[Q] Need any Android device that will work with Blackmagic Intensity Extreme

Hi,
I've got the Blackmagic Intensity Extreme because I make demo's of iOS devices and want to use it also for any Android phone or Android tablet that allows me to demo it too. I'm happy with ANY device that:
- allows mirroring of screen (so real mirroring, of apps/ interaction etc.)
- allows HDMI output, but not with HDCP protection when mirroring
I tried the Galaxy Note and Galaxy S2 with a HDMI convertor, but failed.
Do you know of any Android device that I can use to make demos with HDMI output?

[Q]Possible to show different app on HDMI?

I have an android tablet that I need to display one application on its screen and another out the HDMI port. I havent been able to find out if this is possible. This would be similar to the windows ability to "extend" the desktop out multiple monitors.
Nevermind. I was able to track down that the base android OS does not support dual monitors.

[Q] Samsung SideSync on non-Samsung devices?

I've ran a search but didn't have much luck - has anyone hacked SideSync to run on non-Samsung devices (an Xperia Z1 Compact in my case)?
If not, are there any alternatives that offer exactly the same functionality (ie totally mirroring an android device on Windows 8)?
Thanks,
*EDIT* Didn't realise Mobizen had a PC app version - I can only get it to work via a USB connection though so I'm still open to alternatives!
Support (push)
I own a tab s and a non samsung smartphone and want to use side sync .
Is this possible ? Any solutions ?

HDMI vs. Internal Display in Android 5.0+

Hello all,
I was wondering if there is a workaround or an app to trick Android that you are on an internal display rather than connected to HDMI Port, similar with the "fake WI-FI" apps.
As a reason, I own a 5.1.1 Android Player, connected to a TV via HDMI, and when I try to use a paid movie streaming app, it is requesting to disconnect the external display. Similarly when I connect my Note 3 to a TV with MHL cable, same app is requesting to disconnect the external display. So it is working ONLY on internal displays, whether phone, tablet or SMART TV, which is a rude limitation for the payer, probably for copyright worries of the owner.
I would be very grateful if someone could point me a solution. The Android player manufacturer is stating that since Android 5.0 there is a signal regarding HDMI connection in Android system which triggers the app to block its usage, and I can confirm that on Android 4.4.4 there were no problems running the app on an external display (tested on another player running on 4.4.4).
Many thanks, in anticipate!
Enjoy!

Android device suggestions needed for a custom app

Hi all,
I'm hoping I can get some suggestions for an Android device to target for a custom app running in Kiosk mode. Just a quick background: app is for internal use so will not be released externally. I currently use Java (JavaFX) on Raspberry Pi - it is v stable. Android device will hook up to the monitor + speakers and ideally will have ethernet port. Device reliability is of course important.
What the app will do when it receives a message from GUI:
Play videos
Display time
Text/Images
I'm hoping to add customer interaction as well at some point so perhaps use a touchscreen monitor.
If you can recommend any Android device then that would be fantastic!
