I have installed the resurrection remix RR JB V3.1.3 AOKP 4.2.1 (SGS2) ROMs with the dorimanx kernel, and the cyanogenmod 10.1.3 ROM on my i9100 int. and on both I am having problems with skype.
On the RR ROM skype crashes the entire OS and causes it to freeze, and on the Cyanogenmod ROM I have tried old and new versions of skype and they all have problems - 2 second lag to type a number in dialer, 2 second delay in sounds received whilst on a call, freezing, and switching from bluetooth to earpiece by itself (and then cant be turned back onto earpiece, doesnt disable or disconnect the phone from bluetooth though).
Has anyone else been having problems with skype on these ROMS?
Apart from that the ROMs seem to be working fine. I had a bug with RR where the input method kept swtihing itself to physical keyboard but that seems to be OK now. Everything is fine in the Cyanogen MOD apart from this skype problem (and a 64 gig SD card which is not mounting, which I think might not be supported by the kernel).
I have CWM 4.0.1.5 installed. Browser and other internet apps work OK.

I've been having an issue with the sound on many (not all) Flash videos dragging or running very slow. I've tried deleting & reinstalling Flash 10.2 to no avail. I've had this issue through several roms and kernels so I've no reason to think that is the cause, but FWIW I'm currently using SC 2.9.2 with jt's latest kernel dated 4/7. In searching I discovered a reference to a fix in Rom Manager called "audio revert" here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-774378.html
I don't see this in Rom Manager for the Fascinate, so does anyone know of a fix?
Hmm, strange, I haven't had any issues with Flash, everything runs smooth with perfectly synced sound.
An example of a video source I am having the problem with is http://cnettv.cnet.com, with Dolphin HD.
In the last years I've tried out a lot of different Custom Roms, e.g. Resurrection Remix, Cyanogenmod, SuperNexus, and so on.
At the moment my daily driver is the Omega AOKP ROM for my S3.
I experienced with most of these AOKP ROMs a very annoying windows alert by copying mp3s onto the device.
it said, the the device can possibly not play the mp3s I wanted to copy, do you want to copy it anyway? And so every time I copy a new music on my device I get this bothering check box from Windows.
I've read a lot and the solution should be to change the USB-Mode, but in my AOKP ROM but there is not such an option.
does anyone know how to change the settings in this case?

I am having some stability issues and errors with my i9100
I tried a few kernels (CM10, CM10.1, Siyah v6, dorimanx 7.45) on a few roms (JellyBam 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, Rootbox 3.4, SuperNexus 2.0 )
with all of these I am having the same error.
First it starts well, in couple hours it starts freezing and after restart having the error message.
says something that there is not enough memory and resets settings of some apps (like swiftkey)
Checked memory and storage every time, there is available storage and free memory more than enough.
also tried formatting storage before installing rom, no change.
Any guess about the problem or anyone having the same ?
normally it is a kernal related issue but using latest siyah should of fixed it.
I suspect one of the apps you have recently installed was corrupted and did not install properly.
The only way to find out is to remove the last few apps and reinstall them see which one causes the problem.
I just installed another rom
installed revolt -formating everything- and installed latest dorimanx before start.
will see if the combination works this time.
it's been about 5 hours, any problem yet
this combination also has a lot of problems but at least I didn't get the 'memory' error
now it reboots a couple times a day
and with this rom, bluetooth issue came out

I updated from Stock to CM 11 (flashed CWM, wiped data/cache/delvik and then installed CM11 snapshot and gapps 4.4.4).
I can't find the gps options in the drop down menu. I searched an ppl reported GPS problems with CM 11 but I am not sure. I can receive SMS and make calls so baseband/EFS should be ok?
Is the menu hidden somewhere or CM11 killed GPS ?
After some searching I think I found it. There was a setting with two options. Battery saving and High Accuracy, Didn't know those were the GPS ones. Too diferent from s3 Touchwiz which is the only android I ve worked on.

Now I'm using Nikita's CM 12.1 (10.08-build). Everything works fine, but as flashoholic I can't wait to install CM 13, but as I know it's quite buggy. Can someone confirm, which features on CM 13 actually work?

The CM 12.1 is more stable because the CM 13 is nightly and it is updated everyday. Maybe you should wait the stable release of CM 13.
Yes, I know I replied lately, but I use CM13 Nightlies now and I got just a very few bugs. SIM signal is stable. WiFi, Bluetooth, Camera, GPS, volume settings, USB mass storage (and every other USB connection mode too) work well like as TWRP backup/restore.
CM13 for me since it works well as a daily driver.
Everything in your list works for me except USB Mass storage (PC connection) which I haven't tried yet.
Batterywise, I'm getting around 4 hours SOT with greenify and amplify installed which is enough to last me a whole day.
+1 for cm13... I think that it is faster than cm12.1... It feels snappier, don't know ...
own experience , CM 13 works great only thing I see is the Xposed . Battery pays me enough. can install applications on the SD solving the problem of space.
i think this rom is not yet stable, like i cant copy files from internal to external, cant change wallpapers. etc.. thats why i went back to stock rom for the mean time..
I cant wait for this rom to be stable and i am going to flash it again immediately.. ^_^ Thanks
