hello,
If I am signed into origin on most wanted will it save game data, so if I was to factory reset or install different rom could I just install the game, sign back in and my game data will be there?
Thank you.
it will be restored automatically only if origin saves these data files on their servers, you can't know that but i suggest to use a backup app

All,
How do I make a backup of my settings, or which file do I need to extract when I want to make a backup of google play?
Issue is the follwoing, As google music currently saves all the music in the Data folder on the Phone (at least in my Galaxy Nexus) and no longer on the sdcard, every time I flash a new rom or an updat I loose Google music. obviously that is not an issue as I can reinstall the app, however the files I want to have locally on the phone need to be re-downloaded. the issue is that with the new install these settings have been lost, and I need to go back in the app and mark every file to be stored offline again from scratch.
I have also tried bracking up via Ti backup, however that leads into bigger problems as after restoring the app gets reset everytime I reboot....
Any help would be appriciated
Patrick
anybody have any idea where I can start? Is this normal behaviour? what is the correct process to keep my settings when flashing a new rom?
Hi Friends,
I have just installed Jelly Bean 4.3 in my Galaxy S3 thru OTA. But its a bit lagy. People are suggesting to do a factory reset after installing 4.3 so that it will not be lagy.
I have many games, apps installed and I need the games' saved files and data to be backed up and restored after factory reset. Please let me know a way for this. My phone is not rooted so that I will not be able to use some backup apps which requires root for backing up games data files. I have some 100+ downloaded apps and games which I need to backup and restore them after factory reset. Help me!
Thanks in advance.
Without root you will manually have to copy and paste the saved folders from your internal sd card, there is no way to backup or restore the apps themselves.
So when I moved from the Evo to the S3 I took the advice of many to use MyBackup Pro and I don't remember any issues. Decent interface to save the data you need and skip what you don't. Mine's also unrooted and am about to do exactly what you're doing for the same reason - I'm banking HEAVILY on it working well... wish me luck, and good luck to you.
If I am switching ROMs, is there any way to backup and then restore my Google Play Music files?
I have nearly 40GB of playlists etc and would really prefer not to have to redownload them each time. Is there a way to backup a specific folder and then restore it after flashing the new ROM?
I understand they are DRM protected. I don't want to add them to my computer or anything, I just want to avoid the headahce of trying to DL 40gb of data on a very slow connection.
Hi,
I'd like to also step in and ask for a solution. I myself have 30GB that needs downloading everytime i install a new ROM.
I have tried to use Titanium to tell the system that some kind of ID stays the same, but apparently the music is deleted from the phone as soon as the phone is started for the first time, so I can't really tell whether this would work or not.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated
Hi All,
I posted in the wrong forum, so reposting here in Q&As.
I'm looking for a way to backup a full image of my android device, and be able to wipe, then do a full restore (apps, settings, cache, etc..). I know there are great options for Rooted devices and recovery, but any for stock?
I have a personal phone that I also use for consulting, and travel quite a bit, but CBP has been searching phones more often (used to be mostly laptops and tabs in the past), and I want to have a clear stock device so i don't distribute my client's data (and my personal).
So ideally, I would:
1. Backup and wipe phone before heading to airport/TSA
2. Restore once landed overseas and cleared customs/immigration, and use as normal
3. Backup and wipe phone before heading to airport/int'l security
4. Restore once landed in the US and cleared customs, and use as normal.
I have a stock Galaxy Note 8. Searched on here and on google, but only found solutions with root access (i.e.: Titanium Backup)
Thanks everyone!!
