rebooting and downgrade problem

there was a reboot in 2.3.6 and i update to Asia 4.0.4 but i have the same problem rebooting every few minutes , even in safe mode ,,, my mobile is two days old !!! i heard that all razr have this problem , is that right ??? is there solution ??? if not how can i go back to 2.3.6 of cellcom ROM(isreal) to return to warranty pleassssssssss >???
i have this file (SPDIRD-40_IL_OPT_1C.91P_CFC_P2B_Signed.xml.zip) is that file enough for downgrade and what i have to do please ?
if you upgraded to version 4.0.4 you can not downgrade to gingerbread
if you upgraded to 4.0.4 you send the phone to warranty with this version no problem...
all razrs receiving ota upgrade automaticaly ...
you upgrade the phone and your phone simply presents problems...ok
send to warranty and wait repair...

I have an EU Droid Razr Maxx, originally was ICS 4.0.4 then I erased my CID and installed Verizon JB Leak, erased it and installed China JB sbf using RSD Lite re-flashed my CID and flashed my EU ICS again.
please read Droid Razr Development section in XDAdevelopers you'll understand what to do, don't worry it's solved.
Please help

Seems like your webtop partition is gone. If you want to go back to ICS you need to download a GB firmware, extract the webtop_signed and flash with this:
http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?qibcf1inyb7ao8y
Then flash a FULL ICS firmware using RSD.
Flashing an ICS Kernel from RSD Lite is your best bet.
And in the future, don't update to JB if you continue to want to mess with ROMS and rooting. If you want to continue this, don't update to JB.

[Q] Update Asia XT910 from 4.0.4 to Vodafone.EU 4.1.2

Hello Everyone,
I'm Noob with RAZR stuff...
i was going through this thread from HSD_Pilot (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2188155)
I currently have stock ICS 4.0.4 on AsiaRetail version.
I have no root or anything.
Can i directly use RSD to flash the 4.0.4 Vodafone.EU on my device and update to 4.1.2 Vodafone.EU by following the guide ?
I dont need root, so is it mandatory to root or not ?
If yes, do i have to root 4.0.4 Vodafone.EU and then update ? or Root AsiaRetail 4.0.4 then flash Vodafone.EU 4.0.4 and the upgrade to 4.1.2 with the guide and keep root ?
no Root is Ok to flash from RSD Lite. but for now, i suggest you to take the alternative BMM path (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2188937) , because the ROM is a leak and not officially released yet. so better for you to try things out and go back later. with the pure OTA update, your CDT wil be updated and so you can't go back to ICS if any issue appears. with BMM however, the exact content is there minus the CDT update script so it is easier to flash back to ICS.

As ya saying ya razr system version is from Canada (rogers.en.cn) , most probably ya can't flash Asian version fastboot on it unless ya don't erase ya cid .
Motorola had locked the bootloader to downgrade or flashing different region fastboot .
Ya can even use rogers.cn fastboot files in Pakistan without any issues .
Just look out for the appropriate fastboot files and flash in forum , remember once ya upgrade there is no way to go back yo ics.
Hit the thx button if i helped ya in anyways

the only firmwares that will work on that phones are Rogers and LATAM (Latin America) fastboot files. can't use asian, EU, or american (they're not even GSM).
if you simply want to get rid of Rogers stuff, you can:
1. root, install Titanium Backup, remove the bloatware, change the boot animation.
2. flash LATAM generic firmware. find them in RAZR development forums.
just remember, once you go JB, you can't go back to ICS.

yes, only LATAM as far as i know. u can try different ones, like EU or Asia, but u gotta tweak the file abit (stuff about changing CID or something).
XT910's firmwares: http://sbf.droid-developers.org/umts_spyder/list.php
but again, check out RAZR"s development forum (this is RAZR QA forum) for updated list.
find LATAM Retail and they're mostly ICS (if not all). the JB ones are posted in the sticky in the RAZR Dev forum.
guide: google "RAZR xt910 fastboot". super easy. use RSD Lite.
Root on JB: yes, but through Linux only.
LATAM is LATAM. Rogers is Rogers. Fido is Fido. wth is your question supposed to mean? LOL - if you flash your Rogers phone with LATAM, it will be identical as if you buy that phone in, say, Argentina....
there's no "generic". there is a DEV firmware out there, but its untested for XT910 and not recommended. LATAM retail is as generic as you can get.
also, my Rogers JB now has better battery than Rogers ICS or CM10.1. only D-Trail's D-Wiz ICS can beat it. it just takes a while in JB for the phone to recognize your usage.

[Q] FASTBOOT JB back to ICS

Hello!
I had XT910 with ICS 4.0.4 673.94.328.XT910.AsiaRetail.en.03
Flashed successfully with RSD Lite to "O2 UK"
9.8.2O-124_SPUEM-14_S7_USASPDRICS01O2UKE1007.0R_USASPDRJBO2GB_P013_A012_p2b_S1FF_fb.xml.zip
then to "Retail British": 9.8.2O_124_SPUEM_14_S7_USASPDRICS01RUKE1007.0R_USASPDRJBRTGB_P011_b57374ab5a_p2b_S1FF_fb_CFC.xml.zip
This was a mistake, because it has no support for ME Hebrew/Arabic languages.
Since there's still no EMEA JB ROM, I wanted to flash back to Asian or ME ICS. But RSD Lite shows an error from device on the very first steps
I found many claims that the downgrade JB->ICS not possible for XT910 because of locked bootloader. But all of them were talking or explicitly about OTA JB , or didn't mention the way at all.
So two questions - if I used only fastboot ROMs - can I still somehow downgrade to ICS?
and if NOT: which Retail JB ROM has support for ME languages ?
Thanks
The answer is NO. You cannot downgrade. I'm not sure about ME lang support.
