ART with xposed?? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Just wanted to discuss of any one knows of xposed is panning on becoming compatible with the new ART runtime or is there away a round it. It's been frustrating because both option are a necessity in life with N5 roms.

Cleanrom support thread

Since Scott closed the thread I thought I'd start a support thread for it. Other users like myself will be happy to answer questions so fire away. Scrosler left us with a very solid complete ROM.
I have only one issue with this Rom(it may not even be an issue). When I'm not on a wlan my locate in the weather app and others just say "my location.". Is it suppose to be that way? It also happens with blinkfeed.

Go into location settings. Make sure gps is checked. It's off by default.

That's weird I never had that problem in CleanRom 2.5, but I never found a fix for it running the Cognition Rom it was one of the reasons I went back to cleanrom.

Great Idea ...I'll help out if i can. I plan on sticking with CleanRom 2.5 till 4.2.2 lands or another big update from AT&T.
Well all the buzz is 4.2.2 will drop very soon so it looks like the cleanrom .12 base will be short lived.
My Hope is we don't loose all the AT&T Features (Icons / signal bars ..etc) on the international roms
I'm willing to give those up for the fixes 4.2.2 brings to the table.
icons and such can be hacked in later.
What are the features that 4.2.2 have which CleanRom + apps from Google play cannot match?

Battery life is better on 4.2.2 for me.

4.2.2 seems to be all around smoother for me but the one thing I really miss about Clean Rom was the transparent app drawer. It was pretty much perfect in 2.5 and I have not been able to find anything as smooth with all the 4.2.2 roms. It is nit picking but it is frustrating.
I am going to try and build my on prism.apk here soon but I highly doubt I can do any better.
Which 4.2.2 ROM would you guys recommend? I'm not into fancy stuffs...I just want something stable and not full of bugs.

ARHD and TrickDroid are the two most popular. ARHD is going to be the no nonsense Rom and trick droid offers many customizations after the fact. Both are great roms with good support communities.

4.2.2 still has its bugs to be worked out, but if your looking for nothing fancy ARHD is the way to go. Trickdroid gives you quite a bit of customizations to fit just about everyone needs.

I don't see any bugs anywhere, not sure where you're getting that from.

Me either, I guess. I have noticed when on a call sometimes my screen isn't black and I'm in some kind of other screens. Not sure if that's what others are experiencing, but I think mine works for the most part.

How do you make a new thread on Scott's Rom? Using xda. Sine there is no 3 dot menu anymore. Sorry for the dumb question. Help is appreciated!

Go into settings then buttons and gestures turn on hold back button for menu

[POLL] Stock Developer Edition Flashable?

What are the chances of someone making a flashable (Odin even?) to go complete stock developer edition on the normal S4?
If you mean for this to be a poll and general discussion please do not check "yes this is a question" as all Qs get moved to Q&A. I edited your titel

Cool thanks. Sorry bout that!

I glad its same model so just the matter of time

The unmodified ROM may not work but the aosp compatible binaries from the ROM will make the custom ROMs available now much better and no longer need ugly hacks to get hardware to work.

[req] cm 10.2 + halo

I really would like this. I think HALO is very useful for tablet users considering we hold our tablets by the sides with 2 hands very often. There are some ROMs out there for the more popular devices already so why not our Manta? I'm Hoping there's a dev out there who would take a shot at this
BTW I know about PAC ROM but honestly its got a little too much where the integration gets messy. I have huge respect for the devs but there's too much difficulty in actually pulling off a 3 way ROM without compromising too much.

Thanks, although it's just AOSP with a few cherry picks here and there. I prefer a CM base with HALO. Just hoping some devs would pick up this tablet

Knock on for Note 2?

Got my daughter a G2 and loving the knock on feature. Any way to implement this on the Note 2?
I installed the LG launcher from this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2518570
but only knock off feature works. Assuming its a kernel issue? I am running Nephilim, which is TW.
From what I read in that forum it looks like you need the stock lg lockscreen in order for knock on to work. Not sure if any roms have it or if it can be flashed or installed somehow.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
Did some more research. Alliance ROM has the LG lockscreen, so I'm gonna try it out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2274197
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
Installed Alliance ROM, chose the lg lock screen, and knock on still doesn't work
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
It is a kernel related item I'd guess. If not, then it is part of the framework somewhere. In either case, it's not going to be the easiest thing to port over.
Sent from my Galaxy Note 2
I got knock on on my Nexus 7 by installing a kernel so maybe someone will put that option in.
Had knock been added to any note 2 roms yet?
Yes, we need this feature.
Someone, get on it, quick!

One max and cm11?

I can't find a definitive answer. I'm soon to be switching to Verizon and I'm interested in the One Max, but I can't find any info on whether there is a cm11 Rom. I read in the Faq that any One Rom will work on the One Max, or maybe it was only the other way around. I'm leaning towards the Note 3 because I can't find an answer, but would like the bigger screen on the One Max.

Look in the dev sections. No cm11 as of now.

Ya I scrolled through there, I only found one post related to it. Are there any other stock like roms?

AOSP is right around the corner, we have some great devs working on it. It's really just a matter of some minor bugs they're working out right now.
Check out my website for encouragement....
