Hello. Recently I bought a Lenovo A630 (Android 4.0.4) from minideal. The phone was rooted by them. Yesterday I accidentally uninstalled a system application with Titanium Backup and now the phone doesn't work. Is there a way to reinstall the operating system (including root)? Any costum stable rom would be good too. Any suggestions?

I bought a dual 3G Chinese phone Coolpad W770 recently, and successfully rooted it with SuperOneClickv2.3.3-ShortFuse.
I can use Root Explorer to delete SYS files, but I cannot use both "Titanium backup" or "Rebooter".
May be it is somehow too old system, any help is appreciated.
Thanx.:crying:
hi,
I just installed the Wanam Lite[XXELKC.V5.1] on my galaxy s3. Had taken a backup of the apps through Titanium Backup and restored them after installing the ROM. But the apps that used internet weren't working after being restored. I uninstalled the apps and downloaded them again and the problem persisted. Then i reflashed the ROM and did not restore the apps but directly installed them from PlayStore. The problem still persists. Other apps that came with the ROM those use internet are working fine. Please help me out. What do i do? :crying:
Did you wipe (factory reset) your phone after installing Wanamlite? Also note that Wanamlite 5.2 is out
This is a must if you're coming from another ROM, as usual.
You did not by any chance backup/restore system apps (those that are colored red)
That will cause all sorts of strange issues (even if it _mostly_ works)
Did you use and/or restore a tool which includes a firewall (such as Antivirus software, adblock software or dedicated firewalls)

Yes i had Andriod Revolution and then shifted to Wanamlite. I also did a Backup/Restore through Titanium Backup.
I thought it was a problem with the ROM and then again changed the ROM to Omega v35. But the problem continued. So i did a factory reset and reinstalled the ROM, still no break-through.
I did restore adblock. i thought it wouldn't cause a problem. But after a complete wipe, it should work right, but it isn't. I'm very worried. :crying:
Hi there.
I have the following issue:
My old phone is a rooted htc vision (android 2.3). I want to transfer app data (savegames, settings, whatsapp verification, etc...) to my new phone which is an unrooted nexus 5.
I have titanium backups of my 2.3 apps but i can't use them on my nexus 5 as it is not rooted.
Is there a way to use the titanium backup files with helium (which works without root)?!
Or do i have any other opportunity to get the existing app data from the old phone to the new one without rooting the nexus?
I am exactly in the same situation. Would anybody share some ideas on how to go about doing this? I even tried searching for an older version of helium but that didn't work out too well.
I''ve done it with helium only.
I installed an ICS rom on my htc vision (any andoid 4.x rom will do) and simply used helium to back up all my apps (including data).
Then used helium to restore everything on the nexus again, done.
Followed what you said. Flashed a 4.x ROM on my MT4G and was able to install helium on it. Although I had to actually buy the premium version of helium ($4.99) to restore from my MT4G, I was finally able to transfer the data across my devices. Thanks!
Hi,
I want to do full system backup / disaster recovery backup before I try to root or CyanogenMod on my Xperia Pro MK16i.
In case changing the OS or rooting the phone will fail I do want to have possibility to recover to my shipped OS.
Basically I want to do what Norton Ghost or Clonezilla does for PCs.
Is there any software for Android phones that can do that ?
Cheers,
czezz
Is there any way to completely backup/image my phone before I try to root it ?
I am asking about something like GHOST/Clonzilla for PC.
