Ever since i flashed the ThGo v14 ROM, my vibration isn't working properly.
It works fine on everything except calls and texts, it does not vibrate no matter what I do.
I thought it was just the ROM, so I flashed a new ROM. And it still doesn't work.
Any help?

You do have vibration turned on in sound settings right? For messaging, you have to turn it on in messaging settings.
I am running CleanRom on a Rezound and all of the sudden my phone started running really slow. Everything seems to work fine its just sometimes it takes a long time to respond. I was running version 4.3 when this started and have since upgraded to the latest 4.5 but am having the same problem.
It seems to be worst when I first try to turn my screen on, when I open the market, and when I make a call the screen hangs while it says dialing but the call connects and I can talk...the only way I have found to get out of the dialer when this happens is to pull the battery and restart.
Also when I restart my phone it says the system process has stopped responding and do I want to wait for it or close it. It doesn't seem to make any difference which one I pick either way the phone works afterward...that is if you call this state working.
Anyone else have any problems similar to this?

Whatever the problem was it seems to have something to do with CleanRom I installled a different Rom and everything is great

Well i guess its not the Rom after all it was fine for a little while but now its having the same problem again.

check with system panel if something running at 100%
i was running cleanrom 4.3 ran great for a while...then everything was choppy i couldnt even play games...switched to slimrom and all is good...
I've tried several different roms but not Slimrom I'll download it now. I have had the same problem with all of the roms I tried.
Anyone seeing a problem on CM10 with no ringtone playing sometimes on an incoming call? I can watch the screen reporting an incoming call but no sound plays at all. However I can call it right back and it will play it, then maybe the next call or two and it won't play it again. I was using one of the stock ringtones. It's maybe once every three call average.
It's also happening on AOKP JB Milestone 1. I'm using stock kernels on both.

Funny, my brother's fascinate running PA 2.52 [CM10 base] doesn't play the ringtone when being called. I haven't been able to fix it yet. but if it's a bug in cm10 that would surely explain it.
I think it's in the kernel since it happens on both CM10 and AOKP JB (which uses the CM10 kernel).
I hope someone out there can figure it out. I'm back on AOKP ICS M6 until then as I need my phone to ring.

I'm running it about a day or 2,,, and It is really nice,,, using stock kernel currently, devil 1.8.1 was causing bigger than normal battery drain, and w/stock battery has been great,,,
I do not have the ringtone issue in this one, but i did not have it in the aokp m1 either ,,, although I did have in in some of the earlier builds,,, I think like 9/27 or there about,,,
just looked when I went to 10/7 w/ 1.6.1 it cleared up my ringtone issue,,, and I also believe I may have wiped and installed an older stock jb partitioned rom 1st then back to that 10/7 build,,,
just so it would clear out any issues and go freshly into the new partition cleanly for sure.
OK I'll give M1 a try with 1.6.1 devil and if that doesn't work I'll try Baked. Will report back.
EDIT: Both M1 with Devil 1.6.1 and Baked version 6 have the same problem. I wonder if it's something with the fact that it's 4.1.2?
Anyway I'm rolling back to AOKP ICS M6 for the time being.

have you tried going back to ics then reinstall jellybean? with full wipe?
Are you restoring any apps and/or data??
is so what programs and methods are you using
are you using ringtones that came with the rom your trying out? or loading custom?

1. Yes. Same problem.
2. It happens even without installing any of my apps.
3. I am only using the built-in ringtones. Usually I set it to Pyxis but also tried Perseus. Same problem.

I'm having this same issue on my Showcase. I've had it since I've been on Jellybean. I'm currently running CM10, the nightly from 10/30. I would love to find the source of the issue, everything else with the ROM works great.
Disable safe headset volume under sound settings. Worked for me on 4.1.2 helly.
Now that I've upgraded to 4.2 there is no option so I'm kinda stuck ATM...

I'll give that a try this weekend. I hope that works as it would be nice to get back on JB 4.1.2 until jt's 4.2 builds get farther along in developement.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just disabled it. I won't be able to full test until later today, I'll be sure to update when I do.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, this didn't work for me. However, I'm on CM10 nightly 11/20. I may flash Helly Bean if I get a chance and see if it helps.
Finally had a chance to try JellyBean 4.1.2. I was trying out GeeWiz 3.3 for a little bit, then flashed the CWM4_fixed_for_cm7-ODIN file, 3-fingered into recovery, did a data wipe, installed THS build 2, rebooted again and installed AOKP Milestone 1 (stock kernel, not Devil at this time). Before even installing Gapps, I activated the phone, disabled Safe Headset Volume, then started calling it from my home phone. I was able to call it 12 times and it rang every time! I then reinstalled Gapps & some of my apps (manually from App Store, not TiBu), rebooted several times and then tried again by calling it 12-15 times, and it rang every time!
I will keep an eye on it, but it looks like disabling that Safe Volume sound setting really helped. Thanks so much!

UPDATE: I decided to switch back temporarily to the latest CM10 nightly, dated 12/08. No such luck; turning off Safe Handset Volume didn't fix the problem. It would only play the ringtone 1 out of 4 test calls.
I did a factory data wipe, flashed back to AOKP 4.1.2 Milestone 1. Now the phone will ring every time again with Safe Headset Volume disabled. 10 test calls in a row were successful.
There must be something in AOKP that's not in CM10 or CM10 isn't recognizing when the setting is disabled.
UPDATE2: Did a factory data wipe, flashed the latest Skankwich CM10 dated 12/01, disabled Safe Handset Volume, and it works every time as well. 14 calls in a row all rang just fine.
In Euroskank's changelog, for quite a while it says this: "Fix ringing audio focus handling". This cherry pick never seems to make it into the main CM10. You guys think this could be why his releases work and the main CM10 doesn't?

Fix ringing audio focus handling.
Test case:
- enable increasing ringtone starting at volume 0
- start any music player
- get an incoming call
Previous behaviour:
When ringtone volume is increased from 0 to 1, music continues playing even
though ring tone is playing as well.
New behaviour:
When ringtone starts, music is attenuated to make user aware of incoming
call. When ringtone volume is increased to 1, music stops playing.

Well all I can say is it mysteriously fixed itself on my brothers fascinate (see post #2) then on PA 2.52 I think.. then I updated to pa 2.54, and now he's on black bean 6 and it's working fine, ringtone always plays.

I know this is an old thread, but I decided to try out CM 10.1 and ran into the same problem again. The setting is not there in JB 4.2 so tried rolling back to different past versions of JB 4.1.2, including the latest HellyBean 4.1.2 release and AOKP JB Milestone 1 both on stock kernel and Devil Kernel, and even after disabling the safe volume setting on all of them the problem still persists.
I wish I could find a pattern as to why I'm having such a problem with this. It must not be happening on the majority since the CM team hasn't fixed it in the last 5 months.
Hopefully someday someone can figure this out; it really sucks not being able to use the latest and greatest. This is just a deal breaker for me.
People can't hear me unless i put my phone on speaker. i know there have been posts on this but i can't find anything. help please!
What rom are you on? If a cm build then what is the date?

i have tried several different roms. my current rom is Stock w/ Goodies 2.23 Project Silk.
i have tried several other roms to see if the problem is still there and it is the same. however, i did try a CM based rom and the receiving end couldn't hear me on speaker or not.

I am using CM 10.1 (nightlies) and for a period of time I had this same problem. I unchecked the "noise suppression" in the "call settings" options (go to dialer and hit menu then settings). That solved the problem although I've had it re-enabled for a week now and it seems to be working fine. So you might either kill that setting or update your rom.
Hope that helps!
