So this is sorta like the scrapbooker function built in where you can just draw an area of the screen and it will be saved to scrapbook. But I also want to paste that in lets say an office document. How can I go about doing that?
If you hold down the spen button and circle something, it'll copy to clipboard and you can paste anywhere

Is there a way to highlight copy and paste with the pen. Didnt it show a way to highlight by holding the bottom button. Iv tried but it never highlights like it shows in the tutorial?? Highlighting copy paste should be the key feature to the view

Only in some apps which support the pen
And yes, I also think that this is a imperfection of the Flyer that HTC didn't integrate the pen in the OS self.
You can probably highlight text (not ink) with the back of the pen... using as a capacityive stylus. Could be a little more accurate.
Highly recommend a screen protector if plan to put the metal tip to glass.
When I need a note, it needs to be very simple to use. Simple to open, simple to type, simple to save and simple to find.
One tap from the homes screen, no title to fool with, auto save on closure and easy to find later.
I have tried several of the note apps but none seem to meet all these things
AK notepad almost does this and I use it but there are two issues I have with it.
It takes two taps to open from the home screen and the notes are embedded in the program are are not visible as separate files.
Any thoughts?

Great and pretty simple, one click for open and another to edit , than back key to save.
The best is Motorola Widget "sticky note" that comes with the stock Motorola roms.

Have you tried Evernote?
IMO "Colornote" is the best and it only uses a couple permissions, which makes me like it even more...

I agree with the color note. One tap on home screen opens app to your list of notes and one tap to open individual note. If only using one note it will open right to that note. Autosave on close. Simple easy...

Perhaps I am do not have these setup right, but..
Using a shortcut from Home...
Colornote requires one tap to open from Home, a second to select new note, a third to select Text
Evernote requires one tap to open from Home, and a second to select new note. But the curser defaults to a title field, requiring a third tap.
Geesh, I don't use notes very often but when the need arises there is a little stress to get something down fast without fumbling with the software. A note app that opened to a new note on a single tap would be sweet.

Sounds like one of those non-issue issues. You have to tap to type. Right? Short term memory?

Really dumb question, but I can't seem to figure out how to copy and paste in Chrome (downloaded from Google Play).
For example, i see a URL displayed within a website, I can highlight that URL by long pressing, but I don't know which button to press to "copy" and then "Paste" the URL to the address bar on top.
Thanks!
I just struggled with that for about 15 minutes. I tried every option on the top of the screen. I eventually hit the share option and tested myself the link.

After you highlight the url, long press it again and the menu will pop up, click the one with the scissors....get to where you want to paste it, long press and press "paste"
Flaky as he'll for me even hitting the right icons after the long touch to enter cut 'n paste mode. Often use the share workaround or a different browser.

Trying everything right now and nothing seems to be working. In chrome, pushing the button that looks like copy/cut crashes the browser. In the original Internet browser from Samsung, it doesn't actually copy anything to the clipboard.
I'm on Verizon if that makes a difference.
This is most likely the simplest thing in the word but i'm not figuring out. It's really easy to create a folder in the drawer in touchwiz and even rename it. But how the hell do i add apps to that folder? I don't mean in homescreen, i mean in the app drawer..
Thanks!
Just drag and drop into folder.
Keep pressed the icon and move over the folder.
Sorry man, that doesn't work or I am doing something wrong. When I hold an app to drag from the drawer, tw will immediately change to my home screen so I can put it there. At best I can drag it to the top where it says folder but that just creates a folder in my home screen. That's not what I'm looking for, I want it in the app drawer.
As I stand, I can create folders in the appdrawer just fine, I just don't know how to populate them
Edit: never mind just found out. Wow this is awkward. For the sake of anyone that may be wondering like me, you need to open the drawer, press menu, edit, touch a previously created folder and then it will let tick apps to move to the folder. I've seen better implementations, but it works. Thank you anyway.

Pretty simple
1. Open The app Drawer.
2. Create Folder
3. Click on Left Soft Key for Menu options
4. Click ok "Edit"
5. Now Select App Icons to Drag and Drop.
6. Hit thanks You or Like if i was helpful
S3's text selection method really sucks. First off on the google home page if i write something in the search bar and then need to add something else i drag the cursor to the end but either the keyboard disappears or it gets dragged only to the letter before the last.
Also to copy or paste stuff i have to go looking on the top of the screen (or bottom) for a copy/paste bar, only rarely do i get the popup copy and paste buttons. And it has no screen magnifier for precise selections.
What im looking for is something like apples selection: popup buttons for copying/pasting/cutting DIRECTLY CLOSE TO THE TEXT (not somewhere else, cuz in some apps if youve already scrolled down the bar will disappear), and (a less important feature) a screen magnifying thingy so i can stop the cursor just where i want it to.
Basically i need to replace all of samsungs copy/selection thingy with the blue arrow-cursors, anybody knows how??
