Hi everybody!
I wish that our devices (running android 4.4.2) have the notification system like this
{

The image posted is a screenshot of "NiLS Lockscreen notification", app available from google play market. I find out that it works exactly like "cLock", the cyanogenmod system app that bring clock, weather or calendar like widget on lockscreen (infact this app bring a special clock with the notification system below).
So since i don't want a thirdy part app, can someone help me to do this? Maybe to replace the clock widget of "cLock" with the clock of this app...who's interested?
Can't you just remove cLock by long pressing it and dragging it to the trash bin? Then you can add the widget you want (the one provided by NiLS.)
If that's not what you want, can you elaborate a bit more?

cLock is open source so you could add the functionality yourself, I guess. But judging by your question, it looks like you want an easy way to magically merge the two apps into one? There's none. You can try looking for an app that offers both features, or use them both. I don't see what's wrong with using them both.

It's not simple enough to just tell you how to do it
FWIW, you can use DashClock. It supports extensions, and some of the extensions allow you to show notifications.
I still don't understand what's wrong with using two apps as long as they do what you want, though.

What empirical evidence do you have to back that claim?
I think what you mean is that a 3rd party app uses more battery than a system app, which imo is a broad generalization with no evidential backing whatsoever...
I use NiLS lockscreen widget, it works perfectly for me, and it doesn't use any battery that you'll ever notice.

I've always wondered how other people setup thier phones, what applications they use and how they have things set out. Not sure if you guys will follow but I started this so everyone can show a list of applications or even just a simple background screenshot of what they have on thier mini or mini pro.
Anyone know of a good screenshot application so I can post mine up lol

Wow!
How many memory did you get after these downloads?
What program do you use to get that Home Screen?
Thank's!
Err not sure about the memory, think it was between 37-50MB free (phone is being repaired atm)
I'm using ADW Launcher atm, but I'm gonna change to LauncherPro as soon as 2.1 is out.

I was thinking the same thing, are you running an app or is that a full re-theme, your status bar seems to be somewhat different than anything I've come across for the Mini/Mini Pro? Also, what app are you running to tell you call time and message counters?

Hey guys i would like some help with the gallery, im tired to scroll all the way to the end of my folder list to see the new pictures i just took.
Do you have any way to modify this?

Thanks in advance

How does using an app to access another app you can access in the first place help with this?
Maybe just me, but the only time I could use the 3d gallery was when changing the icons; when changing wallpapers or general picture viewing it uses Mediascape. I know you can remove this, but as a rule don't use my X10 as a camera and I haven't investigated further.

Sorry, I was referring to THIS, same thing as you mentioned I think, but still doesn't resolve the sorting issue.
True, doesn't actually resolve the issue, it's just faster to find images.
Sorry, didn't realise this app had originated on XDA, but most of the time I post it's from my X10 and the search can be pretty random...

It seems there's no way to organize folders on the 3D gallery, a pretty simple feature that should be there from the start.
i've read that the .nomedia trick could actually delete your pictures, is that true?
Is there any app out there similar to the ICS app folder on the Nexus? I like how you can group everything and how it shows several icons at once. Anything similar to that in the Market?

Try this:
https://market.android.com/details?...wiY29tLmF5ZWxlY3Ryb25pY3MuQXBwRm9sZGVyUHJvIl0.
I came from ICS with the Galaxy Nexus, the functionality is almost identical. Worth the 1.99 IMO.
I really liked the ics keyboard on the Nexus and the speech to text function with it. It was extremely fast and you could continue talking without having to stop and pressing enter all the time. What's the closest keyboard in the market that I could use to mimic the ics keyboard? Also is there a way to get that speech to text ics functionality on the Rezound?

I had the exact same question...
Thank God for forums (and the dudes that invented it). I had the same exact question after reverting back to GB from ICS and didn't realize how much I missed that feature again until recently (I also was an iPhone user for a few years ). I'm surprised HTC's folder "widget" is so limited..
There were good suggestions here, but ultimately seems like Folder Organizer is the best app for this particular job for me. Has more settings and options than I was looking for, but the main function works well and it's very fast, unlike other apps like SiMi.
Thanks to all those that posted their recommendations.
Question for all you devs out there is there anyway to mod the stock launcher to be able to hide apps from the app draw like in go launcher ex? I love the stock Sony launcher but hate all those horrible app icons in the app draw especially the ones that run in the background and there's no need for them to be there, can anyone recommend a solution??? Much appreciation for any help

If you want to hide stock apps, disable them from the app settings screen.
Thanks for your reply K900, I tried that and it stopped the app from working completely, rather than just removing the icon whilst retaining the apps functionality, any other ideas??

if you have rooted mobile freeze the app using TITANIUM BACKUP PRO so that icons gets disappeared from menu and defreeze it to get the icon back
I believe the OP is only looking to hide the icon, for example, Simple Text App when you purchase it you also get a second Simple Text Icon (purchased) . I believe its the second Icon that is not required to be visible. (I only used Simple Text as an example). OR like with Simple Text, I only use it once to create the icons but won't need to use it again for a long time. So again I don't need it taking up space..
To answer the OP. No, I don't have an answer apart from an other launcher - Go Launcher etc.
You can use Advanced Xperia Launcher.
It's closest to stock as possible and there are many options that Sony (for some reasons don't want to
to add).

Hey guys,
Please show your home screen setup and any mods that you guys use.
Since day one I have been using
. Nova launcher premium
. Zooper widgets
. Min arch mod for zooper
I use quick gesture from nova which I found really useful with the current setting: Double tap to launch app that turn off and lock screen, one finger swipe down to bring down notification, and one finger swipe up to bring up recent app.
Interested to know what other mods you guys are using that make your G2 your own.
