Hi i currently have my lg l9 p769. It is t mobile locked but i had it unlocked now. Im wondering if ever i flash roms such as stock or cm roms, will it affect the simlock? Will it locked the sim again? Thanks.

You don't even have to have root to install a different stock ROM or a custom ROM.
I have a factory unlocked phone on Tmobile, but if I install an ICS ROM will that effect the unlock at all? It's currently on gingerbread and already rooted.
No your phone will stay umlocked. I use an unlockes Rogers Note with Bell ICS and no issues at all

Unlock is permanent. Any roms you try can't relock your phone.

How can I use CM with locked bootloader? I have Arc S with unlocked BL(this phone won't be sold), and I was using CM9 and CM10. Best roms ever. But how can I use it on my SXP with locked BL?(this phone will be sold, and I dont want to lose my warrant)

As much as i know FXP wont do his cyanogenmod for locked bootloader.

I think flashing a factory rom for p760 from other countries may unlock the phone. But i am not sure about this. So before trying ask experts or do some deep research.

I have a P769 v20b that I recently obtained with MetroPCS on T-Mobile's network (SIM card)
I'm wondering if the bootloader is unlock-able and if there's a simple root method floating the P769 v20b since I want to flash a ROM to it.
Here's a picture of the box.
I'm still new to tinkering around with root/unlock for phones.
But I'm guessing the process for it would be:
CWM
Root
Unlock bootloader
Flash a ROM
Any help and answers will be greatly appreciated.
