Mobile Data not working on AOSP Roms - HTC Droid DNA

Hello there,
I'm having some frustration issues lately with any AOSP ROM
I recently began to notice that mobile data refused to work (it only worked once on the first setup where you choose your language, etc.), after flashing a new kitkat rom. I also noticed that my phone could not hold a stable wifi connection with any router.
No amount of rebooting or turning airplane mode on/off would do anything, so I decided to flash my previous ROM that I was using earlier with no issues, and to my surprise, found it was also having this issue.
Thinking it was a hardware issue, I reverted back to stock using an RUU, and everything worked perfectly. Mobile data, wifi, everything.
I tried flashing an AOSP Rom after unlocking for a second time, and just like previously mobile data didn't work, but after flashing any stock based rom like Venom ROM, it does. Any suggestions?
TL;DR: My Droid DNA's mobile data and wifi suddenly only works on stock-based roms, even after a running an RUU
The ROM I updated to was: Omnirom 4.4.1
The ROM I had previously was: Carbon Rom 4.3.1
The ROMs with working data: Venom, stock, and everything else based off of stock.
Thanks in advance :good:

I would suggest you to flash a radio. If that doesn't work back up any data and flash any stock based rom including stock recovery. Once it is flashed let it boot and then factory restore in bootloader this will repair any radio partition.

I think I borked my phone...

So...I was on CM10.2 and decided to try out Carbon. I used the latest TWRP recovery, wiped everything, and installed. I then installed the custom gapps, then got careless and installed the other .zips on the custom gapps page. I wasn't paying attention and thought they were required.
I'm S-ON so I did the fastboot flash boot boot.img from the boot.img in the Carbon zip.
ROM worked great, though, I was at home and had the wifi connected. I guess I didn't realize that the mobile data wan't working.
I noticed it yesterday at work and thought it might be a ROM problem. So, followed the process above and installed the 4.3 version of LiquidSmooth, Paranoid, and finally Revolt.
I couldn't get my mobile data to come on to save my life.
So, I just relocked it and RUU'ed with rezound_AndroidPolice_4.03.605.2_PH98IMG.zip (I had used this once before and it worked, before re-unlocking and playing with various roms)
I make it through all of the setup...still no mobile. The notifications bar *shows* three bars, but, the Mobile Network entry in Settings says "Turning on"
I've even tried a factory reset...everything on the phone works except the mobile network.
Anything else I can try?

check you sim card. i might be a goner. you can take it to vzw and they will issue a new card.
EDIT:
if you are on the stock rom could try this. pull the sim out, boot the phone. it will give you a sim error. turn off the phone and place sim back in

Wifi Not turning on

I need help please!
I have a Sony Ericsson Live With Walkman wt19i, I had cyanogenmod 10.2 nightlies dated 8/Oct/2013 installed on it and it was working just fine, no problems at all, so today I thought I should check if there is a new nightlies and I checked and found one dated 4/Dec/2013, I downloaded it and installed it the usual way through Recovery --> Wipe Cache --> Wipe Dalvik --> Install Zip --> Install Gapps, and it went fine.
I rebooted my phone after installation and I couldn't turn the WIFI on, it just doesn't turn, I re-installed again, then I wiped data and re-installed again, then I re-installed the older nightlies that was working fine, but nothing worked.
So in short WIFI was working fine on a October nightlies and after installing a new nightlies it doesn't turn on no matter what I try.
Sorry for my bad English.
Help please!
Try to go back to your old ROM. After flashing always backup tour current ROM.

I didn't backup my old ROM but I did wipe data / cache and install it again, but it didn't work!
Maybe it is a problem with a kernel. Try flashing the latest kernel, if there are, that comes with every nightlies zip that you flash.
If you are using other JB kernels then maybe there is WiFi modules on its thread.

Thanks.
This phone is currently outdated anyway, and it has taken a lot of beatings and needs to replace the charger port, so I decided to retire it and buy the Huawei Ascend Mate.
This event was a hard lesson for me, I always took installing custom ROMs lightly, but from now on I will only do it if the ROM was tested and stable.

[Q] No Connectivity on MJ9 4.4 ROMS

I Odin'd the MJ9 radio some time ago and have been able to flash 4.3 custom ROMS based on that radio with no issues at all. The problem comes when I try ANY 4.4 ROM. The ROM and Gapps flash and install with no issue. However, I don't have data or voice connectivity. I'll go into APN settings and it's blank. I've tried manually entering the values, but the changes won't stick. As a point of reference, I'm running the MJ9 radio with TWRP 2.6.3.0 as my recovery.
Ideas?
Use philz or cwm for flashing the 4.4 roms

Where are you getting the 4.4 roms? Just make sure you are flashing ones for our device i605..
Only other suggestion I can make is making sure mobile network is toggled on..
You shouldn't loose data if you are flashing the proper rom
ROMs are all coming from this very forum. I never occurred to me to check the mobile network, because it's never been an issue with any of the other ROMs I've used.

[SOLVED][Q][CM11] Mobile network state disconnected & phone wakelock

Due to instability issues in the latest nightlies, I clean flashed and reverted back to CM11 milestone 5. After doing this, I haven't been able to get mobile data. Voice and sms work fine, just "mobile network state disconnected" and no data connectivity. Also after flashing back to M5, "Phone" seems to prevent the device from sleeping. In battery stats, the device is always awake, with "Phone" using the majority of the batter.
I've tried re-flashing CM11 M5 multiple times, I've also flashed different modems, and I've also called AT&T to reset my internet connectivity. Nothing has worked thus far. Any suggestions? :good:
UPDATE/SOLUTION:
I got mobile data back by going back to stock, clean flashing AOKP (which works with mobile data), then dirty flash to CM11. Quite unorthodox, probably not the best solution, but it's the only 'fix' that has worked!!
I've tried many other suggestions, such as the "patched" modems & kernels, to no avail. Finally this works, dreams do come true
UPDATE: I tried ODINing back to stop 4.3 ROM, on which data was working again. However, upon flashing back to CM11, data stopped working once again. I tried flashing AOKP, which *did* get data back, so I'm assuming this is a CM11-exclusive problem.
I really don't know how the CM11 data problem persisted even after flashing back to stock and then re-flashing CM11. What could've gone wrong? Anyways, I guess I'm sticking to AOKP for the time being.

Have you got a link to the rom - any issues with Wi-Fi or 3G/Mobile Data? This CM 11 rom I have is awesome but it's a pain that the 3G/Mobile data just doesn't work at all.

Got the 4.3 stock ROM from sammobile then installed the kernel and modem from TWRP recovery - haven't tried a custom ROM yet but I presume it'd work in the same way

Restore the working backup you should have made in twrp before flashing anything. If you don't have one, use one of the flash tools on the forum to return phone to stock.

Restored to my old stock :\ any ways I can use a custom rom? Or no?
The phone force closes on 10m ports are a bug some users experience, myself included. He's working on a fix. Jasminerom version 1.1 works great though, based on 10b firmware. Same dev is working on a 10c version based on the latest ota.
