[Q] YP-G70 Intl - pattern locked - Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0, 5.0

I got a YP-G70 International which is pattern locked cause my friend forgot it
Her Gmail pass is correct but can't unlocked either. I can login at email, Google Play and device management, but no luck yet
I can't hard reset yet cause I must backup her files first, what I should do: root the device or flash a ROM via SD?
Thanks in advance!

[Q] Some serious "missing stuff" issue after rooting Neo V

Hello everyone.
I unlocked the bootloader of my phone, and I rooted it today. I want to ask you guys, is it normal to lose all your applications, widgets and contacts? Cause I didn't see any warnings. Anyway I don't really care about the apps and the widgets but I could use my contacts if you guys have a clue. Else I would need to ask a lot of people to remake the list .
Thanks
I think unlocking of bootloader using official method wipes all data for safety...
dont know about other method
and about contect, you can sync it with your google account..
Unlocking by testpin method and rooting not affect any data!
Is the possible that you after instaling zip from cwm recovery accidentaly do full wipe?
I in fact unlocked the bootloader with the official method. And I notice this now:
Certain content on your phone may also be inaccessible due to the removal of DRM security keys and the secure user data partition while unlocking the boot loader.
We advise you to create backups, since user data, settings and accounts will be removed.

I also used the official method and didn't lose any contacts, so I don't think the warning applies to that. I think it's a "just in case" warning...

[Q] Bypass(hack) password without loosing any data

I installed my job email from an exchange email server. To complete the install i had to enter either a password or pincode (which i did not have from before), I chose password and entered a 4 digit code of the same number (e.g. 4444).
When I try (tried) to unlock my phone it says that it is not a correct match. This could come from a typo made by me or something which I can not grasp. If I type the password wrong one more time (9 out of 10), it says that it will factory reset my phone and delete all content (i have nothing of my data on my sd card, and the last backup was about a year ago)
Either way, I have lots of stuff on my phone which I do not want to loose (which is not in my last back up), meaning I will do A LOT to avoid hard reset/factory reset, also meaning I ask if there is a way to bypass the password without any wipe?
PS. I understand that the question above just as well could be written by a thief or similar, however, I can only say that I am just a simple Norwegian that wants help to access my pics, msgs, memos etc.
PS. If it is not legal to ask this kind of question here; could not understand from forum rules, tell me so and I will delete the post accordingly.
So if you enter a wrong unlock password 10 times it will Wipe/Reset the phone and give you access to it? I have never wiped or factory reset my Galaxy S2, so that's why I am just curious.
About your case, I just don't think it would be a really good security system if there was a simple way to bypass it. Who knows? maybe there is?
Yes, at least thats what the security set up from my job email account has constructed. Or at least what it is, I am not 100% sure that it will happen, but i'm not willing to take the risk yet..
Of course, and I am not imagining that someone will give me a short solution. As I am asking, I want to know if it is possible, and if so hopefully a hint in the right direction and level of difficulty can be given.
Have you got root and CWM installed?
if you are running a rooted kernel that has adb u can pull your files and reset
But before that usb debugging needs to be enabled.
Nope, no root kernel, no cwm as far as I know.. Any options? I heard/read that it is possible to set the phone in debug mode and make a script as a solution to my problem, familiar with something like that and if it will work? Do not know what/how to do either, but I am willing to learn how to.
Flash Siyah kernel through Odin. After that you can make a CWM flashable zip to flash package which will contain a password deleting script.

App not installed - Google play services

Dear Experts,
I wanted to update Google play services and Chrome on a Galaxy S3 phone.
I have done this many many times before. Now when I tap the .apk files,
I am immediately getting an error - 'App not installed'
Surprisingly - it happens for both Google play services and Chrome. I tried
another .apk file and it installed fine !!
I tried to free some more space in the Internal memory, I also went to wipe
the cache from the Recovery menu, but none of that helped and now I am
out of ideas! Please help me!
Many thanks!
The phone is the i9300 according to the Odin screen?
http://opengapps.org/ maybe ? Custom recovery needed. In settings unknown sources app on ? crc (checksum) apk is ok ?

Yeah, I know the Gapps, as I have been flashing those on my Galaxy Note 3. But the S3 is perfect as it is and I am not planning on rooting it.
How do I get the checksum of the apk from the server ? I just thought, that the cause is a defective USB cable, because it's exactly those 2 apk's which I copied the last time. But just now I've tried another cable and unfortunately, the result is still the same
Please kindly provide a solution...
You no need root
Only flash custom recovery to force update google play service imo or reflash and use backuped data from google account (if you have).
I assuming, you dont have warranty void ?
For the second question use http://code.kliu.org/hashcheck/ and search md5,sha, ect.

Thanks for your reply! The phone has max. 2-3 weeks more warranty.
But just I don't feel like rooting it, because it's perfect as it is (except
for being very slow, but I guess with only 1 GB RAM this is no surprise).
4.3 is, in my opinion, the best looking Android version !! The next ones
are extremely ugly with the white background, round icons and iPhone
like on-off switches, really terrible!
Is it possible to flash a custom recovery without rooting ? I guess I need to use USB debug mode and Odin from PC ? On my other phone - I first
rooted it, then I flashed the latest TWRP with Flashify and it was a very
quick procedure.
Actually what mostly worries me - could the cause for Google play
services and Chrome failing to install be some virus/malware ? What
can I do in order to rule this out ?
Many thanks for replying and helping me with this issue.
If you use odin you no need root or usb debugging mode (dont know why people use that- its do nothing)
After you flash custom recovery, you may trigger knox (Triangle Away reset flash counter but not knox). You dont get virus without permission - never use antivirus (its bad for speed of phone).
You tried clean settings that apps ? Last hope - hard reset.
Yes, but somebody has installed quite a few apps and as far as I can see, everyting that popped on the screen has been agreed to :-/ This is why I'm afraid of malware

I did clear cache and clear data - still the same error
Get your specific versions of apks from apkmirror. They are copies of the genuine files. App not installed can be signature mismatch or signature conflict.
Beamed in by telepathy.

That's the core of the problem, as this is EXACTLY what I did. And on top of everything, it installed successfully on another Galaxy S3 !!! This is really baffling :-/ Something is definitely wrong...

Help! I debloated mi account app

Hi,
The mi note 5 is my first mi device. I debloated/removed some system apps and in this process I also happened to remove the mi account app.
Now, the issue is, to unlock bootloader I need to have the mi account in the device.
How do I proceed further? Can I flash stock ROM on locked bootloader to get back the mi account app?
Thanks in advance!
you locked the device after rooting it?
I dont know how you debloated it without root. or if you had root why you locked the device again.
BUT the final answer is Test Point Method. it solves everything. look up on youtube how to do Test Point.
I didn't unlock the bootloader at all. I used the ADB command via terminal on my laptop to get rid of the bloatware.
Can't I just flash stock ROM/firmware via fastbooot?
Flash roms via fastboot it´s not allowed for locked devices. Try to update normally to other version trough Update App.
You can enable apps again from adb. Just use adb pm enable instead of disable.
Thanks for all your replies guys!
I solved the issue by a simple factory reset in phone settings

Unlock Bootloader of Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite

Hi, sorry for my English. I made a very big DPI change on my Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite and it is now bootloop in recovery. I need to unlock bootloader to retrieve files via TWRP or other. But the problem is that I didn't activate the Unlock Status on the Mi account... Is there any other alternative? I have very very important files. Thanks.
Without the bootloader unlocked you are unable to flash twrp to recovery. So I took the liberty of googling and found the following zip on crappy hardware reset. It's your choice, I just grabbed it for ya
Found here: https://www.hardreset.info/devices/xiaomi/xiaomi-mi-8-lite/faq/faq/xiaomi-bootloader-unlock-miui10/
Soz admin for external links, just showing where I got it. I accept responsibility for helping.
Feel free to delete the link after he's sussed it.
I am not responsible for the file., contents, or what you do with it
I've already tried this, the problem is that I can't access my phone to activate the "Mi Unlock Status" option, I can't unlock the bootloader, is there any way to "get around" this Mi Unlock Status? Is there any way to recover deleted files after a hard reset on the phone?

Well, that depend on your data recovery skill's, but you most likely need to accept that you lost it all. However, you could try flashing stock again, but DONT wipe userdata etc, then use I think wondershare does data recovery... This is what I'd do in your situation.
If you can flash system without flashing anything else with your stock flasher, try that, it may just keep your files.
I was trying to unlock the bootloader, but I would need to activate that on the Mi account, but I don't have access to the phone
So as I said, try to reflash system.bin/.img ONLY, nothing else. This SHOULD get you back into your fone, but you need to use your STOCK flashing program, hopefully it allows you to flash just the system.img If you can do this, you wont lose your data. You do NOT need to unlock fone to reflash system.img if you get me.
