To update emmc /recovery, use SD based recovery to flash a flashable recovery zip that contains the new emmc recovery version -- see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49024436&postcount=105 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49111924&postcount=8.

There is no zip for 2.6.3.1, but I found an app that flashes the recovery for me; this issue is solved.

It's now a moot point as your issue is solved, but you could make a flashable zip for any recovery .img using info at the link I referenced above (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=49111924&postcount=8).

Bugs / known issues
Internal sdcard mount at /sdcard not /data/media
There're option to select internal/external backup & restore, at the folder title. At first I confuse because default backup location is internal.
Version History
2013/11/24 - Fix Wip /data problem. TWRP don't format /data by default do /data/media is preserved. But you have an option to format /data.

TWRP 2.6.1.0 for P760 is up in OP. I test it on my phone and it can restore my P768 TWRP backup. (It should work because all files are that same except kernel)
Thanks for this recovery artit. Could you also build a CWM based recovery for the P760/P765/P768?

CWM non-touch version is built with every CM rom but it a little inconvenient to use. Touch CWM can be built from http://builder.clockworkmod.com/. P760 is already in its support devices.
I think TWRP is more usable and faster (without md5 check). I also use touch CWM for P768 for a long time before switch to TWRP.

It's don't work in nandroid manager even if you put /dev/block/mmcblk0p4 in destination.
The safest way to flash it is via fastboot.
But I've tried another method by using dd. But you need shell access to do it, and if you make some mistake you may soft brick your phone.

So instead of using rsd to go back to stock, we can flash this as we would a custom ROM?

no, these zips update your cwm/twrp recovery to the latest version. if you want to avoid using rsd, make a nandroid of your stock unmodified system.

i have no idea what the problem could be. i flashed the new twrp with cwm, rebooted recovery, and it shows 2.6.3.2.
you did extract the recovery.img from the zip before fastbooting, correct?
you know what, i downloaded the img file from DHackers Android Hosting. Let me download the ZIP file and flash it through TWRP.

heh, well you got the image straight from the source, shouldn't have any problems with it. the ones in the zip files are unmodified except for being renamed to generic "recovery.img" (so i don't have to modify the updater-scripts for each one).
actually, just realized that twrp for the x still shows as 2.6.3.0, i was thinking of the new razr m twrp which does show 2.6.3.2. you can tell it's updated by the haptic feedback though.

Thank you. I figured it was updated because of the new vibration under settings.
Been driving myself nuts. I fastbooted it through fastboot, mfastboot, and mxfastboot.
Went back to hashcodes 2.6.3.1 then back.
Thank you for confirming.
Edit: DHacker just confirmed on twitter that he forgot to update a script so it will show 2.6.3 but all is well.

I've never flashed a recovery through a recovery. I've only ever used ADB. You can do two things.
1) Extract the zip file to remove the recovery img
2) If the OP doesn't mind me posting this you can go to DHacker's files and get the CWM recovery img he has there.

You could install from MobileUncle Tool:
Extract from zip file: recovery.img
Put the img file on your media storage NOT ON YOUR SD CARD!
Open MobileUncle Tool
Go to Recovery Update;
You will find there recovery image
Patch.
Second way is:
If you have allready CWM installed
Copy zip file on your phone
Restart to recovery
Patch zip file.
Hope this will help you.

Which rom were you running when you rebooted into recovery?
Stock, so CM11s.
mine still is not good. i treid to reboot to get it to hold the no hardware buttons. didn't reboot. tried about 10 times. eventually booted intot this new recovery and reflashed rom and booted it up. it's a bloody weird looking boot- no boot animation- made me think it was screwed again.
did you have to do anything to get it working again? Wipe entire device or just data partition?
Working good here, but I had no issues with the official build. I have an international version, 64GB OPO.
It's nice to see some additional features added, though.
Just helping out, packaged in a flashable zip for those with current CWM or TWRP recoveries, tested and working, enjoy everyone.
Flashed with the zip in the post above, worked flawlessly, was able to backup my EFS partition which is what I was looking to do. Thanks!

fastboot format modemst1 & st2
or
fastboot erase modemst1 & st2
or may be both? in that case in what order?
I flashed the one in OP, but the system does not see any partition ?
Can I flash 15th without bricking the phone
[EDIT] I tried a second time, and now it´s ok, partitions are there and backup is currently running
Any chance at adding F2FS support direct for this recovery for the ONE Plus?

Now are you simply renaming the image file from TWRP to recovery.img and placing it inside an already created zip file for flashing. A zip file that of course was created for an earlier version of TWRP lets say

OnePlus 2 Stock Recovery

Hello

Hi,
Thank you very much.
I'm also returning my phone to oneplus and i had unlocked and rooted the phone like you.
May i know how you restore the stock ROM and recovery?
thank you
Why do you need stock recovery for that? I just wiped everything on mine and when I rebooted from twrp I chose not to protect twrp. Rma was approved so I guess they were satisfied with that.

Yes, including internal storage.
That I didn't know, but you don't void warranty by installing custom recovery or rooting so it shouldn't be an issue either way.

You have to install adb for Mac (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/31374085/installing-adb-on-mac-os-x), enable USB Debugging on your phone, reboot into bootloader mode :
Code:
adb reboot-bootloader
then go into:
