advance!
After trying some more options to fix the phone, I was able to get it into download mode, but then the screen turned off again. I realize that the problem is the screen won't stay on for more than a second or two. No matter what comes up, the screen turns off. But when plugged into the computer, it also just shuts down.

I actually had this phone before the bootloader was locked, I think. I never had to use it to root.
I have no idea why this worked, but after letting my phone sit all night, I tried this video -https://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_1286109531&feature=iv&src_vid=SSLZFmhmBlc&v=uc0afHKahR4 . I have no idea why it worked, but it did. So if anyone comes upon this thread and has this problem, feel free to contact me and I will try to help you fix the problem.
My brother has a Nabi 2, and it was running fine for a while, but now everything's gone weird. It woun't boot up, and the screen only stays black, with nothing else on it. So first, we found that the Nabi was indicating that we needed a new charger, so he bought one. But it's been charging for a really long time, and there is still a black screen when you try to turn it on. I had rooted it, and I haven't messed with anything since. It has been stable for a couple months before this happened. If you go to turn it on while it's plugged in, the charging LED will change to green for a second, then switch back to red. The weird part is, this only happens if you hold down the power for 10 seconds or so, as if you are turning it off. I realize this isn't a common tablet, but I'm hoping there's something that anyone knows that will help my little brother.
Hi! When i woke up, i saw a blinking snapchat notification so I wanted to wake my screen up and check it. But when i pressed power button/home button - nothing happened. I've tried for about a minute an still nothing, so i pulled out my battery, pulled it again, pressed power button and my phone booted into the "samsung galaxy mega i9205L logo. After 5 minutes i tried to turn it off by the button, but it didn't work so i pulled the battery out again. Now it doesnt turn on completely Phone is not rooted. Any solutions?
P.S. If its possible i want to keep my photos and videos. They are really important to me.
EDIT: I was charging the phone whole night.
Almost the same happened here. Yesterday evening I connected my i9205 to the (official Samsung) charger and I went to sleep. This morning the alarm on my i9205 didn't go off. When I checked the Phone I saw a grey batterysymbol with a white circle in it. I switched off the Phone and switched it on again. I saw a message that the memory was corrupted and the Phone needed a factory reset. I tried this several times but the Phone didn't work anymore. Now I have a blanc screen when I start it up and that's it. Only the backlights stay on. Any help would be welcome!
